Super jeu les mecs ! Vraiment fun à jouer, ça donne envie de rejouer à chaque fois qu'on meurt ! Musique au top et mécanique intéressante qui va bien dans le thème. Bon boulot ;)

Kick ass music and gameplay. I would have preferred if the monster corpses were slightly easier to see against the grey background. Mood was top.

Had fun playing this one! The biggest problems I see design-wise was that there is no reason to be NOT pressing the firing button and that there is no way to control the loss of space, making your demise inevitable. (there seems to be no win condition)

The game is so fun, and the most impressive part is that if you don't pick up the tool in time, it'll also become a stone lol

Later in the game it needs spatial planning… So maybe it's better to add a minimap?

I loved the "oh yeah!" commentary when picking up a power up haha. I would like to know how much a power up last...

@m-dam So cool you had fun ! Indeed there's no other solution than dying at some point, that's why we try making it "fun" to loose with the death screen

@dimlight Minimap, or maybe a smaller map ? Keeping it big makes it last longer and gives a good challenge for the few ones who will try hard ^^ But a minimap is not a bad idea

@toskokozlov Depending on the power up it's time or number of bullets that counts. Glad you had some fun !

Awesome game!, had some good fun. My biggest gripe was definitely the visuals. It was difficult to identify power ups and some of the main menu's interface because the images were too similar in brightness and saturation. It was also just not very appealing (sorry). That being said, everything else was pretty damn awesome. The music was really good, and fit the game perfectly. The relentless horde of enemies, and loss of space due to their littered dead bodies was fantastic. I also really appreciate the varying demons (size/functionality), kinda felt like "Doom Guy" :P. Wasn't a big fan of the dead corpses being pushed around by other demons, but it didn't interrupt the game too much, was just a minor annoyance.

I love how you avoid the powerup-hoarding problem by making unused powerups turn to stone (immovable stone, no less!) and by only allowing you to hold one at a time. However, I wish they all acted consistently, i.e. all took 1 left-trigger press to use instead of some of them being push-to-activate and some of them being hold-to-activate.

Bugs (other than the obvious bugs that are crawling all over the place: - sometimes a stone bug will move, I think it happens when a red one teleports in and I immediately shoot it - when I'm standing on a powerup and my current powerup runs out, I should pick up the one I'm standing on instead of having to walk away from it and come back

This is one of the most fun LD42 games I've played - it has a lot of potential! I hope you come up with a clever way to transform it from a "you will eventually die" 10-minute game into a bigger and longer experience!

Familar concept well executed. Had a lot of time playing this game. First of all i tended to go near the walls. But bugs spawned there - then I realised that the best thing to do is to stay in centre. Dont think this is a bug - just an observation.

I think this game was very well done. At first I thought the sound was annoying, but some of the little voices on dying etc were fun actually. I loved that the running out of space theme was implemented in the bug corpses. Overall this is a pretty solid accomplishment. Well done!

An entry I most willingly replayed so far. Inventiveness is not very high here, as everything done in this game has been done in other games before, but it is an example of an old recipe well done. And it sure became a lot more fun once I figured out the right click activates powerups. Bugs are very well drawn, sounds are great, and I especially love the floor tiles.

Nicely done pixel graphics, music fits in. Game works fine, it might be a simple shooter but I enjoyed playing it multiple times.
