LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Forest of the Lost by MartensCedric 2022-10-07T10:18:14Z

Nice concept! I thought the movement was a tad slow and I maybe would have picked a bit smaller map. After some time of walking around and not finding the next clue it became a bit repetitive and I found myself getting impatient. I thought it was very smart how you introduced the player to the mechanics in daylight with harmless animals, so that when it became dangerous at night you already knew what to do without having to die a lot figuring it out.

Exorcist Patrol by PeachTreeOath 2022-10-05T08:41:04Z

This was such a cool and individual concept and I loved the level of difficulty! I struggled a lot with the final enemy but that made it so rewarding when I finally defeated it. A bit more explaining of the mechanics maybe would have been nice, for example it took me some time to understand that purple blocks meant the spell was to close to another and wouldnt be executed. I also really enjoyed the artwork :)

Purfect Thyming by gswong 2022-10-03T10:14:33Z

Really sweet game and artwork! I liked the concept, however it was a little unclear what the endgoal was. Was there a certain amount of potions to finish to succeed? Without a clear goal/finish line, creating all these potions felt a little meaningless. I thought the cat was super cute and I loved the idea of it interupting your spellwork, it was a little bit hard to understand how it operated though. I really liked how you were given the instructions by hovering the cursor over the different parts.

The Curse of Tencond by Harry Alissavakis 2022-10-03T12:54:53Z

I loved the concept: Simple but super effective and challenging in a fun way! I also really enjoyed the character dialogues and how polished everything felt :) Great game!

Cataclysm by indegame 2022-10-06T07:42:25Z

Great concept with lots of potential. However I wish the game didnt rely on having to read a massive text in order to fully understand the mechanics, which most people are not going to want to do. The music was nice.

HALL OF GAMES by spudboy 2022-10-03T10:22:59Z

I liked the idea and the combination of several minigames. It was super fast though and felt quite hectic. The game moved a bit to fast for me to properly understand the minigames and execute the knowledge. And when I felt I understodd what I was supposed to do, the game moved on to the next minigame. Maybe the first round there could have been a little more time and every following round theres less time. That way youd get the chance to properly understand the games at first but its not going to be too easy when the game progresses.

Just a Minute by Britt Henderson 2022-10-03T13:18:03Z

Really fun concept and I enjoyed playing. However it felt a bit unbalanced, maybe a fifth crewmate would have helped. I also wasnt sure at first what the room was where the pirates shouldnt go and which rooms were connected. Was still fun and I enjoyed how the game looked :)

Garden Grind by Daxic 2022-10-03T20:17:53Z

Very cute game, I loved the graphics! However I found it a bit hard to understand by what logic the plants were moved.

Countdown Cowboy by waffleworksgames 2022-10-03T14:08:21Z

I think you managed a good balance between making the games easy enough to be understood in seconds but not making it too easy by adding difficulty each round. Well done! The music was a tad too loud in my opinion.

Potion Commotion by hulien22 2022-10-06T11:22:55Z

Such a sweet concept with great art! However the instructions were only on screen for half a second or something, so it was hard to understand what to do. I also wasn't able to remove a potion from the candle.

Acid Rain by osh.studio 2022-10-03T13:03:46Z

I loved the artwork and color scheme, made it really atmospheric!

Sally's Scribbles by Enjl 2022-10-03T17:54:45Z

I loved the artwork and the character designs of the different characters! The idea of the game is sweet, but it didnt seem to make a difference what I drew as long as I didnt submit a blank sheet. That kind of took the motivation away to put a lot of effort in. The audio was nice and I appreciated the different sounds for different customers :)

DEEP DIVE by Oakhardt 2022-10-07T10:46:07Z

This was amazing! Super challenging, maybe even a bit too much for a game jam, but I found myself really invested and kept pushing till I got to the end. The art and color scheme are amazing as well!

Clock Hop by Dcuookie 2022-10-03T13:33:44Z

I loved the graphics! The gameplay was very carefully timed and I never had more than half a second left before finishing a level, which was very impressive. Maybe the first levels could have been a tad easier, but overall a great game :)

Here and There in 10 Seconds by IronnButterfly 2022-10-04T12:46:51Z

Sweet art, I loved playing as a cat. However I couldnt use the shrink option when pressing c which made the yellow level impossible to pass.

Tattooz by Juels 2022-10-03T16:12:54Z

Super cute game! I loved the tattoo designs (especially the dino!)+ the hard mode was very fun and a nice change :)

The Only Way Is Forward by Fabian Denter 2022-10-03T14:31:11Z

The atmosphere you created is amazing! From the visuals to the audio and how the story element of the headach feeling translated into the distorted screen, I was blown away! However the theme only really seemed to be an afterthought, which I dont think matters too much though. I liked how you did an interactive visual novel type of thing, but I felt the interactive part fell a bit flat. I didnt feel like I had much influence on the story, eg. when there were three dialogue options to choose from but I ended up having to pick all of them anyway. This made the initial choice of which of the three to say kind of meaningless. The story itself was really cool though and had me very intrigued! Great work :)
