Would be great to see more levels. I was a little confused when two people spawned at the beginning.
Amazing art. Fun gameplay. Good Job! One suggestion is to have the "suspicion" oriented better.
I like the brain teaser gameplay. It's definitely not easy and I like that a lot. I would have likes there to be more engaging gameplay for the drill half, but the player half was well done for this time frame.
I liked the skeletal animations on the dolphin - that was well done. I really liked the blobfish and the anglerfish even more. I wasn't driven by the gameplay as much as I was interested in seeing the different fishes.
Great ambiance. The art is seriously well done - no awesome... no.. amazing.. Holy crap it's so good. I love the climbing mechanic , you can control it very granularly and it's so fun to fly up into the air when you do it quickly.
Controls were a bit off but I found the mood to be quite chill and enjoyable.
everything just seems to come together so nicely. I am so surprised that this quality was produced in such a short time.
Super funny concept!
I liked the smooth fps. The concept is pretty funny and I really like the art for the merchandise. Noticed that the sensitivity was wack, but otherwise I found it to be quite stable.
I like the controls a lot!
Funny concept. I wasn't the hugest fan of the gameplay though.
I wasn't particularly good at the game but I can imagine the satisfaction of slowly getting there. The audio is really well done. I may not be speaking for everyone, but I would start it off easier.
The theme choice is good and I like that you mentioned the ocean stats at the beginning. Overall the game was pretty clear to understand. I would have liked the collection to be more physics based(like using a magnet or a net). I also noticed that if you orient yourself horizontally, the left and right keys actually move you up and down - dynamically changing the controls may have helped in that situation.
I like the concept but I have a few gripes with it. The sword throw doesn't inherit the velocity of the character which makes for awkward moments. The sound track loop was also very short and drove me a bit batty. Still, the idea is really cool and, as a programmer, it made me smile.
i scored 6300 on my first try. I found it compelling although more towers would have been fun to add deeper strategic decisions.Technically, I noticed that the game dropped to about 10fps or so once I reached a certain size.
I like the cute fish. Controls were pretty good other than taking picture. The lighting was pretty well executed too!
it was good fun and a fresh idea
Congratulations on completing your project on time! It was satisfying to shoot at the fish but I did notice some interesting sprite layering bugs when overlapping with them.
@2rek @okolyr Thanks for the input. Chillers saw a nerf shortly before we declared we were finished. I'm happy that the mono-chiller strategy wasn't the most effective.
@miej Darn! We almost put that change in!
Thanks for all the input everyone!
@dobrila @lelulagames Thanks for playing. The theme idea was that as you melt the ice, the water gets deeper.
Definitely a funky title. I liked flinging the man around the most. The sfx were so cheesy that it became funny - I figure that was calculated.
I liked jumping when the physics of the environment was interactable
I like the art. The combat had a tight feel to it. I would have prefered the main attack to have a much shorter animation, or at least allowing for movement during it. Dashing felt pretty nice.
Quirky little game. I had fun teaching those fish a lesson.
