Need a back button on HOW TO PLAY Screen. Not able to go back to main menu.
Nothing seems to happen when I press X. Other than that, the game seems fine. It looks pretty good. Would have been good if the music loop was longer.
Not sure if I was doing something wrong, but I couldn't get the X key action to work.
Damn its really fast :) But I felt that, panic trying to prepare for the direction of shooting)
Agree with above comments, X doesn't seem to work regardless of where you stand and I got stuck on how to play and had to refresh the page. Apart from that, not bad for a nice simple game, sorta strikes me like a reflex test since those enemies come on pretty fast. I like how the hero looks like they're dancing to the music
Hi, like other people said, you can't get out from the tutorial screen and the x key doesn't seem to work.
You put a comment in itch.io where you said that you would wait the end of the jam to solve it.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules from the rules, you can patch those bugs if they aren't working properly (x button):
Certain Bug Fixes are allowed. You can’t add new features, but if something broke or didn’t work correctly as you were finishing up, you can fix this after the deadline. You are asked to highlight the changes you make in your submission (a short change log). You probably wont get a 2nd chance with some players, but at least it wont be a problem for future players.
Anyway, nice game!
Nice retro feel to this, the music did keep things feeling tense.
Even after I worked out the timing of the alien spawning and was able to fire early the music kept the feeling of "it only takes one mistake".
I'm guessing the x button issue was patched as I didn't need to use it to finish the game.
