Wow lots of cool little puzzles. You packed a lot into this a jam game. Nice job!

Wow lots of cool little puzzles. You packed a lot into this a jam game. Nice job!
I couldn't finish it, but it was a beautiful game, I really like it.It look like you put a lot of effort on it
I checked the credits and noticed the massive amount of game designers :D makes sense, this was a LOT of puzzles! Enjoyed it! The only thing that was left a little bit unclear maybe was the theme, but then I am too stupid for most puzzle games, hehe.
good puzzles. Im not sure if the music quite matches the feel of the art, overall pretty great though.
Nice Game!
Very nice and very hard puzzle. I can decide only one level =(
Couldn't finish it but it was pretty immersive..
I love these kinds of games, and your puzzles are inventive. I managed to unlock the ring and get to the younger man's area, but then I got stuck.
I LOVE these kinds of games but I have a major dislike of sound puzzles. I will try to finish it still. Otherwise thanks for this nice puzzle game.
(update) Yea there's no way I'll figure out the morse code.
We've been playing the game for a long time. It is interesting and enticing. We even needed paper to write down some of the data. But we still did not understand what happened all the same ?! What's this ending guys? :D Still, good work. Thanks for your game!
The ending hit me harder than I was expecting. Even though I should have expected. It was a great end - it awoke emotions (won't spoil, but you know :D). It hit hard and unexpected. Like the real thing.
The second things that awoke emotions in me was seeing the cat and knowing that it lived a long and hopefully happy life. I had a cat since I was 8... my cat is 19years old now, so seeing the in game cat grow slowly reminded me of all the good memories.
About the game - it's game of equal or maybe even better quality than similar games one can found online. The story is touching (or maybe I'm feeling emotional today?). And the puzzles are definitely great and well done (sometimes I got stuck but for no more than 3 minutes and once it was totally my mistake).
Considering this was done as a jam... extremely good job. You can put in online for other people to play and no one would guess it's a jam game.
Also, I liked the little details / changes when switching the timelines. It really felt like peeking in somebody's life.
@romana-kapustova Thank you for your message, it goes straight to my heart it's really nice to receive this kind of message!
@anaferus The story of the game is that a man has died, he no longer remembers his name (so no name on the grave), he will then remember his life, and go deeper and deeper into his memory to remember his name. Thanks for your feedback !
I
Thanks everyone for your comments and ratings !
The music helps to think within the game. Excellent work. I haven't been able to open the safe yet, but soon I will. Any tips? Beautiful art and gameplay. Congratulations!
@matheus-madtrilhas You can look the soluce on the itchio page :)
Im not really into logic/point and click games, altough this one looks really nice. Having some of the story explained at the start of the game would be really nice, so one could get even more interested into solving the puzzles
It is very good game, especially i liked the cube escape vibes
This was like a cool little escape room! I think I skipped a couple of the puzzles, or at least the one with the childhood bookshelf even though I knew where the answer was. The ending was a bit morbid, but it did get a chuckle out of me, so yay. The graphics were really nice to look at and the music matched the chill puzzle solving. Really well done, there isn't a think I would change honestly.
I would not let the slide puzzle defeat me! Nay I say to your skip, NAAAYY
Solid little point and click, and well made for the time. I had to go to the solution because I didn't notice I could click on the TV, of all things. Other than that though, I figured it out.
I think the audio at the middle level could have been a little softer. Some instruction on what was going on at the start of the game would have helped too.
Nice work!
Enjoyed the sliding puzzle, but I feel it lacked a sense of motivation, or at least a hook to make me want to dig into the mystery. Looks like a lot of work went in though! Great job :)
@squirmonkey I admit that a little more context would be nice at the beginning but to be honest none of us thought of that during the jam x). Maybe we'll work more on it but like you see we were kinda a lot so it's difficult to bring all those people together
Thanks for your comment ! And thanks everybody for your comments and ratings !
The puzzles here are really really brilliant! This is a really well done game :)
I think there's maybe two or three quality of life improvements that could be made that would take this to even the next level, such as adding in some user feedback on things like clicking the arrows between rooms.
