Fun game! But twice I found myself resource starved and had a game over. I think more visual or auditive clues would have enhanced the gameplay. Also buttons or keyboard shortcuts for a faster gameplay.

Nice shooting action! I had the same problem with big bug boy, maybe you could add a hint of some sort to show that he is taking damage, a red blink or little animation.
