I tried to play it, however the game opened up to 'Leave home to start the game' and the cursor does not match the tile highlighted and the console gave these errors: (on win11, resolution 1920x1080)

Not too sure I understood the whole concept it was a bit hard to follow, but I enjoy the idea of a minimal mouse control survival concept, there's something to dig here !
Such a nice mood to this game! I loved the take on the theme as well, and the graphics were superb :) I couldn't figure out how to learn plowing tho.
@strong99 I haven't really tested the downloadable versions. I messed up the resolution/screen size settings from the start so now the game only supports 1280x1280. I tried to fix that, but it basically involves rewriting the whole project, because everything is dependent on the screen resolution. You can try the web version, but the cursor will probably be incorrectly positioned. Sorry for that :)
@osh-studio The idea is that you learn a new skill every winter. Plowing is on the 6th year. I didn't have time to include a tutorial.
neat idea, tutorial would go a long way but neat implementation of a fun theme! :)
I really enjoyed the art and music, but I found the game a bit confusing to play.

I really liked the art for this game, but I agree that it would have been nice to have clearer instructions, even just in the description on your itch page. Neat idea, though!
Bit buggy, but the season change was awesome! nice clicker :)
Sound design and mood are awesome! However I don't get what is the challenge. It's incredibly easy to get food and wood, but I almost don't lose it.

I really love the graphics and the tile-style game, but the screen resolution is very strange, does net fit screen. But I think its a nice game and can be even better if you keep improving this project. Thanks to share.
A very relaxing experience. I absolutely love the graphics and the audio. Personally, I would love if the game ramped up a bit quicker and there were more things to do (waiting until year 6 to be able to do farming is a bit too long in my opinion). Would be nice if you had the time to add a tutorial, but the description page alongside the on-screen messages explain the game pretty well.
Struggling on the HTML5 with the mouse (the cursor doesn't match the mouse position) Maybe because itsn't full screen ? Maybe add a fullscreen button. Nice little atmosphere and cool to see this kind of game in the jam!

The music got me in such a mood that I just kept playing... both the home and outside tracks are awesome! Did you make them?
I went into overdraft with the bread and wood but the game didn't seem to care ;)

A very interesting concept. The screen resolution is very annoying, but it's not critical. The music and visual are simple, but they form a good atmosphere of loneliness, which I really liked. When I was playing, I kept having ideas about what I could add, I think it's wonderful. The most important indicator seems to me to be the process indicator, it is very lacking. I often got confused and clicked on the same tiles. I think it would be more interesting if the tiles somehow influenced the nearby ones. For example, new trees would grow only if there is already a tree nearby. Keep it up!
@ofiro Yep, both tracks are by me :)
@KITmani I had both of these ideas too, but kept putting them aside and didn't manage to do them in time.
@deltamain There is no real challenge i guess. The main thing is the atmosphere, so I just made sure all resources are always in abundance.

Art and music are awesome. But gameplay not polished and very raw. Nice game to chill btw :D

Beautiful, I love the concept and the art
i love the aesthetic ! and gameplay made me want to try the game ! i can cut tree but i didnt find how to become farmer ? and i guess we can make food with him . maybe we need to wait more year but if its the case it a bit too long because i left the game before. with balancing, it can make the start of the game attractive!

I really like this game! I hope you will continue to build on the idea! Loved the music, it created a great sense of time passing, and went well with the theme. I also really like the art style you used. I might recommend adding a little more visual contrast between the grass and the trees? They are a little hard to distinguish. Really enjoyed playing this - great work!
The game is super interesting! Maintaining a small farm like that for survival is super cool. Perhaps the early game was too slow, with not much happening over time. When farming enters the scene, it's too late and now you're really hectic with so many activities. Perhaps a few changes to things like this would balance the game a bit more.
The graphics and music fit really well with the gameplay. Having a meter to show you the progress on different tasks (as well as having sound effects for them) would go a long way to making gameplay feel smoother. Nice work!
