Fun entry! I agree there's a lot of potential here- stacking creatures on top of each other, other abilities, etc.
This did a really good job of conveying the problems of being a tiny creature.
I liked the art style and voice acting as well as the variety of different quests. I wasn't able to figure out the bomb beetle quest- when I dropped them near the scavenger fish it seemed like the bombs just passed through them.
This was really neat! I'll echo the suggest to push the button once or hold instead of having to mash to repair/refuel.
Very cute! When I played on controller the camera was drifting a bit- if the engine you're using has deadzone settings you might want to tweak those.
When I saw the theme I was hoping we'd get some games with Pikmin DNA.
Impressive work! One small bug I noticed- an enemy's sprite would disappear as soon as the attack that'd defeat them started resolving, before the message that actually said they were KOed would show up.
This was neat! It took me a few very short runs of failing immediately before I realized what was going on and how to get some starting Chloroplasts to not be immediately at a net loss of energy.
Once I did get established it was hard to tell when I was taking damage, so I could go negative and die without noticing what was going on. It would've helped to have some audio or visual feedback that something bad is happening.
@jamjamem I added the mark feature halfway through when I remembered that every time I played a game like this that didn't have that, I wished it did. :)
