Very solid! Good amount of bite-size levels and nice art/music and cinematics especially. If I'm to criticize it would be some wonky collisions and room to polish with stuff like coyote time and footing. And while the mechanics work well they aren't very inspired or varied. Good job!

It's cool that you made this in such short time and with this many intricacies it seemed stable, but I lost patience with the micromanaging of drinking and eating. It seems really unnecessary and uninteresting, and a fellow spending an entire day drinking is still thirsty? And there is only water in a few locations of the world despite it not being a desert? And you have to spend several days straight only eating to not be hungry? Okay that thirst and hunger play a part, but then you could have supplies of it that you can refresh and they are auto-consumed unless you force march. Then let players focus on the other more interesting parts and make those bits more challenging. Maybe I was doing something wrong but it seemed like I had to go back and forth (because you can't stay in one hex?) for turn after turn to slowly build up drink and food to not die from decay of said values and I could scarcely tell if the decay across the board was outpacing me anyway.

@honest-dan I should add that this really is a type of game for me. I think the mix of ideas is just great, and I could imagine myself spending lots of time setting up tactics and reading battle logs and humanizing the fellows, and I don't mean to criticize micromanagement as a feature. Hmm also did you mean anything in particular by capsing 'however'? Something went over my head? Anyway, big respect for this entry.

Really solid, the rewind controls make this very enjoyable. Creating the road to victory for yourself in the last level was very satisfying!

Nicely made, especially if this was a first! Controls felt smooth and feedback good, even though the sensitivity was rather high even on its lowest setting? Kudos for including a slider though! And on that note, my primary criticism would be the absence of an FOV slider. I think the default was very low and so I got a rather persistent headache after playing :(

Fun idea, nice for a browser game snack. You should probably have made it so that you can't place something inside of another thing though as avoiding exploding physics from clipping became the challenge to beat rather than balancing the buildings which didn't pose a problem at all. You could have it so that you have to drop the buildings from a certain height or distance from other buildings and make them into some dynamic shapes, like the woodcutters could be circles and you have to rein them in with homes for example. Or limit in which parts of the screen they are effective forcing you to put them on the edge. Then the cicada could shoot projectiles at your town that add force to the structure and damage the blocks as a test of structural integrity. I also think the log could have been a fixed seesaw because as it is the game is pretty much lost as soon as it tips a little bit. I'm sure that many of these things were planned - there just isn't enough time - but this game could be a lot of fun with a few of these things in place!

Models and squashy-stretchy animation is great! The tangerines had it coming.
