LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Depth by SaraJS 2021-04-27T13:13:40Z

Really nice game, fits the theme perfectly. The graphics were pretty awesome, a 3D with pixelart, pretty clever.

I just found it a little hard midway when I touched the wall unintentionally and got pushed into the obstacle. But the controls are pretty great, the art is on point, the sounds are pretty good either. Congrats

Very fun little game. The art is pretty good, the controls are on point. Very fun to play.

It's a little slow to get "to the end", a lot of grind, but that's my type of game so I loved it. Congrats

The Space Between Us by LaneDavis 2021-04-27T13:09:00Z

How this isn't a full release yet?? :scream:

Great game, the design, sound, voice overs, really great overall. Huge congrats to the team. I just missed a "mini map" of sorts. I know the arrows help point into the next objective but not knowing the layout of the game difficulty a bit, specially for such a tense game where things got into your attention really quickly.

Besides that, just a awesome game. I'm really impressed for the quality in such a short amount of time.

Subterranean Sub by NorthernDevGuy 2021-04-27T08:16:25Z

Very chill game, very nice to play. The only tiny thing for me is "losing control" of the sub while picking up an item. You can still move for a while and then it freezes until the item is picked. I would freeze when I click the item or not freeze at all.

Besides that, great game, loved it. Congrats

Quick Scrap by Vimlark 2021-04-27T13:24:52Z

Awesome little game, very speedrun-y. Loved the highscore system, really incentivizes replayability. I just found a little hard the Up/Down boosts, sometimes I feel it were a bit too much for the fine movements I wanted to make.

Besides that, great game. Congrats

Deepest Dungeon by Almighty Games 2021-04-27T07:58:55Z

Overall a pretty good game. I'm the type of player that gets lost very easily, so took me some time to understand where I should go and why. A minimap or some sort of indication would be very appreciated.

Besides that, the controls are on point (changing the mouse sensitivity on the menu was a great addition), the graphics looks awesome, the music and sfx are pretty good either. Congrats

I Would Like To Check Out of This Hotel by poboy 2021-04-27T07:29:03Z

Game looks awesomne, that art and sound are on point, the only critique I would have is the particles taking most of the screen when something explodes.

Besides that, great feedback while shooting, controls are very good, overall great and fun game. Congrats!

Dwarven Delver by cavedens 2021-04-26T16:43:37Z

I didn't understand the objective at first. The first time I just ran out of stamina instantly.

I agree with other comments that it's a little random, sometimes you can just go straight down, I didn't see much contrast between "normal" rocks and special ones, and I still don't understand what should happen when it tiles spawn a bat or a skull.

But after understanding the objective, the game is quite fun. I would only make the objetices a little more clear, and make the special rocks a bit more visible so I can plan before going down.

The Mystery of Stalore-9 by Arthur Mairs 2021-04-27T13:32:42Z

Nice little game. Reminded me a lot of subnautica in some ways. I just missed some sort of mouse sensitivity option, and a more clear way for aiming the enemies. The red dot is really small.

Besides that, found a little bug where I left the first "ship" trying to dive to the next one I kept being teleported back into the ship I just left.

Besides that, awesome game, really enjoyed the voice over too. Congrats

Solar Subs by Simpathey 2021-04-27T13:19:26Z

Really nice game, only got 42 but had a bunch of fun playing it. I have only two concerns:

1) You have to actually click on the sub to power it. At the beginning I was using the mouse only to "direct" the light but it didn't work until I clicked in the actual sub. I think only using the mouse for direction would be nicer.

2) Playing in the Itch.io page, sometimes a sub would spawn beneath itch's buttons and I couldn't click. If I put fullscreen (I have a 3444x1440 monitor) I couldn't see the time.Screenshot_2.png

Besides this two little things, awesome game. Really enjoyed playing it. Congrats

Depths of Mind by Syliris 2021-04-27T13:06:19Z

A little sad story for a great design game. Loved the minigames (besides not understanding much a bout the sink and the flies), the controls are on point, the story caught me till the end. Great game, congrats

Beession Impossible by mathewcst 2021-04-26T16:38:49Z

@elmando2333 thank you so much. And yeah, I should put more input options, completely forgot about that

Beession Impossible by mathewcst 2021-04-26T16:39:22Z

@zomk thank you, I'm kinda new to pixelart but I had fun making this

Gold Digger by ThatmanRobin 2021-04-27T07:40:42Z

Very fun game. Sometimes the drill turns in weird ways, hard to get back in place, but besides that is a really fun game. The narration is the best part hahahaha

Congrats

Bob's Depth by phealsout 2021-04-26T16:28:46Z

I confess I got confused on the gameplay. There were no clear goals. Should I go top? Maybe down? When the enemies appear should I use the left click or right click? Is there a score?

I have a ultrawide monitor, so I think the scaling didn't help either. I saw a 0/9 half cutted on the corner of my screen and didn't understand what I had to do. But I really liked the idea, and the graphics were pretty ok.

Good one, keep it going!
