Link should work now.
Update: Added controls to description
Chilled out atmosphere is a nice break from the fast paced action, really like your artwork.
Needs a bit more instruction on the controls and I feel like the camera zoomed in too much, especially after I attached to some huge objects. Art is great, I even found a dead spaceman :(
The movement was a bit slow. I dunno if I didn't get it, but it didn't really do much for me. I was just floatin' out in space, collecting keys, passing doors... was that it?
Nice art style, but it need some instruction to explain the gameplay and controls.
I collected a bunch of junk and the key, brought the key to the keyhole and then the screen turned white and said thanks for playing? lol. I'm not certain of the object of this game but it seemed interesting. Also there was no audio for me. not sure if that was intentional. I also had to alt +f4 to leave the game lol. there was no quit button
like the art! feels nice!
This game will probably feel too absurd/abstract for most people but I loved it! I like how you can become a floating pile of junk with a will of its own, floating through space. I can definitely imagine a much higher production value version of this - kinda reminds me of the ending of the game Inside. The mood of this game was great. What are those color blobs? And the colorful creatures chasing you? So much mystery... you really built the vibe very well. The camera did act kinda weird sometimes, but otherwise I think I understood and appreciated what you were going for.
Neat Katamari Damacy look-alike! Very moody game all round. My only two complaints are the camera and the enemy projectiles completely destroying you, but I made it to the end and had fun regardless.
On first attempt, when I hit the key, I got black screen and game stopped responding. Managed to push it to the key hole on second attempt, but couldn't find second key in the next area.
I also gave up before the second key :( Even if you oupted out of Sound, I'd still add a free music score and at least minimalistic sound effects. The art is very nice and funny. The controls are working but I noticed that you don't normalise the zoom level well and when you move in a diagonal, it gets sqrt(2) times bigger than going just X or Y, or something like that :)
Nice and relaxing game! It was a little hard to know what to do. I wish there was a little more direction even in the game description. But overall I like the art direction. Congratulations!
Love a nice casual game! I liked the art a lot and it was satisfying picking things up. I think I'd have preferred if you just lost some of the objects when you got hit rather than all of them - though I guess that it doesn't matter too much to the overall goal. Good job overall!
Wasn't expecting that! Never played a game like this before. Solid graphics and mechanics except for the odd gamecrashing bug
@deathhound Thanks for playing our game. You mentioned you ran into a bug. Could you describe what you encountered? Were you using the browser version or the downloadable windows version?
no clue what to do but floating around is quite nice so yeah. graphics are pretty aight lacks sound though
the goal was a bit unclear. Nice game overall
Love the drawings, and great job on the visual appearance in general! Gameplay-wise, I was quite confused about a couple of things, and only some of them cleared up while playing: Why does the view only zoom out when I'm moving diagonally? Why am I sometimes randomly slowing down or get flung across the universe when I crash into things? Are the strange colorful blobs helping or eating me? Why does the debris suddenly stop after the second lock?
Apart from this confusion, it was actually great to just explore the different areas, find the keys and have some sort of difficulty progression (although I don't think the player has anything like health?). With some soothing space music, this would be a very nice game to relax :massage:
First I though this game was a 2D Katamari Damacy: collected bunch of junk, the camera zoomed out. Then I tried joining one of the bigger asteroids butmy collection of precious space junk exploded all around me. Flinging the character across the multidimensional rifts. So, looks like my space exploration was a success :joy:
On my second try kept trying to move diagonally, to gain bigger absolute velocity value to get a bigger camera zoom-out. Finding old crewmates floating in space was a nice, yet a sad touch. Took them with me anyways. Don't know what kind of technologies might be available in those rare alien worlds. Then a pair of very colorful alien friends got attached to me. So I couldn't break their heart, and took them with me on my journey. And then the sad reality hit us - `Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.` (Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, Adams Douglas). Well, at least I have some colorful company for discussions until we hit some planet.... Or more likely a black hole..
