Just a heads up, I'm getting a 404 on the download link.
I'm also getting a 404 page.
The same here, maybe the page is still as Draft?
Whoops, that's what I get for making the page after being up for 24 hours, Should work now. Thanks guys
It is a quick and fun way to break your monitor, I love the art style and the concept was simple and well executed. Everytime I fell I knew it was because of me and not your game, but I am still going to blame you lmao
Big "Getting Over It" vibes, obviously. Didn't make it through, called it quits partway through the section introducing the green blocks.
There are some falls that I think veer more towards "unnecessarily tedious" than Getting Over It ever does, but overall a good game jam version of evoking the same vibes.
@spudboy I am thinking the main fall in question would be the first fall once the green blocks are introduced. That one is too tedious to recover from I agree. I'll make the path back faster
:) Cool game! I really like the mechanic. Good concept! Fun to play.
Beautiful game. Looks and plays great. I actually would suggest doubling the speed of the game, or allowing the user to hold space to speed it up - theres no reactions in this game, so you can make it as fast as you want. It was funny when I fell down a giant pit, but I didn't have it in me to climb my way all the way back up. Well done!
Love the style and game feel! Every fall I had only myself to blame. The trail effect looks a little off compared to the crunchy pixel style of the rest of the art though.
@pbg doubling sounds like a bit much to me, but I do think you're onto something. I'll try speeding things up a bit and see if that plays better. thanks for the tip
@irwatts I just tried using a more pixelated trail and you were right, looks a lot better. Thanks for the idea
Really like the game it was a lot of fun and I do like the art style a lot cant wait to see what it goes
Very much liked this one! It has the same vibe as Getting Over It, and it plays extremely well. I like how it's both forgiving with sticky mechanics but still punishing for big mistakes.
Amazing balance, huge props from me!
The squiggly graphics, no music, and the gameplay combined are oddly hypnotic.
All y'all are too sweet. Glad you enjoyed my game
This was really fun! The jumping and level was well tuned. I noticed that there were some platforms in positions to catch the player so the player doesn't fall too far. That's some pretty thoughtful level design. Though, I'd fall from the catch sometimes and fall further...
I had a lot of fun! Really nice game. I see the potential of being a rage game, every fall I was blaming myself ahahahaha
The style of the game is really good, I like it. Great job!
It didn't take long for me to rage a bit but I think that was the point lol. I like the art style and level design, and I'm glad to hear you're going to keep working on it post jam!
This game makes me want to break things. Simple but effective art style. I gave up shortly after the introduction of the green blocks as well because I have to go cook dinner now and I can't wait 18 hours until I finally beat your game. Good job xD
Отличная прыгательная игра. Шарики, шарики, шарики... Прыг-прыг-прыг. Ура!
Nice simple game and much to play. Nice creation to Compo! Graphics would be more detailed, but while all been animated the world still seems interesting. There would be more guides for the game play and for items. Falling down after 3 minute game play back to bottom is not balanced. There could be some checkpoints too and the game map to follow the game process and the directions.
That was very fun to play! The art style was simple, but effective and I am a huge fan of these types of animations which make the game feel more alive. I would add some "tutorial" text at the beginning of the game though, I did not know what to do immediately (but figured it out pretty quickly).
I really like the art style! Addictive and quite difficult. Audio would've really improved the experience, though.
Good work! :)
ARGHHHHHH I hate it so much! I'm quite bad at these games lol
I love the aesthetic which somehow made it just a bit more rage inducing. Like, everything is just so cute and cuddly looking but I just fell back to the start of the level and I'm ready to pull my hair out.
I was trying to think of where this fit into the Unstable theme when I realized that it was the player who becomes unstable.
Super good job!
No web no play.
A super unique art style here! I think only having pops when you jump adds to that feeling, though I think a bit of music could have gone a long way as well. Like others have noted, it's a bit frustrating to have to fall and go back up, but still a fun small game!
