Very nice! Easily understandable, hard to figure out.

Very nice! Easily understandable, hard to figure out.
Just as said, last level is seemingly impossible, yet the game is really nice to play.
The last level is really extremely well done with several ah ah moments when you figure out something to prgress a bit further. Having to work out floors you already solved to be able in the upper ones is a great mechanic. So yeah the difficulty ramp might be very steep but the design of the last level is quite brilliant.
The last level was incredibly well designed. It looked straightforward at first, then I tried it and it seemed impossible, then eventually I figured it out.
Solid design; the 3D structure is neat and different to think about. It was a little difficult to realise how the levels are stacked at first; obviously puzzlescript is very limiting in that respect. Perhaps the higher floors could be slightly higher on the screen (maybe by a tile or so) to convey a sense of height? It might also be helpful to put the cover image (with the isometric projection) on the game's page? It's very helpful, but if someone comes to the game by a path that doesn't show the cover image then they won't see it.
The visuals are nice and generally clear; my one slight criticism is that the inner walls don't read to me as walls - they seem a little more like pits with a different background. That might be because the slight isometry from the platform edges makes me expect it everywhere, so walls that don't extend "upwards" don't read as walls?
@tjm Thanks! This is useful feedback. I agree about the inner walls - I added the perspective at the last minute and didn't really apply it to anything else.
Simple rules but quite a brain work to pass all levels ! Excellent level design well done to think of this during the weekend !
Wonderful puzzle with clever rules, it had me stumped for an embarrassingly long time. I almost started angrily writing up an impossibility proof before I finally saw the thing I was missing! Of course it's completely fair and I just had a blind spot for a certain combination of moves.
It always impresses me what puzzlescript games are capable of.
The last level is indeed quite challanging (would have wished for some more honestly). I like the concept/main mechanic of dropping through the floors.
But i have a few improvements for some minor other things:
- i think the undo move needs a sound effect too
- tying moves to push/release and not hold
- a little bit of background music
thats all^^
Really solid, the rewind controls make this very enjoyable. Creating the road to victory for yourself in the last level was very satisfying!
I did it! I beat level 3 ! Altough thus game was short, it really was a cool gameplay idea with well enough difficulty and really thought-out puzzles Really nice 3D in 2D thinking ! The only things it lacks is maybe a thin grid to know more pricesely where we fall and a bit of music :p
Nice one !
really excellent puzzle! and excellent polish on the graphics/animations/sfx etc; this is super snazzy for puzzlescript. I would play more levels!
sweet! its surprising how interesting the puzzles get when you factor in respawning, the art and sound felt really nice too
It's surprising how much depth (pun not intended) this game gets from such a conceptually simple set of rules. I'd have liked more levels - but that's probably a good sign!
Wow! That was awesome. I really liked the puzzles and spent a fair amount of time on the last one but finally managed to crack it. The gameplay is great. Audio and graphics are really simple but counter-balanced by the great puzzles. I would love to see more stuff/levels added in the future.
This was definitely worth my time, thanks a lot and well done!
Absolutely awesome, I got hooked instantly! At first sight, I thought it was again one of this "find your way games" but was entirely baffled when I realised what a twist the different layers provide. Would love to have more levels (though haven't managed level 3 yet but will definitely give it another try) and to download it to my phone;) Some things that weren't as intuitive for me: * I thought the ladder could only be mounted from the tile below it (and not from the sides) * it wasn't clear which field was on top of the other (maybe some numbering or different shading would help?) * I wasn't aware that one needs the space bar to start the game (I was absolutely convinced that the banner had to be clicked  )
I love the 2D graphics (I definitely had the urge to play it on a Gameboy) and the old-school sound effects. Maybe an annoying repetitive tune would make the experience even greater? Good job!
@veloev thanks for the feedback!
Also thanks to everyone else for playing and leaving feedback, I appreciate it :)
Great puzzle, looks as hard to design as it is to solve! Gameplay and visuals are a little unclear at first, red tiles feel like they're meant to be avoided, but aside from that great game!
Great across the board, short and simple like a jam game should be but packing a ton of development of the concept into that space.
