Classic idea, nice designs. Could have been a bit more zoomed out, as it stands, every jump is a leap of faith.

Controls are a little sluggish, and as regularjohn4 says, it is a little too zoomed in so I can't see where I am jumping.

I like the 2D play with a 3D artstyle, but as already mentioned by others, it needs to be zooed out more. Maybe speed up the movement aswell, the controls could be a little cleaner. The octopus with the mustache is a big plus! :D
Also, adding some brighter background would greatly improve the ambience of the game I think :)
I found a bug (maybe?). I deposited the first coin then collected another two, but died at the pink old man. When it restarted, I had 1 coin stored and 0 with me, but my jump height was cut by half (or less).
Now about the game: Movement could use some speed. I like the style you used (voxels are cool)! The concept is also nice.

Nice character graphics. Gameplay wise is really simple, and could use with some faster movement and a more zoomed out camera. I hope yo keep working on it and make it even better :)
Great idea with the weight system, turns it into a puzzle a bit The music wasn't looping properly and was annoying but I really enjoyed the game, could make a whole game based on this concept.
A little but buggy, but i like the graphics!