Additionally, it's *really* good that you highlight what you can click on when mousing over something, but i think a better user experience would be giving the things you can click on a shader or something that changes colors even when you aren't mousing over it. I get how this could detract from the exploration of the game, but tbh i think the puzzle are a lot more interesting and i would rather be able to get directly into the puzzles without clicking on a ton of things every room to see what i can / can't interact with.
The only other thing is volume balancing- it was really startling when i opened the first safe because the sound was so much louder than the music. And when i changed houses between the dad to the son, it felt like it got a lot louder. That's really small and probably outside of the scope of a jam, but it goes a really really long way :)
Overall, incredible game. I love puzzles like these and the way you layed them out was really really clever (like the bugs for the safe code!!! really smart)
Finished ! It took me a long time to notice that I could move the television antennas (everything that I could interfact with was highlighted, except that, so I didn't really understood that).
That was a really good interpretation of the theme, finally a game that doesn't take the "deeper" part literally ! The puzzles and riddles were enjoyable, it remininded me of that Flash point-and-click games era, a decade ago, that was really cool !
The ending could have been an AWESOME plot-twist... If the main menu didn't spoil it ^^'.Too bad !
Oh, and the music that adapt to the timeline is a wonderful idea that adds SO MUCH to the ambiance <3.
Congrats !
This was definitely fun, felt like a solo escape room through time. I like that the puzzles crossed through, but honestly I couldn't figure some of them out. xD I will likely try this again later and be stubborn about it.
I really liked it, but a watched the video to finished it.
Wow!! That WAS deep. You took the "deeper and deeper" theme to a whole new level!!! Super unique art style, and super original idea. Congrats!
Really liked the game, very well planned in a short time!
I'm a escape & point and click puzzle fan, so I could figure out most of the game, but still got stuck in some minor bugs such as the clock puzzle (finding out the right spot of the pointers). Also, I solved the second TV puzzle easily on trial and error (maybe I was luck?), and the Zn puzzle I recurred to external "help" (if you know what I mean), but I got the impression that the game prevented me from moving on when I solved it before... I can be wrong tho. Maybe that "hint" should be more explicit or replaced! Still it didn't affect my experience.
Music and sounds were very nice, I liked the mood, specially the jazz theme! Although I think the volume between the musics and SFXs could have a little more balance - might be easy to work on it!
Great job!
@vitluke thank for your feedback !
Really fun art and puzzle design! I felt a little lost for a clue, even after applying some common escape room tactics, but other people seemed to get it haha. Still, really fun play. I will say the music's a little loud.
Lol could not solve it :( but really neat ideas there!
Cool Concept! I like the art style, Keep up the good work!
A little hard at first but once I got it I really enjoyed the game. Its evident a lot of work has been put in here. Thanks for the fun!
Thanks for a great game! Could be improved slightly with a puzzle notebook in game to keep track of hints :)
I love this hardcore puzzle game! Though it's a little bit too hardcore for me and I couldn't finish it.
Cool idea for the puzzles, it was fun bouncing around between the ages. I also liked the feeling of seeing a clue and knowing where I needed to use it because of a puzzle earlier. Great work!
@brielley Thanks for your feedbacks, there is the solution video on the itch.io page!
Oh i'm a sucker for a good old school puzzle/escape the room type game, and this one is veeeery well done, really liked the theme it had of visiting different life stages, the puzzles themselves are great, i love when morse code shows up, a bit of moon logic here and there but honestly it's what i like the most about these kind of games c: the art style is very well suited here, reminds me of the Rusty Lake saga but with it's own artistic identity, the sounds and music are also really good, and how each life moment has it's own soundtrack, fantastic job! I did notice though that when i clicked on a age to go to, if i clicked another before it loaded, it would load the second one i clicked, but the sounds would kinda overlap, not a gamebreaker by any means since i could just change ages again to fix it. I loved it a lot and would heavily recommend it to anyone looking for a cool puzzle game!
