It may be too early in the morning, but I got stuck on the SWIM/WATER hints. The game was unique and I want to know why an armadillo kidnapped me and had me floating in space, so I may come back and give this another shot after I've had my coffee.
Amazing game though! Very good! Also, I am stuck at the "BODY/BODY PART" one
Not bad. I like the way the theme was used, and the gameplay was smooth and bug free. It was reeeeaaaaally hard for me though, I could not get past Drowsy, even with the help of google.
Cool concept, very cool animation and art. I found the puzzle a little to hard though, couldn't past the thrid screen :D
Hey, that was pretty cool! I bet you guys spent a lot of time with a dictionary this weeekend! :P
It was a bit annoying because I got stuck on some levels. Some levels I won instantly and others I spent around 5 minutes on. Was he looking for a specific word each time? Or did you need a certain score? If the latter, the points needed should be displayed. In fact, the score isn't displayed at all and feels kinda pointless?
Anyway, the game was really cool. The graphics are simple but effective, sound is on point, and there's a good focus on small details such as clicking to instantly fill out the speech bubble. Great job!

Nice. I actually stumbled a bit on the very first screen, because I'm a bit of a dingus. But once I figured out what to do, I managed to scrabble my way to the end. Very good! The music especially stood out to me, but I'm also guessing one or some of you have spent a lot of time finding responses for most of these words! Good job, team!
This is really cool. Maybe a button that scrambled the bottom letters would be cool, I found myself kinda mixing them myself to try and find words. Super unique idea and I think you executed it perfectly

Overall: Splendid. Creative gameplay with excellent graphics and music. A really satisfying game to play through.
Fun: I enjoy scrabble and cryptic crosswords so this was right up my alley. I enjoyed just figuring out what I had to do. And then once I got the hang of it, it was very satisfying figuring out how to proceed. I appreciate the hints that you occasionally give for some words. I nearly quit on the "Fin" screen - it would be a shame if players did, because the game keeps getting better as it goes on.
Innovation: Yep! There are games about making words, but I've not seen this gameplay combined with a story like this.
Theme: Great interpretation.
Graphics: Beautiful graphics and animations - must have been a tremendous amount of work.
Audio: Superb music - during the tense parts it really adds to the creepy feeling.
Humor: Sure. I laughed at some of the responses to my words.
Mood: Really good, especially thanks to the music.
Very odd premise of a game but it kept getting better! Fun

Loved that game! I couldn't stop playing it all the way to the credits (you nearly got me with the fini though). I also like that one kinda needs to find out on the go how the whole game works; you literally start with nothing. The storyline is a bit random though and hence, the words are sometimes quite hard to guess. I also was a bit disappointed that nothing happened with the scores I enthusiastically collected on the way. And it would be nice to be able to press the space bar to continue. All in all, a really catchy game with fitting graphics and sound!
Well done! Great visuals and a good story. Although I nearly quit after getting offended by this armadillo, I somehow managed to finish the game :) Funny and mind twisting experience. Keep it up!

Interesting concept and a wonderful game. Quite a few opportunities to get stuck but the little rewards for finding unrelated words counteract that a little.

I loved the humor. The puzzle was a bit too hard. Got stuck on the third screen. Couldn't quite figure out why I couldn't progress since it seemed like I got a long enough word. Overall, nice job guys! OK. I was finally able to ..Finnish the game :)

Good concept, nice Graphics, fun and complete story. Not much to say apart from fantastic job.
The only thing I have to say is that clicking on the letters is sometimes a bit unresponsive and its weird that you get a higher score overall if you put in more wrong words than if you get it right on the first try, but I guess its not really about the score so it doesnt reall matter.
Excellent stuff! My team also thought of a scrabble-like game where you start with "nothing" so it was really great to see what another team could do with that same concept! I really like how it starts off simple, and shows off how the clue system works. I love how the music starts layering as the plot advances! Great job on the armadillo having so many unique responses to words during different parts of the game! I wish the final clue had a small prompt to it, because I almost thought the game bugged out... but besides that, I had a blast.
My final score was 565!

Beautifully made game. Some of the words did seem a bit arbitrary but it was actually quite touching in the end.
I loved the couple of times the rules established by the game were stretched. Firstly when the fin popped up but it was yellow so you could click on it. Secondly when all the text was yellow. Such great moments of gameplay reflecting the story.
This is seriously one of the top games of the jam for me. Great job!

Great work on this. I liked all the custom responses.
I'd really like some keyboard shortcuts though. Being able to type the words would be much less tiring than moving my mouse and clicking so much. An idea: Allow typing the words and backspace to delete. Enter to submit and to advance dialog. Maybe also a shortcut to clear the input (e.g. Space?)
A pretty smart idea and fine game. The only problem I've faced is that it's not clear that I have to press 'nothing' at the very beginning to start the game.

This is awesome! The gameplay is really fun. It was satisfying to find the right word, but I definitely liked getting all the words I could think of - and being rewarded by clever responses, and I really appreciate that you included a hint in the "incorrect" responses too. The whole game is so full of personality - the armadillo was amusing and it was fun to discover the actual story!
My only thought for an enhancement would be to accept keyboard input - that would make trying different words smoother. But overall, I had a big smile on my face the whole time I was playing, great job!
I like this angry armadillo quite a lot, particularly the voice sounds lol, it reminds me of Banjo Kazooie characters

Hello there ! Your game made me laugh a lot, I successfully completed it and I'm pleased we could finally become friend with that angry armadillo XD. I made a video review about it on my YT channel : https://youtu.be/QnRU47bjmhg :)

fun & funny little game. I thought the ending was a little anti-climactic but i really enjoyed it all-in-all.

@satanos Thanks for playing! I hope you learned a few English words from our game, because I just learned a few French words from checking out your video!

@carraka Haha, actually your game use a pretty fair/simple vocabulary and so it's totally possible for a foreigner to play it !
