Very nice game. It felt very polished and I didn't experience any bugs or glitches. My one issue is that it opened in a window that took up a quarter of my screen and I kept accidentally clicking off it instead of shooting and I couldn't resize it. I don't know what you used to make this, but if you could just have it go fullscreen that would be a big improvement. Overall though thought it was very fun, looked nice, and had some fitting and well made soundtrack.
Makes the player want to get further to see what they unlock next. Good graphics and music for a jam game. The bigger enemies seem to get stuck on corners often. Great presentation of info to the player with the cooldown bars and tab screen.
Nice graphics, music and dialogue. The dialogue overlay ended up in the wrong place in the high-res build for Mac. Enjoyed playing the game for a few attack waves. The custom key assignment for powerups felt a bit awkward, would have preferred predefined keys. Well done.
I liked it, my only gripe was to maybe make the keys reassignable? But other than that very small bit, the game was great! The dialogue at the start was nice, and I definitely wanted to progress to see what other monsters/attacks I could get, the ghosts sounds creeped me out loads which made me just want to search them out and kill them.
Also I think I put down too many warp portals :D I was getting an error in the console too: ``` ERROR: SpatialSound2DServerSW::update: Invalid mix rate for voice (0) check for invalid pitch_scale param. At: servers\spatial_sound_2d\spatial_sound_2d_server_sw.cpp:949 ```
Had fun with this one! Constant unlocks, enemies and character art/comments kept some momentum behind the progression.

We've just uploaded a minimal bugfix patch which will hopefully allow more of you to properly enjoy the game.
@gnarly-narwhal, we've added an option to toggle between windowed and fullscreen mode (F10 button), besides the possiblity to resize the window itself.
@nillard, the enemy collisions should be working now for the bigger ones too. Your report was much appreciated.
@elemel, we did not have a Mac system to test this new patched version, but maybe it is fixed now.
Anyone with a MacOS can confirm whether the overlay misplacement bug persists?
@james-studd, that console error is an issue in the game engine we used (Godot 2.1). Nothing much we can do about it that we know of =(

Really awesome game, I love the little character portraits and all the abilities and such. Really great work!
I really liked this game. I had a ton of fun playing it, and thought that the progression was super cool. All the weapons were unique and I loved unlocking them. My one gripe is that if you try to spam the default weapon it makes an error sound while it's recharging which a little annoying, but it really isn't much in what I thought was a fantastic game!
This was fun! I made it about 14 waves before I panicked my way through a dozen warps and got myself killed. Great variety of mechanics though!
Nice game. The graphics were really good for the time you had and the music is great, it sure reminds of the old school video games.
Very nice game, very complete and has a lot of content, although, the charger enemy never did appear for me :C, also i felt it a bit to easy, but very nice! Loved the music
Well you certainly accomplished a lot in such a little time. Only thing I would say you needa work on is the GUI, things like loading bars and context menus, as it wasn't very pretty. Otherwise the game was very impressive. Good job.
Competent top down shooter: a solid chunk of content, nice audiovisuals, ok gameplay, but also sundry problems.
The Linux version works great, although the first time around I shot a knight with a tracer and it crashed the program. Didn't use tracers after that. Having an option for mouse or keyboard aiming is a good addition. Then again why not just have them both on at the same time. There is no need for a menu option.
The idea of binding keys to upgrades is neat, but not being able to rebind them later does cause issues: there is no way of knowing how many upgrades there are in total and which ones I actually like using before trying them so in the end I had many useful keys tied to abilities I didn't care for. I guess that is thematic, yet I'd advice against it. Being able to use the modifier keys (shift, control, alt) as bindings would have been great too, for the dodge move especially.
My second run ended on wave 15 and it felt cheap. You see, the enemy hitboxes are weird. Sometimes I could brush past them in a corridor, other times not. In this particular case a ghost hit me twice in a matter of milliseconds and it wasn't even close (or so it seemed!) There is other jank in the enemy implementation too. Their pathfinding bugs out occasionally getting stuck on walls or constantly changing directions when I move just a few steps in one direction basically rendering them sitting ducks for my attacks.
The skills! Most of them work. The teleporter is weird and more of a hazard for you than the enemies. Also frustrating as you cannot undo the connections afterwards. I would not have used it had I played a third time. The reason for not playing again is the slow pace of progression. Reducing the downtime between waves, faster enemies and a smaller map would have helped there. Increased content unlocking rate would be fine too, just throw in a new enemy/upgrade after each wave. It is a jam entry, it should be fast to play through.
Ok, that is about all this time. I approve of your work, don't get me wrong. Unfortunately there are many small issues which drag the experience down a few notches.

Good job, the game is good polishing, but the controlling and ui is still quite confusing, i've no idea what's the green knob is on the right of the screen, plus i've no idea how to setup the key for using skill firstly and barely quit the game in frustration
The first time I finished reading the help, I clicked quit button and it quit... Maybe that should be a back button. It's a game feels like my favorite retro adventure rpg. I love it. The combat are hardcore and it surprises me that the various enemies and abilities are completed in two or three days. Very good job. There aare so many keys to remember however, though we have a TAB menu but we can't change them? Maybe a pause menu with key editing could help. Moreover maybe we can do a switch key that I can switch between three weapons by just pressing one key. After all this is an excellent job.

Very nice take on the theme, at the end you have to remember all your suboptimal controls and... it is player's fault if it is suboptimal! The rest of the game is also captivating, there is nothing clear to improve (except maybe the segfault)

A very solid entry: excellent gameplay and powerup progression, as well as humorous dialogue. Got a bit stuck on corners from time to time, but that was a minor issue. Overall great job!
