i really love the graphical style, except for the choice of font
I think I'm missing something here - either my game is bugged or I'm missing a key to jump higher - I've attached a gif below. Let me know what I'm doing wrong and I'll come back and rate it! Excited to play this.
My jump seems to be very low, and I'm experiencing frame drops in the browser. However, I like the visual style and the music quite a bit, and the fast-paced platforming seems fun. I'd love to play an updated version.
Cool platformer! However, as baldwinthree said, I had a very hard time trying to jump on the second platform.
@baldwinthree You’ve done nothing wrong, a complete accident on my part. I’ll look into what in the world I’ve done tomorrow. I’m so so sorry. If I can’t get it fixed I’ll have to take the game down sadly though.
@retrisma Thank you, yeah that’s a game breaking bug that I didn’t spot due to my powerful pc. I’ll try to fix that tomorrow. I’ll keep you updated. So sorry.

I think I'm missing something - I can't get past the first platform! Every now and then I can jump high enough to get _onto_ the platform but never away from it. Most of the time I just drown at the very bottom. It feels like there's a mechanic I'm not using that I accidentally hit once in a while, but I can't figure out what and there's so little time to experiment at the start! 😕
the game really needs coyote jumping, i cant seem to get past the first wall jump part.
@chameth It’s okay! There’s a game breaking bug to do with frame rate related issues that I’m going to fix soon I promise. I’ll be mentioning everyone that rated so far to come back when it’s done :)

If you set your page zoom to something really small, the framerate increases and you can do the jump, lol. Definitely a delta time issue.
I loved the idea! Controls are super great and intuitive! Game feels great to play, loved it!

Runs smoothly in the browser. Fun old skool style platforming. A tried concept but very well executed with minimal and pleasant graphics. Nice one!
Great presentation and visual polishes! It took me a few minutes before I figured out how to wall jump but I still couldn't get past the second platform. Still looks like a great game though.
