I love the space theme, good project! Not to say it's simple. The graphics are on par.

I love the space theme, good project! Not to say it's simple. The graphics are on par.
"Easy" huh? Took me few tries to get through the first level and it was intense! Even though my APM was 60 and I have some experience on RTS games this game was difficult!
Was the main menu song made with AI? The graphics and sounds were impressive, were they really made during the jam?
The gameplay was solid. There are plenty of quality of life things I would have loved to have, but it is extremely difficult to have even a remotely working RTS game during a game jam, so good job!
@martta Main menu song was made with AI, indeed) All 3D, animations, VFXs, Shaders, UI and etc. was indeed created in this 72 hours during the jam)
Impressive!
Great game! I loved the art style and the menu, very cool!
Great game, I'm quite a fan of the theme and art style
I liked the game ! great idea and great execution
Great game. To cram a decent amount of non-buggy mechanics is pretty amazing. And in just 3 days. I also like the style of the game. It's pretty simple to implement but very effective.
@slava-besckaravainii yeah 283 commits incoming xddd
Such a cool idea, I love seeing everything fly by in the background :D Love the style. Great job!
The game is sooo hard. Couldn't get past the second mission. Great ideea though. Love the cute vocal music in the menu. And the loader unit was a very creative idea!
Space theme, I couldn't figure out how to do one with the theme
At first, I didn't know how to replenish the bots' resources (I didn't know they were there). However, I liked the idea that you show the bot's functions in the main menu, so I immediately understood what each of them is responsible for.
Despite the fact that I could only squeak through two levels, I enjoyed playing.
in 3 days, the game was made perfectly, although with minor deviations
I couldnโt get past the first mission, but itโs a great idea. I love the art style
Pretty cool game and I really like the art style. Not that good of a gamer and kept on breaking my ship, but really cool game to be made in 3 days.
Great game, really impressive in this short term.
How this even possible to make incredible work!
The neon graphics blend perfectly with the music and the overall narrative. It feels like you've walked into a Star Wars bar. I am still far from such a high level. Thank you for looking into our project. Let me express my wishes. When the drone runs out of charge, I want the game to indicate with an arrow that it's time for him to go to his dock. I thought for another half minute. It seems that's all)) Let me ask you how to make the same song as in the start menu?
๐ Great job on the space game! ๐ Graphics and style: Amazing visuals and style. It looks like you put a lot of effort into the details! Music: The sound adds atmosphere and makes the game more fun. Idea: The concept with resources and bot management is an interesting approach to RTS.
The game looks impressive, you have created an interesting and fun project.! ๐๐
cool
Really cool idea!
Cool game, but sometime, my drone don't attack enemy
I like how it feels like RTS. And also great visual!
Insane. I love the concept. Improvements that quickly become essential. The deployment of purple which is a bit slow ^^ but I think I'm bad. But I can fix it so everything is good! And itโs so good! I finished the first level on the second try. I didn't immediately understand the areas that allow us to recharge our robots. Otherwise the graphics are great.
Wow! Incredible game! I had trouble understanding at first how to recharge our machines but in the end for a first game jam it's really impressive.
realy cool I love robots but the first level wasn't so eazy
This is a really well made game. The gameplay loop is really well refined and fun. My only real complaint is the levels resetting after losing.
Congrats on making the best menu screen ever :) That song was just brilliant. The gameplay was good, the mood was absolutely brilliant. I really liked the graphical style. Very good job.
Cool game! I liked it.
Cool idea but extremely difficult. Im not much of an RTS or moba player so maybe my brain isnt wired correctly for this but I found it really difficult to micromanage the tasks of every droid. I managed to beat the "easy" level but the 2nd one destroyed me
I didn't figure out what to do the first time (really, who reads descriptions, right? =)). But when I did, I was hooked for a long time. The best game of this Ludum Dare, so far)
The most mechanically interesting game I've played so far. Really really impressive stuff - knocking this out in just over a weekend is crazy!! There is so much replayability here! Great job guys.
I found the game hard but its one of the only games I've played during this jam where I actually think its just a skill issue instead of some fundamental flaw with the game. I.e., its very polished and deliberately designed in a thoughtful way.
It's the best game over this Jam. Grafic is perfect, gameplay is adorable. I love toonshading games, realy good job!!!!
Wow! Really amazing you managed to pull this off in shuch a short time. The shaders were great as well as the deep mechanics you implemented. The game has great replayability and it's very clever. I found it a bit hard the first time but once I got the hang of it it got smoother.
I'd love to see the help menu or a tutorial in the main menu because it took me some time to see it :stuck_out_tongue:
Awesome submission!
My jaw dropped when I saw the main menu. Just wow! Camera motion, scene, the song - everything is so very well done. And I really enjoyed the game. It is quite complicted and I had to lose several times before I understood, like, what each droid supposed to do, and that reloading meachanic, but it was a pleasant experience. Super impressive work!