@vitor-milioni Thanks a lot for your feedbacks, we will try to see if we can fix that when we will have time, thats nice to have such good comments!
really impressing seeing a game like that made in so little time, it's really well done with some great art. Do have to agree with the people saying that it's a little hardcore but after some time I did manage to get most of the puzzles
@not-the-loading-screen I think its because making a perfect design under 3 days that isn't too easy or too hard is kinda a pain, we tried our best to balance it, but thanks for your feedbacks!
Found it to be challenging, really enjoyed the game! Music felt comfy. I'd say it would help for some interactables be more obviously clickable. Great game!
Cool puzzles! There was a lot to do! I liked when they went across different time periods. Nice work!
found it a little hard to get into, but its always nice to see new entries in the room escape genre. nice work for one weekend!
Love the idea, I'm sad can't finish all the puzzles T__T. Good job!
@ladycerberus There is a solution video on the itch.io page of the game! Thanks for the feedbacks :hearts:
Nice puzzle game. Did not pass it yet.
Pfft, that abrupt ending tone shift.
Aside from the puzzle with the bugs (I just couldn't figure out what order to do the numbers), I didn't need to look up the solutions.
I couldn't figure out the puzzle with the clock hands. Some of the information we were given, such as the time and the periodic table, was unnecessary, since I was able to complete the game without using those elements. Perhaps they were meant to be important, but weren't implemented.
Figuring out the final puzzle with the weather was very satisfying! I only wish I could figure out what this all had to do with the theme. Were the three people related?
@carraka our game is a little puzzle game about the life of a man that doesn't remember who is he. Travel through different ages of his life to find out his name. The end come after you finaly find your name, maybe we should have explained more at the beginning of the game and softened the end, but we were taken by the time and had to quickly finish these parts
That was a very lovely game with neat puzzles, great immersive theme and time travel! Most of the puzzles were very challenging for me but I love the clean, intuitive UI and the art style. Makes sense that you guys had three dedicated artists, it definitely reflects in the quality of the end product. Great job overall :D
@aditya-dave Thank you a lot for the feedbacks! We're happy you enjoyed it
This was a fun little puzzle game, it was really satisfying to solve most of them and you gave great hints! My only gripe is the morse code bit, I found it really hard to differentiate the short and long beeps and had to go to the walkthrough -- perhaps if the lights flashed at the same time that the noise was played it would make the letters more clear.
@loginaut Yeah we noticed it was hard for people to pass the morse code, we feel sorry about that, i hope you still enjoyed the game! Thanks a lot for your feedbacks
nice puzzles, I enjoyed playing your game! However, it might be good idea to add a spoiler.txt file and give hint about some of the puzzles in case somebody got stucked.
@behdad There is the solution on the itch.io page! But thanks for your feedbacks
Странные комнаты, чьи-то воспоминания, забытые отношения... Всё сильно преломляется в водовороте времени, что-то тонет, что-то остается. Хвала квестам. Хорошая игра.
Pretty tricky! I'm rather dense so I didn't solve more than one or two puzzles, but the mood is great
I just couldn't stop until I was through.. took me longer than I'd like to admin.... wrecked my brain the longest with the periodic table on the chest.. I saw the obvious clue in the TV but just couldn't get the order straight (thinking I already tried it). Loved it very much.
@xparker Thank you for the feedback, we are happy you enjoyed it!
What a great game! Love it. I was so sure the morse code is hidden in the music, so I kept listening to the beat :D Music is also great. I am not sure about the theme though.
@0mbre @mayzhy @nyanpierre - I love mystery. This was awesome. The mood. The music and piecing together the clues. Very good game.
@omg-blackbeard Thank you a lot for your feedback, we appreciate it!
Very nice game, with a great mood. Thank you
Intriguing game! I'm terrible at this kind of thing so didn't unlock much...did get the safe open but that is about it. Very nice.
remind me of rusty lake. art and music are perfectly fitting
That was a really well designed game. Even though it's frustrating at times, not because of the game, but my low intelligence , It was really fun to connect the different pieces together. Good job.
