Hey there, your game seems fun but i don't understand where i'm supposed to send my army of robots :/ Good job for the ambiance !

pathus22 2020-04-21 01:43

the game looks great and the sound is ok! but i got stuck with what to do. need more info for not getting lose. good game and see you in the next jam

I love this concept! I think I was a bit confused as to which button was supposed to do which action, so some more distinction there could help, but I really enjoyed it once I figured it out!

ectucker1 2020-04-21 16:04

@milta @pathus22 Thanks for the feedback! I've added a gif and a bit more explanation to the game page; hopefully that can help you to have some more fun with it.

Great concept and nice visuals. Maybe you could guide the player a little more. Like, does it make a change if i send 6 robots instead of 5 on one platform etc. Had fun playing it.

dceddy7 2020-04-22 20:33

Hard to understand what the objective is and could maybe use some more feedback. seems like a really cool idea and i hope you do more with it!

marcusnystrand 2020-04-22 20:34

Very impressive given the short time, feels like an ambitious project. A bit advanced but I guess my attention span is also short hehe. Nice graphics and audio!

wow what a fun concept. I had difficulty correcting the navigation system (had two sets of robots on each of two buttons adjacent to it but still it kepy failing. I really like the idea of distributed control and how there are miniature puzzles you have to solve to get to the more tricky buttons. Became a bit laggy near the end of the journey (i was so close). But there is a game here that I want to see developed further!

pepperkep 2020-04-22 20:43

The concept is really great and I was able to complete the game just fine. The one problem that I had with it is that to be efficient you need to have exactly five robots on most buttons but its hard to select precise numbers of robots. I enjoyed playing it and what you managed to accomplish in the short time span is pretty impressive.

The concept is pretty interesting, but the lack of instructions make the initial experience painful.

matheusborba 2020-04-23 03:36

Very good

I really love the concept of this game! The graphics and audio are amazing too! Although maybe adding more visual feedback might help as I had issues finding where each room was and sometimes I had difficulty knowing whether I clicked the robots or not.

Love the concept of this game though and I see a lot of potential in it! It's also a pretty ambitious game to be created in just 72 hours, and I think you guys did a great job!

chuchuw 2020-04-23 10:26

I see what you did with the steam icon :D

chuchuw 2020-04-24 08:18

What did you use to host your html version on gitlab ? I'm totally interested.

ectucker1 2020-04-24 16:31

@chuchuw We use Gitlab Pages combined with their [CI system](https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/ci/). Basically, we can press a button on the repo and GitLab will automatically build the game and deploy it to a page. You can take a look at our build script [here](https://gitlab.com/ectucker/ld46/-/blob/master/.gitlab-ci.yml) which is modified from [this setup](https://github.com/aBARICHELLO/godot-ci).

chuchuw 2020-04-24 19:39

thanks ! i'm definitely checking this out.

tacohej 2020-04-29 17:26

Great visuals and very ambitious. Could use some more feedback how things actually works. Maybe less robots and one per plate would simplify things. Anyway, good job

This was a pretty good game (reminded me a lot of FTL, which was probably the main inspiration for this game) but I was quite confused at the beginning. Even though I was told what to do, I was confused on how to repair (figured out how after a couple minutes eventually).

nspevacek 2020-04-30 02:47

Really impressive, love the FTL inspiration. Like some others, I think more information could have been helpful, as I found myself pretty confused when starting out.

frosty 2020-04-30 02:53

I'm a fan of coop games like Space Alert and Red November, and originally thought of doing something like this for my entry, so I like this concept. It works quite well with the RTS mechanic. It took me a couple minutes to figure out what I was supposed to do, but once it got going, it felt like the right amount of frantic-ness.

I would be really interested to see a full polished version of this. :)

Great entry!

sugarsores 2020-04-30 03:04

It's actually really dope that you not only went for something so, imo big in scope, but that you also included a tutorial. I got about half way through my journey and got absolutely overwhelmed with tasks to do. I also think it'd be helpful to know how many bots you're currently selecting and get a more direct feedback as to how well that group would repair. I dig it though, it's like FTL with a lot more micromanaging. Nice job!

supernapie 2020-04-30 17:33

Super fun! I liked the color scheme and the graphics.

Chaotic game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/p2lUl96x8_U
