Nice one! Not bad for a first jam!

Nice one! Not bad for a first jam!
Love the art style, your aesthetic is so great, the combination of all elements creats a comfortable feeling!
I think you can use just one key to interact instead of using E and F, just by using bool value to judge if is holding the dog.
Congratz on your first jam. Maybe you should add some obstacles to make the game a little more difficult.
This is a cool take on the theme. I really liked the artwork.
Love the art, and the idea is very on theme.
In my play through all customers wanted any of the dogs, I think adding in a small amount of randomness on which dogs are wanted would really improve the game.
also maybe a slightly wider camera view, the player sort of left the screen when walking over to the dog for me. A smooth camera follow would be amazing, but just a bit wider view so you don't go out side the view would dramatically improve the feel of the game!
over all great job for your first jam!
Nice and chill
Nice, short and simple - that's how a jam game should be. Surely - there is room to grow but the foundation is solid.
I agree with all above, very cute and chill with room for growth. You've got an excellent foundation for both art and game, you should keep adding to this!
bit too simplistic, add another dimension i would say to raise the mental engagement level
Kind games are my favorite. I like how cozy and warm artstyle is, as well as theme. Thanks for the game, best of luck!
I really like the sweet idea of finding new homes for the dogs, it is so heartwarming! <3 Graphics are nice, I loved the background and dogs faces. The only things I would like to mention: 1) maybe show which dog I have when it is already in a carrier, 2) the game worked fine but the screen clearly didn't fit in full, it would be great to do something about that >_<
Congrats for your first game :raised_hands:
Gameplay is a bit lacking. I can see what you wanted to achieve, like a customer wanting a specific race. Did you missed time? Haha… Get used to it, it happens every time.
IMHO, movement is not a good mechanic. This could have worked exactly the same without WASD movements but more like a management game with mouse controls.
The art is charming, but maybe having entire characters instead of bodyless heads would make it nicer!
Great job!
