Great art style here!
Freakin beautifull
Lots of detail in the audio and visuals alike make this game feel really highly stylized and polished!
I loved the cute animations! Nice job!
Lovely colour palette, great job!
beautiful graphics, cohesion between art, music and mechanics, and a fun game to play! Nice work!
Fantastic colour choice accompanied by good music and gameplay great work!
This game looks and sounds amazing! The controls are tight, but the gameplay itself is a bit lacking. It felt like my actions made no difference whatsoever. I was able to launch the cannons once or twice per run and the difference was only a few seconds. I would've liked to be able to _delay the inevitable_ just a little bit more. I guess that fits the theme perfectly, though.
Awesome graphics and music!
I really enjoyed this game! The concept is great, the gameplay is really fluid, the art is beautiful as always and the soundtrack really fits.
My only feedback is that the time delay could be more noticeable and decrease as the game progresses. As it is, it doesn't feel like you can delay the inevitable much at all.
Anyway, congrats!!
Pretty pixel art, well polished. I liked everything except that little slime that can pop out of the meteors. It's very rare but too punishing imo.
@bottled-up-dark-peace I think if I had make it spawn more often, players would learn to be careful with it all the time, sadly I didn't think of that on time. But thanks a lot for playing!!
@juutis @borabee thank you so much you both. this jam was so rush that I didn't have much time to playtest and balance the game but I agree with what you said, I must take some time to update this when the rating time ends!
This was really fun! I really wish there was some other control for shoot with, though! Looks great and the music is enjoyable!
Awesome! Very appealing color palette, nice mood and (REALLY) impressive and polished graphics for 48 hours. I first didn't see the control explanation on the itch.io site, so a little in-game annotation that 'x' is for shooting would have made it perfect.
Very great work! May I ask which engine you used?
Great music and artstyle. Controls are punchy and responsive. Some in-game explanation for controls would have been a nice addition. Also, the player character sometimes just doesn't pick up the orbs from the meteor fragments, not sure why? All in all, great little game.
Very nice! Love the palette, awesome Game Boy Color vibes. Nice feedback, feels good to shoot stuff. The comet looks awesome when it's about to hit. Played a handful of times and really enjoyed it. Great entry!
Really polished entry. - Beautiful art style, loved the colour palette and animations - Was surprised by how intuitive the grab mechanic worked using the same button as shoot. It always seemed to behave the way I expected - really well done.
Only issue I had was the restart cutscene - it was great the first time but would have appreciated a faster restart.
Nice work :)
The art is very pretty, and the game is fun to play but I feel like it's a bit too challenging to win - the comet just always seems to land a bit before you've had time to fill all the cannons. I didn't find the slimes to be too bad after playing for a bit, though maybe a health system rather than instant death would have made it feel a bit less punishing. Overall though, very nice game - I had a lot of fun with it.
@fromage thank you for the feedback! there are 3 types of control have you noticed? arrow keys/Z/X, WASD/Spacebar/J and the gamepad. let me know if you you think it would be good to have some controls different than those
@joscco thank you for playing! I used Godot as the game engine I wanted to added some instructions in the beginning but as you may guess, I didn't have time for it haha
@haztro ooh yeah the cutscene was the last thing I implemented so it wasn't well done, I tried to make it as short as possible tho, to not be so annoying. Thank you for playing!
@edusilva Ugh, geez, I didn't! Works a lot better that way!
Very neat little game, simple and cohesive.
Love retro-styled graphics! :paintbrush:
I tried several times and the best I managed to survive was 87 seconds
A small recommendation from me: clouds on the background should also move from the left to the right (for example). Otherwise, they look too static.
Nice game. I like the movement of the character, squishy. The colors used was a nice touch. The sounds were well used too. Great job finishing a polished game for the jam!
Love the art style and music! My only feedback for improvement would be adding K as an additional jump button to go with the WASD and J control scheme.
This was very cool! A Really tight gameplay experience, love the way the character moved / shot and the waves of asteroids / enemeies :v:
We had a similar concept, but yours wins on execution hands down, super slick!
cute graphics, i was surprised the first time a monster came out of the astroid. after that though, it felt a bit too easy and boring, there was only ever one astroid at a time, and it was not at all challenging to pick them off, then pick the bugs off. i think having the astroid spawn rate increase over time would have felt more engaging, then just flat-ending the game with the big astroid.
also, sometimes a glowing thing pops out of the astroids, but i couldn't interact with them. what are they for?
i like the colors and character design and the movement dynamics felt solid.

Thanks for the game!