Nice riddle :P I like it :P
Really enjoyed this. I did find it useful for me to pull up the morse code and periodic table on separate tabs to make it easier. All the mechanics and puzzles worked great and you can tell there was thought put into it. Great job.
such a sweet & cute puzzle game! I'm happy that i found it and had the chance to play it. I've truly enjoyed playing :) The illustations are fantastic and i can tell that you've put a lot of work in this.. well done guys, great job!
That was a fun game. I have nothing bad to say.
@kaminos Thank you a lot, it make us so happy to see that people enjoy it !
So... all gamedevs are dead? I enjoyed the music, especially 2nd song!
Very cool concept!
I didn't understood that I could move the TV antennas, maybe if there was static on the screen I would have tried, because to me the TV was turned off. I had trouble with the Morse code, I only got the 2 letters correct, but I always have difficulty when it comes to listening to specific sound (like recognizing pitch).
@exewin I guess we died from working too much during the weekend
Congratulations on the game, you know something I like in life and it's called puzzle, because it portrays life well "we all have problems, let's focus on solutions", I really liked that I believe that in this case it could be less and worked more mechanically, because as it is an observation game the player keeps noticing everything, which in games that have action these errors go unnoticed, the surprise and discovery factor are very cool, I want to see the future evolution of the game, a big hug to everyone, and I await your evaluations regarding my game.
Now I finished! so satisfying challenge. Thanks for this clever puzzles, I love to play it!
Ohhh how I like this kind of game! Couldn't stop playing!
And I loved the music and the variations for each scenario!! Well done!
Nice game with good music! I only managed to solve a couple of puzzles. I like the concept, but I thought the puzzles were quite difficult. Others seemed to have figured them out, so I guess I'm the one with a problem. :D
Nice puzzle game! It's great how the different ages have information that helps with the others. I'm not a fan of all the different art styles mixed together, but I do like the transition when you go to a different age.
Nice, love the different little puzzles and the buzz of connecting clues to the puzzles. Graphics are nice, audio a little annoying after a while. Great entry!
Nice jam. A bit feedback from my actions would be nice. The music is relaxing and the graphics are nice. Challenges are great!
I did not make it to the end, but really enjoyed playing. I was probably putting too much thought into some of the puzzles and others were easy for me. Nicely done.
Nice! Reminds me of an escape room. I got 8631 for the safe code, was that not correct? I did the number of the bugs from left to right... clicking the dial didn't do anything
@ultimatewalrus I invite you to look at the soluce video on the itchio page ^^
Great work! The music is nice and adds a lot to the mood. I'm horrible at puzzles so I didn't get very far but it's cool to see a game like this in the jam. It's a unique approach to the theme as well. Well done!
The game was a little bit sad, but I like enigmas. The art and music are fine, and the enigmas are challenging. Well done on your game :)
@youhou @pnkvrt Thanks a lot for your feedbacks!
This is a great game. I really enjoyed the puzzles. I don't think, I would be able to come up with all of that in 72 hours tbh :joy:
Some puzzles drove me nuts, but I was unable to let go until I got the Name.
I loved the music, graphics and overall style. I will definitely send the Link of the game to some friends. Keep up the good work.
@ultimatewalrus I assume, you ment the first safe? Try a different order.
**Hint**: try reading the page "as intended" (direct answer, articles, knowledge graph)
@wr4thon Thank you a lot for your feedbacks! It make us really happy to see you enjoyed it! We tried our best!
nice puzzle
Ah, this takes me back to the days of flash escape room games. Solid puzzles, although most of the combo lock puzzles are easily brute forced once you figure out the numbers/letters to use. Had to resort to that a few times when the order wasn't clear to me.
I know the MC was dead before the game started, but the abrupt end made it look like he died from shock after learning his name lol.
great puzzles it was fun to play
It was fun to solve! Just the right amount challenging enough not to bore but not frustrating to discourage. Perfect. I liked the clues scattered all around different time frames. I especially enjoyed the weather code idea - that was quite unique!
