Overall it was a simple and challenging game. It had some problems like the jump sound sounding like it was played multiple times when jumping and some times not playing at all, the tiles could use some work. The character and the background looked nice and the music was pretty good. The meteor(potatoes?) not having any warnings before they just start falling felt pretty annoying since dying meant i had to go a long way back.
Nice background, cute little witch. If only the style of map materials could be as cute! The safety points are cleverly set up

Continue like this, there is a lot of good ideas ! Maybe try to have a consistent pixel size, adding more juice, there is a lot of ressources online that will help you
So intense gameplay in so tiny game
Fun little game! I really enjoyed jumping around and dodging the meteor(?).
i enjoyed the gameplay.nice job
The mechanics of the game are quite simple but effective! I think it could be interesting to add more information / effects during the game like for example: An alarm a few seconds before the cookies fall.

Simple game but effective. Love the cute little witch. It was fun to play :)
heey! thanks for commenting our game, followed you for the next jam :3. I agree with @maluskhan a little audio feedback would be nice, the pop sound of the cookies is a little low. Also camera shake and particle system for the explosions would make a big impact for sure. Sadly I wasn't able to finish it, in the ice blocks levels I go through the blocks, respawn and go through again in an infinite loop going faster and faster, maybe the colliders of the ice blocks can be adjusted and also reset the player speed when respawn, ohh maybe you can also reset the time counter for the falling objects when you die, because I think you calculated the time that tooks you to reach the protective platforms. Another alternative is display a window when you die, so you can choose to leave, respawn on the checkpoint or reset the level. Awesome work team :D. It was entertaining, the character is cute, I love how he/she fell asleep :3, the music is amazing

@gamedevtraum Thank you for the feed back ill look into the ice blocks immediately. I did mean you make slot your suggestions but I ran out of time. I ended staying up for 30 hours to get the levels done in time.
@afells of course, time is super limited. Are you going to upload a new version? I was planning to give it another try to see if I can finish it, but if you are going to update I wait, let me know :D

@gamedevtraum it has been patch the players collision detection just needed to be set to continuous
Really smooth controls, enjoyed the movements a lot. The music gave good vibes and I was surprised how many levels there were. I think i completed at least 7 and then it got to hard. I enjoyed this game, only feedback is perhaps having more variety on the levels. Well done!

@appoxgames I believe on level 8 the level changes and has a new mechanic introduced.

Challenging little game, there were some tricky jumps, but I finally reached the end. The Music is nice and the controls are good. The checkpoints and shelters from the deadly cookie rain are very apprechiated :) The game felt a bit too long, the tiles and gameplay feel a bit repetitive after a while. In the last section I expected raining lava but thankfully it never came ^^ I like that there's different themes like ice and snow and normal terrain. Sometimes jumps were hard to land because the terrain tailes moved offscreen while jumping. Otherwise, good job!
I really liked the graphics, especially the background image. The level design could use some work though - the maps were quite frankly boring.

Simple game but very well made art and movement. Level design was lacking a lot though, quality should always be over quantity when making a game especially during a game jam. I played this game up until the first ice level and all maps felt similar and not very exciting despite the huge number of levels you made.

Cute game. I appreciate the first level or two introducing the player. There's a lot of levels, which is fine, but I found them getting same-y. Either way, keep up the good work.
Cute little pixel art, I think the run sprite was maybe a little bit jumpy. I think the jump for a platformer game is super important and could use a little work here. The levels were designed well to keep the player with options to stay safe, but also there was a large amount of levels that offered similar challenges, so it was a bit easy to feel stale. Teach the player something new, challenge the player with it, repeat.
Nice platforming with good pacing and difficulty. The main improvement I'd make is to add space to the bottom of the screen, so that my jump target is visible when I double jump downards.

Theme could be flashed out better, but overall a good game. thanks for the submission!
It's good to see here a platformer with safepoints and latejumps by the edges - it soothes the pain dealt by unpredictible falling sky =) Level design seems fair challanging. Kinda expected some magic happening in magic setting. Overall I had a good time playing the game. Good work!
I enjoyed most of the music, and the artwork was nice. That being said, the artwork was a bit inconsistent with the pixel sizing between the main character and the tile map, as well as the hand-drawn background. As some others have pointed out, the meteors and snow in later levels could have had any warning, or when I died from falling out of the map and went back to a checkpoint, I don't feel as though I should have to wait AGAIN for meteors to fall. Maybe remove the trigger that causes them to fall once the player makes it to the checkpoint. Yes, after a while it feels stale and I don't know how many levels there are, because I stopped about 10-12 levels in, after the 3rd or 4th level in a row where I hit the book and immediately fell off the 4 tile wide starting platform from the next level, since I was still moving forward from hitting the book in the previous level.
Thanks for the experience! I love the art of witch!
I'm impressed by the lifespan of your game! Good job! I've never seen such violent snow x)
