LD44 — Your life is currency

Heart To The Sky by Baby Dino Herd 2019-05-04T16:57:42Z

Catchy little puzzle; took me ages to solve just because one can't see the stairs so well at the top but it didn't get boring at all! It is really intuitive to play and it's cool how the player needs to figure out themeselves that they can slide down the levels without stairs. Loved it. Can't see the connection to the theme though...

I like the simple idea;) Got stuck at the border a lot though...

Loved the abstract turn on the theme!

LD45 — Start with nothing

You Lose. Good Day, Sir. by Carraka 2019-10-08T14:07:38Z

Loved that game! I couldn't stop playing it all the way to the credits (you nearly got me with the fini though). I also like that one kinda needs to find out on the go how the whole game works; you literally start with nothing. The storyline is a bit random though and hence, the words are sometimes quite hard to guess. I also was a bit disappointed that nothing happened with the scores I enthusiastically collected on the way. And it would be nice to be able to press the space bar to continue. All in all, a really catchy game with fitting graphics and sound!

Bleeding Edge Software by HitchH1k3r 2021-10-04T23:10:05Z

What a ride! Never seen such a game before; brilliant take on the theme and definitely high on innovation. The most surprising bit was that when I found out that the game did not actually crash but it was part of it. The theme was most strongly conveyed by the visuals like the "missing" card images and the increasing blurriness. What was really frustrating and hence could be improved that one can get stuck in this mini games without any clue how many rounds you have to survive - a level number would have been motivational; the snake-like mini games were quite difficult and I nearly gave up there. But i loved the clean 3D graphics of the snake games!

Absolutely awesome, I got hooked instantly! At first sight, I thought it was again one of this "find your way games" but was entirely baffled when I realised what a twist the different layers provide. Would love to have more levels (though haven't managed level 3 yet but will definitely give it another try) and to download it to my phone;) Some things that weren't as intuitive for me: * I thought the ladder could only be mounted from the tile below it (and not from the sides) * it wasn't clear which field was on top of the other (maybe some numbering or different shading would help?) * I wasn't aware that one needs the space bar to start the game (I was absolutely convinced that the banner had to be clicked  )

I love the 2D graphics (I definitely had the urge to play it on a Gameboy) and the old-school sound effects. Maybe an annoying repetitive tune would make the experience even greater? Good job!

Couldn't finish the game but fun take on the theme. I was a bit confused to start with as I didn't realise that there were two types of barrels. Also I think it would be fun if the "ingredients" for the canon are placed at different spots after having shot. Love the graphics and the music!

Unstable Piles by nulldreams 2021-10-04T22:05:41Z

I like the twist on the traditional tower block game by adding the levels and the graphics are cute. Unfortunately, one can also win a round when there are enough boxes in terms of count but they don't need to be stacked. Also since the screen is quite wide it takes quite a long time till the box returns to the place where I want to drop a box which left me a bit impatient. Well done on the physics of stacking the boxes!

Packages On Ice by c4ris 2021-10-04T22:21:17Z

Love the aesthetic of the colour pencil graphics and the story line idea which fits the theme perfectly. I also like the animation of Mellie skating. I couldn't run the game in the browser and after downloading it, I couldn't figure out how to pick up stuff to carry over the lake resp. how to drop it.