The music is good for a puzzle game. Slow and unintrusive but with a bit of a mystery edge to it. I liked it.
I'm split on the graphics. It's not very consistent and mixes styles to a varied effect. On one hand, we have drawn elements (like portraits, doors, cats and so on) and on the other those textures from a completely different style (like some wallpapers, fire, wood here and there and so on). I think those two do not mix together well and create a bit of a graphical mess.
That did not stop me from enjoying the game though  Well done!
So many little puzzles, my brain hurts! Great entry!!
Nice job. Still working through some parts. I like the changes through time. Neat idea for a room escape. Same room different time.
I usually do not play puzzle games, so when I got stuck at morse code puzzle and then periodic table, it started to become not fun. Graphics and music were okay. Pretty cool ideas, going into different timelines to figure out puzzles and lots of puzzles.
Waw great game !
Lovely game, the visuals and music are really nice, and the puzzles are really nice. The thing is some puzzles have less clues, like the periodic table one, the box don't have any other indicator other then the Ve / V symbol (dont remember which one), in the end i sort by atomic weight and it worked. That's it really, awesome game overall :)
So many puzzles! That's really impressive for a jam game, really enjoyed it! Great work, loads of depth to explore here.
What a fun game! The puzzles are very challenging and cool to solve. I really like the music and the graphics. The point and click gameplay is very comfortable. Congratulations.
Pretty cool! I liked that clickable objects had a visual effect and that combination locks had an icon indicating which puzzle elements corresponded to this lock.
I ended up taking notes while I was playing because there were so many clues - and it worked out well since I had the clues ready when I needed them :) The difficulty seemed pretty good. For a couple puzzles I was confused initially but I just had to come back to them later after I had the missing clue.
I have such a hard time listening to audio versions of morse code :( but I did manage to do it anyways (with a bit of trial and error for the last letter).
I don't know if rearranging the books in the bookshelf did anything. I tried a bunch of different orders.
This game was really cool! I stuck with the game and finished it in the end. The difficulty of the puzzles was perfect for me.
Even though I couldn't solve some puzzles, I got to the end of the game. I have mixed feelings about it: the player doesn't get stuck, but also doesn't get to experience the whole game. But I think that it's more good than bad.
I would also appreciate highlighting of some sort on the clickable items to differentiate them from the non-interactive environment.
I also want to talk about the arrows on the letters and numbers on the code locks. Perhaps you could make the clicking hitbox a little bigger? As I've mentioned, I was able to finish the game, but this little upgrade would make the experience a little smoother.
The last code lock was very well thought out. I love the idea of large and small scope puzzles: some that are with you the whole game and some that are small puzzles contained within themselves.
Music is OK. It fits together with the style, that is what matters the most.
The art style is fine, but as was mentioned here in the comments before, there were elements that don't go well together, such as the photo on the computer in the beginning. I didn't find this to be very intrusive, but some people might.
At the end, I was a bit confused about the story. The ending didn't make much sense to me.
All put together, this is a very nice game, I would like to play more of it!
Cool game! Solved the first puzzle, and got stuck on the second
Love escape rooms! Sadly I do not have enough time today (it is hard to spend more than 30 minutes per jam game when you need to review 20 games or so ). Will give it another try soon!
Here is my attempt:
https://youtu.be/Jf3_YFLczXk
Cool game! Nice music! I could keep playing for hours
Great take on the theme! I found the length of this game to be just right (I didn't time myself but it felt like it took around 10 minutes).
I will say that I ended up brute forcing one puzzle (the critter one) and accidentally solving another (the chemical elements one, I hadn't even found the periodic table yet). My only suggestion would be to make it harder to brute force/accidentally solve puzzles.
Overall, loved it!
It's really a nice game, with plenty of interesting moments and actions. And talking about names, and how hard it can be when you're trying to create three or four different names for your potential new characters, it really reminds me those moments back when I was playing Dungeons and Dragons and have been using [aasimar name generator](https://generator1.net/dnd/aasimar-name-generator/) for my needs that I've mentioned. It's pretty helpful website I gotta say.
