Oh my heart 😭 Super cute game, I love it. It made me laugh how the agent was so talkative and we're not, when WE are supposed to be the author. I tried to tell her I was going to write Lord of the Rings but I kept mistyping, and it ended up being so goofy. Oh well, she liked it nonetheless πŸ˜‰ Great job!! lotr.png

I really liked this game. It was fun to play, and now I can quickly navigate on the keyboard. (ΛΆΛ†α—œΛ†Λ΅)

Very cute and creative!

This did a really good job of conveying the problems of being a tiny creature.

Amazing game, cool!

Really greate game. Small, but very cute. Not every game made on jam can tell an interesting story. And really make player part of this story. Interesting experiment from narrative design perspective. Also cute art!

What an adorable game! I absolutely loved it - something so bizarrely satisfying about moving these lil guys around my keyboard - i adore games that can give us a new perspective on something we are so used to. I can already tell I am going to be thinking about this every time I sit down to do game dev in the future. The art, sound, and story perfectly complemented the vibes. A great excuse to sit down and plunk away at my lovely keyboard which I so often forget. So cool! Great idea, well done. Screenshot 2024-10-18 115213.png

I love the idea!

Pretty much amazing visual aspects and innovative idea. Good job

the mechanic of moving on the keyboard with the actual keyboard keys is a super good idea. Could have done with speeding up the movement between keys, andd this could be a very neat mechanic to explore.

do3naut 2024-10-21 21:23

The concept is so innovative, using the actual keyboard to move around makes you feel the challenge of being small and forced to navigate a keyboard while not getting in the way of storytelling. Great game!

Cute! I love the design of the little guys. Very innovative idea. I tried to queue up key presses, which seemed to work for movement, but I couldn't seem to queue up actual typing presses.

Oh wow what a cool concept and it fits into the theme really nicely. As I've seen mentioned already it could be sped up a bit so I can quickly type the keys to move around. Overall I think this was a very successful entry, very well done!

I am surprised to say this, as I normally am not the biggest fan of typing games, but this one really is amazing and one of my favourite games of the jam! The way you turned it into a puzzle game and allowed the players to tell their own story (while coming up with good paths to the respective keys) was very nice. The only slightly problematic thing for me was the fact that my keyboard layout did not match the one in the game, which added an additional layer of complexity. But some adjustments later and I was still able to type like two tiny fantastic authors!

Really enjoyed your game, the art was good, loved the movement mechanic though I guess I'm not as good a typiest as I thought

joror 2024-10-23 18:52

Adorable! The mechanic is really unique~ slight wish there was a bit of a challenge to it... some timer or something. But the story is relaxed and neat. So all ok I would say! 🐭🐭

Aaawwwwww yay I loved this, and coming out as mice at the end with that lovely reception 🧑🧑🧑🧑 I'm a trans gal and can 100% relate to that challenge... Although I at least have an easier time typing than this :D

This was such a clever, unique way to explore a narrative, and fit the theme perfectly! Plus the whole thing is adorable af and I was surprised how well I got used to it!
