Loved jumping platform to platform while feeling like a ninja as I whapped enemies out of the air. I felt like Genji from Overwatch but without the toxic teammates. Took me almost half an hour but I finally got 51/51 coins. Random voice quips would definitely help them feel less repetitive. Also the enemy death sounds kinda seem like they are cut off. If you add the AudioStreamPlayer to the level on death, then you can despawn the enemies without cutting off the audio, then simply set the audio to free on the stream ending. Also changing the timer to minutes + seconds would be a nice change. Overall had a ton of fun trying to beat the game with all the coins.

The curved floor is such a cool idea!

Spring Tale by Random-storykeeper 2021-04-27T06:43:46Z

When I first saw the screenshots my expectations were low. But the second I started playing I feel in love with the cute little bugs and catchy music. I love how the art style brings it alive. Of course the game could do with some polish here and there (pause menu, level select, etc) but hey, it's a game jam. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it :)

into the cabal by profan 2021-04-27T20:16:53Z

Didn't make it past the maze but I loved the models and general aesthetic of the game. Could definitely benefit from the suggestions mentioned already. Props to you though for making a 3D game with such a polished aesthetic in 72 hours :)

Deepest Sword by Strega 2021-04-27T18:22:19Z

It says something that literally my only complaint is not being able to increase the volume.

Dome Romantik by Rongo Matane 2021-04-28T23:52:10Z

Loved the minimalism in both the art and the controls. I think the tech upgrades might've been better a visual tech tree so you could see past and future upgrades. The SFX felt a bit blunt in some aspects, such as the monster death sound. I think if the combat system was made more dynamic, the tech tree was expanded, and some story added throughout, this would make a great game to put on Steam! Amazing experience overall.

Descendants by AndideBob 2021-04-27T19:02:33Z

The atmosphere of the game was great. Really enjoyed the final LOTR Moria feel to it. The zoomed out aspect of the game was a bit tricky to play with, but also I think it being zoomed out added a lot to the atmosphere.

Bunny Bunny Dig Dig by ZakAmana 2021-04-27T19:16:42Z

Amazing accomplishment in the time given. Repeatedly pressing keys to mine got a bit tiring after a few minutes, so being able to hold the keys, or even press space bar to repeat the last direction, could be a nice feature to add. Once again, an insanely polished game to make in so little time.

Makes me want to build a factory game! It's impressive that you got all the conveyors belts and everything working so well in the given time. Part of the reason I enjoy it so much is nostalgia for Lego Mars Missions which I played as a kid. Anyways, great job with the game!

The Wreck of the S.S. Adventure by Arcling 2021-04-27T17:50:27Z

The controls felt rather difficult and the intro could definitely be sped up, but the submarine art was cute :)

Ballast by Ekoxe 2021-04-27T23:12:34Z

Stressful but in a very fun way. I agree with the first comment that I wish there was some way to release water that has built up. Overall though I had a blast playing it.

Tin Mining by rubenwardy 2021-04-27T22:36:33Z

AI worked surprisingly well. Almost feels like it could be an animated wallpaper.

No one is here by civilianzero 2021-04-27T23:03:03Z

Enjoyed the graphics, especially the torpedo explosion animation. Well done in the regard. The audio didn't seem to work for the browser version but I downloaded it and it worked fine. The controls felt a bit weird at first, I would've liked to have the torpedo key be Q or a mouse click, as it felt a bit awkward having the key be above WASD. Great atmosphere though :)

Aquanomicon by Briibot 2021-04-27T07:09:59Z

The art and concept were great, but the game felt quite difficult. Changing the mouse cursor on something that could be picked up would help, as well as maybe a restart option and having the messages at the bottom persist for longer. Would also prefer dragging the ingredients to the recipe. Still enjoyed it none-the-less.

Rabbit Rappel by MatterLinx 2021-04-27T06:24:33Z

Art and music was amazing. The platforming movement felt clunky and unnecessarily difficult. Not sure if I missed something but having to restart all the way back each time felt frustrating. Could also use a tutorial or at least a more gentle difficulty curve. The atmosphere and lighting was 10/10 though.

Egress by SirDuck 2021-04-27T20:07:43Z

@profan We wish we had more time to balance the game, but we submitted with like less than 2 minutes left. The colors don't have an impact, but breaker, wall, and hybrid form kind of a game of rock-paper-scissors. Happy to see a fellow Godot developer, let me know if you have any questions about the development!

@jackbad Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for the great feedback! We will definitely keep that in mind if we end up expanding the game :)

@villanelle Thanks so much for the kind words!

@annie-owl So glad you enjoyed it!

@lighty-the-light I wrote a function that adds a string to a text box, and a function to add a string character by character to a text box, then used a combination of those and delay timers to create the effect. For the SFX I recorded myself typing on my keyboard and then adjusted the timing so it roughly matches the text.

Egress by SirDuck 2021-04-29T23:19:57Z

@themorfeus We are definitely considering it! We would want to flush out the game and fix all of the shortcomings that came from the time limit. If you join our Discord (https://www.discord.gg/z4kbnqb) you will be the first to know if we do :)

Egress by SirDuck 2021-04-30T23:07:02Z

@cinsynate So glad you enjoyed it! We are with on wishing there was more strategy to winning. We got rushed towards the end and we weren't able to polish the game balance as much as we would've liked to.

Abisal by itssoisi 2021-04-27T22:43:33Z

The perspective was so creative. Loved the art and music. Very atmospheric.

Octopus Dive by JedeMac 2021-04-27T06:15:09Z

Loved the music and general atmosphere of the game. Plus, I learned some cool octopus facts! The UI could use some polish. I would love to see what you could come up with given more time!

The art was cool, the music was chill, the level design felt a bit rushed (as it often is during a jam haha) and I got stuck in a hole, but it was a cool idea and was fun to explore :)
