Nice job, if you can find a way to make the resurfacing/diving less repetitive it could be something really good! Chill game to just dive down and keep upgrading your little booster propane tank, intuitive controls and overall solid game. Great effort!
It's a pretty fun game. Took me a while but I beat it. Pretty thorough upgrade system.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Purebe, I created an oil tile that was going to give you a bit of fuel when you mined it, which would have helped to make it so you don't have to resurface quite so often, but I never got around to implementing it despite the fact that it would have taken literally 3 minutes. I was focused on other more important things and then ran out of time.

Fantastic game! The game has great depth (no pun intended!), the upgrade system is great. I almost made myself a maze of tunnels until i started making shortcuts for myself. It was cool that I had so many elements to manage, so great job. Highly recommended.
Really nice and full-featured game. This reminds me of an old Flash game I played years ago and forgot the name of, but I really enjoy this genre of game (upgrades + digging). It's a little slow at first but it's very intuitive to play and satisfying to keep reaching for the next upgrade. Sound could be a little better, sure, but I think this is a really complex game and I'm impressed with everything you accomplished in just 48 hours!
Reminds me a lot of motherload, Great Job!
Very nicely made game! Reminded me of Motherload. The progression is pretty slow (at least at first) so it can get a bit tedious. Graphics are very decent and functional. Could use more sounds and maybe some music or other background ambience. Impressive amount of features, like upgrades and such. Very impressive for such tight schedule :)

Its a nice game with some addicting progression, I didnt win but I did enjoy it and spent some time playing :) really impressive for 2 days
One of the games I played the longest from this Ludum Dare's edition! Simple but very addictive and that's the most important thing in a game: it has to be fun. Really enjoyable but the only thing I missed was some sfx to complete the experience.

Great work. Love the final challenge as you get really low.
Look like as a basic mining simulation game but the fuel change everything and make the player think about his decisions, so, it's a cool game.
Very fun little game. The art is pretty good, the controls are on point. Very fun to play.
It's a little slow to get "to the end", a lot of grind, but that's my type of game so I loved it. Congrats

I love it! Reminds me of Motherload, one of my old favorites. It would be great if you could provide a WebGl version, so more people could play it, though I don't know how hard that is to do with Game Maker Studio 2.
Any motherload-inspired game is great in my book! I really enjoyed the gameplay especially the feeling of dread when I got way to low on fuel. The only thing I would suggest is to add some more sounds with sfxr and add some screen-shake on drilling. Great work!
Great game! I loved being able to use both drills towards the end with complete upgrades.
Had fun, wished there was a restart tho so I wouldn't loose all my upgrades. I could totally see this game continued
Thanks for bringing your game for me to play Monday night. If you'd like to watch my playthrough again the highlight is at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1005053857
Fun little game! Upgrade system is good. Fuel seems to be the main limiter, at least at first. Some sort of respawn after dying with _some_ cost, but not having to start over would be good.