This game is good. You have to grind a lot in the first level to stand a chance in the later ones though, as you literally don't have the time to do everything necessary to survive without plenty of upgrades. Everything worked well, even if it was tricky to figure out. Art style was also very well executed. As great as the game was, I have to lower my rating for the use of any AI generated content in the game, as I personally feel it goes against the spirit of what a game jam is.
Probably the most polished game of this Jam. Gameplay is really impresive and the game looks also great
I do wish there was a tutorial, or if there was and I missed one I'd prefer the tutorial to be more visible. The music was well done, despite my thoughts on the title theme being AI. Not too fitting for the theme though, felt out of place.
holy shit the game is good but i wish the keybinds dont keep changing from level to level and also a group selection option anyway congrats on making this amazing game in a short amount a time WELL PLAYED
Gameplay really fun and interesting. Maybe the parallax it's little too fast and aggressive for my eyes xD
Big congratulations to the team on completing Repair Drone Brigade! The idea of controlling a squad of unique droids, each with its own essential role, sounds like such a cool and strategic gameplay experience.
Nice game! Congrats on getting such strategic gameplay finished in such a short period of time!
Whoooooa, the visuals are great - especially for the jam's duration. The space doesn't really convey the "tiny creatures" theme, but i love games that are set in space anyway, so I enjoyed it.
I like the idea but I got lost so quickly. The first level was already very difficult, I think you should give players a bit more time to learn the controls :) could be just me being slow though.
It would be great to have the shortcut numbers shown above the robots, I often selected the wrong robot and then the purple one ended up trying to repair holes or something...
I dislike the use of AI though, especially in a game jam.
*Here was spoilers*
Great strategy game! very complex, challenging and well balanced for the ammount of time had. Nice Job!
This is definitely the most impressive game I've seen at this jam. It's pretty much perfect in every way :)
Very impressive and also very hard, not gonna lie. With concept like this the only thing I wish would be better is more responsive controls. Anyway, extremely solid, good job!
Really impressive for a jam game! The concept of managing a team of unique droids is clever, and the space theme is well-executed. I found the game challenging, especially on the first level, and the controls could be a bit more responsive. It might help to give players more time to learn the mechanics early on. Overall, great work, especially for something made in such a short time!
Very cool style! The ships flying around in the background really added to the experience, I'm glad you went the extra mile to create dynamic environments! Unfortunately my attack bot glitched during the first mission and wouldn't shoot. Otherwise, nice little rts concept. You really feel like r2d2 during the death star assault or something.
Edit: I just read that the red droid needs to resupply. That definitely could have been communicated better in game, but obv this is a game jam. At least it's not a bug!
@imberny Well, I don't think it was a glitch! We tested our game thoroughly, so I believe you just ran out of ammo. Every Droid has a unique resource. Please read the description on this game page or in the in-game pause menu.:) We hope you enjoy our game!
Edit: Yes, we wanted to provide more clear information about the limited resources available, but we didn't have enough time before the submission deadline)
Simple graphics that look very cool and high-quality. It's a visually pleasing game, it gives me a little bit of relaxation. The idea is interesting, but I personally was not hooked. According to the gameplay, everything is immediately clear, and this is very pleasing. Good luck!
The visuals are impressive, especially knowing all of it was made in just 72 hours. The resource management and bot mechanics add a fun challenge to the gameplay. I did find it a bit tough at times, but that made completing levels even more satisfying!
Amazing job on this project, especially for such a short time frame! :))
This one looks like a real game that you buy on Steam. The graphics are pretty cool, even though the materials are simple. But it has what a game needs: nice visuals, great gameplay and a vibe that make it addictive. One of the most impressive games of this jame, GJ!
This looks like an amazing game. Wayy to hard for my taste though. sometimes it was clicking on bots, or bot commands was inprecise which made it really frustrating.
Very cool concept and it played quite well. I did have some struggles clicking on the robots at times and the hot keys to select them threw me off at times, but that's probably a me thing. Overall a fun experience, but I wasn't able to reach the last level as after losing in the second level is reset my progress and I had to start over. Still, well done.
I really like it graphics are aweosome. But easy level for me feels like hard. There is some disadvantages: 1) pick circle dont show when drone on charge. 2) On second level changes hotkey on droids, like repair droid was on 2, and now it is on 3.
WOW!! What an incredibly well executed game!! The visuals, the sounds, the gameplay, it's all here!
Absolutely stellar work guys you should be very proud :)
Nice game,very interesting plot!!!!Nice job!!!!
It's an interesting game, but I feel like it needs a bit of polishing.
Wow! The game is so wonderful! Keep making games!
Very interesting and fun game, also 3d make very well)
