Nice game dude
NICE pixel art
always a fan of nice pixel art :3 !
Samurai Simon. Good art and effects. All them keys make it hard to get past 10.
I really enjoyed this, great art/animations, good soundtrack, fits the theme of the jam. The only thing I can criticize is that, for me, personally, I had to focus on either the beautiful art, or the gameplay -> what buttons I push. Though, as I said, maybe that's just me.
Didn't get past 8 :D
@danmanngames @timotheus-25 @cortexdeveloper @nillard @ollec thanks for feedback dudes
@ollec not so long ago we understood that we did 2fast increasing complexity
Great concept, the indication could be a little clearer and more visible, also a short break after each enemy would be nice.
Awesome pixel art, loved the gameplay (gets really hard past 7 xD)
Good luck mate!
Nice intro setting the mood with good music and awesome pixel art! Gameplay is intuitive and responsive and a cool take on the theme! Good job.
Fantastic game! I loved the graphics and sound effects. It felt very satisfying to get a combination correct. Great work!
At first it was difficult to notice which keys to press, but I quickly got used to that. Perhaps a slightly flashier effect would've been better. Also I might not've noticed but there is no option to exit the game (I've tried pretty much all the keys and there is no button that says exit/quit). I really like the art and animations and the game is actually really fun to play.
Satisfying to pull off! Also love the pixelart, nice entry :)
Really love it :) Nice graphics, if i may point a problem, it would that the letters to hit could be more bright
Hentai Dude : > Slicin' haters with my blade, ronin wit the code, though They call me Mugen, put my flow up on the rhyme Disintegratin' my enemies, my way of samurai"
I love the idea. Same as above though. I would also say that a music would be welcome. Something that could enhance the atmosphere. The concept reminds me of Final Fantasy IX when you have to pretend fighting with Frank during the theater performance. Good job !
Great game! My favorite part is the animation and sound effect that plays when you slash through the enemies. It feels so satisfying!
I think the game would work really well with some Japanese style music. And it would be nice if there are some twists like different kinds of enemies (some kinds you have to input the commands in reverse, etc.) and bosses.
I think this game has great potential!
The artstyle is nice. And the button memorization gameplay fits very nicely with the samurai aesthetic. Overall, Nice.
Great game. Could you please make a AZER QSDF version for AZERTY keyboard. (tips for user like me you can use shift+alt in windows10 to switch). Please can you add some Japanese traditional music like here https://www.jamendo.com/playlist/186391/traditional-japanese (RoyaltyFree)
Beautiful game!
Cool upgrade for typical memory game. Cool graphic and mood. I haven't seen any better made game yet (but i haven't seen to much of them ;) ) Well done.
I like it! The art is great. Got 14 kills.
Somewhat addicting. Cool graphics and sword sounds. Maybe decrease the input time after a while to add even more difficulty?
Nice pixel art and enjoyable, albeit not particularly innovative, game-play. Sound effects are top notch and really elevate the game.
@nihilist yeah, u're right, we have troubles with this and understood it 2late, in 1 week we added post-jam build where fix it
@pedro-henrique-cesar thanks, man, your "Tower of mana" is cool too. I like concept. How do u think, mb u should start "freezing" when player start moving and near first first more slowly freeze?
@jlindell thank you
well done, nice game.
Really had a hard time understanding when to press what. But then it turned out to be a fun game. Live the theme and graphics. Nice job.
Really cool game ! I first did not understand when i was supposed to press the buttons, but then it turned out to be very nice to play. Graphics are really cool as well :) Good game ! (Made a score of 14)
The gameplay was simple but very rewarding, like others I also had difficulty focusing on the art since all my focus went on memorizing the correct buttons and following the sequence. Overall I very much enjoyed the game :3

LostSakura_Windows_x64_2017-12-06_17-32-07.png Pretty good, u should change color for some elements to make better vision of them.
Well done sir.
13 kills :3
Nice game!. The graphics were beautiful, and the slashing sounds were very rewarding. At the beginning I got the impression that sometimes the letters weren't being highlighted although I could here the sound and notice a small motion, perhaps that part bugged occasionally.
Great entry!

Nice progression on the difficulty and a well polished game!
high.png Cool game. I really liked the graphics.
This was very original. Plus I totally love the graphics. Good job. I scored 12 :)

This is a very cool game! I had a lot of fun  I couldn't get a score higher than 12... ldjam40.png
I love the idea and the execution. I would have preferred if the keys were spread out across something more common (and two handed) like Arrow Keys and WASD for example. The current layout makes it very fiddly, but I guess that is by design? It is really challenging and fun the way it is though.
Overall, I had a lot of fun and found myself restarting again and again. I could never get past 11 though...
Very nice small game. Nothing new but decently crated. Good job! Can't say that fits theme 100% though :)
Very interesing idea! I liked the graphics a lot! Good job! :D
Right next to first place!! [Ludum dare 40 12_25_2017 1_00_19 PM.png](///raw/c08/11/z/ebd0.png)
