Chill beats, fitting SFX, and a valid reason to fail five seconds into a game? Yes please! Bonus points for the leaderboard, I can't resist a game with a leaderboard.

I see now why it says not to let blocks with the same color touch.... I did it because my stack was going nowhere (that was before I decided to go for height) and I learned why you shouldn't do it the hard way. The fact that the blocks change color is a genius touch, it really destabilizes things when a block slips!

I didn't read your description and went straight to the game. Thought it would be a simple tower building game but loved the twist you put on it. Sounds are really nice as well!

The opposite-colors-repel really adds something to the "make a stack" formula. I definitely felt the theme when my tower started to popcorn apart in a cascade of color collisions.

Multiple levels also adds a nice structure and prevents things from getting stale.

I expect that I won't be on the leaderboards for very long.

Pretty innovative. Love tyhe chain reaction.

z0rly 2021-10-03 23:38

Great use of the theme and love the extra instability. Figuring out the best order to stack is fun!

dooleus 2021-10-03 23:43

i got lucky with the rng on my best run. loving this game. great job!

fakefirefly 2021-10-03 23:47

A fun stacking with a nice twist. The leaderboards were a nice incentive for multiple plays.

A complaint is that, because you cannot see what the next theme is, you can get screwed over because of positioning. The blue blocks theme has ruined pretty every one of my runs.

The audio when same colored blocks touch is punchy and made me wince the first time, which is a good thing.

Overall, I did have fun with the game.

Like the other commenters said, the color repellent idea is such a good mechanic to add to this type of game. The leaderboard adds a lot too, I enjoyed my time with this game!

Fantastic game. A bit RNG-centric, but still very challenging and fun to play.

nick-barrash 2021-10-04 00:34

@myles-doupe yeah good call out on RNG -- agreed. I wanted to make the block color/shape order deterministic but ran out of time.

fell in love with the chill beat. Amazing game!

A fun little physics puzzle. No matter how much i tried i couldn't build more than 110 m

the-jahn 2021-10-04 08:08

Good twist, can't believe you managed to add a leaderboard. The world needs more of those.

gogu 2021-10-04 10:55

Simple gameplay + clever mechanism + leader board = Crazy addiction!

very nice cool music and mood and innovative.

Awesome block stacking game! I love how same colors repel and you can get a crazy domino effect that brings down your whole tower! One thing that slightly bothers me is that rarely you get same color like 5 or more times in a row and it can end your game.

this. is. shit.

trexxak 2021-10-04 21:52

I spent way too much time playing and still only managed to scratch the leaderboards :'D

Fantastic work!

flightless 2021-10-17 12:26

Made it into the leaderboards on the third try  The variation of the building blocks added to the fun.

Could this similar be used by real architects working in this field, or is it just a game for amateurs? I am asking that because I have been searching for a good 3D tool where I could design my new house for more than one month. I found an architect, but it will cost me too much. That is why I want to do it by myself. I plan to buy some tools like [screws](https://www.scrooz.com.au/screws/batten-screws/) and other things I will use in the construction process, and I hope everything will be ready in a couple of months.
