LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Xonatiuh by dementor561 2015-12-15T05:30:00

Music was amazing. I really liked the boss animation.

Crazy Tornado City by Zener 2015-12-14T03:11:00

Started off a little slow I thought I was going to be disappointed but when the tornado gets going its quite fun. Good job.

Growing Wings by Fadobo 2015-12-14T03:51:00

End of days nuclear explosion was amazing. I enjoyed watching the progression of time and decay. I'm not sure why bird wasn't as detailed as everything else though. Thanks for making a game though!

Swarm by NaoisTheGuardian 2015-12-14T03:28:00

i downloaded the windows and universal versions when I ran each of them a black screen popped up and then closed. sorry I couldn't run your game :(

Void Gate by Wekaj 2015-12-14T04:02:00

Really liked the art. Cards being scrolls was an awesome way to display them. I think your idea was solid but I'm sorry there was just way too much shuffling animation and at one point I played a card and accidentally wiped my board so I scored the game low for fun but high in everything else. Thanks for making a game!

Running Of The Ball by NickMakesGames 2015-12-14T03:43:00

Played this one a few times. Thanks for making it!

Panball by gillenew 2015-12-16T14:30:00

Probably the best idea for the themes. I saw something else comment this but I am also upset I didn't do a pinball game now lol. Great job.

Life Is Short by ShaunJS 2015-12-14T23:14:00

I have watched you do several LDs now and I finally decided to try one for myself. Thank you for all your tutorials and streaming and for all the questions of mine you have answered. Also the game is great! Thanks for making it!

A Bullet Hell Style Shooter Where One Button Controls Both Shooting and Moving, While Another Button Gives You Slightly Sarcastic Motivation. by Fanttum 2015-12-14T15:52:00

In 10 hours your game is almost better than my 48 game. Good job!

spin-circle by Modoc73 2015-12-14T15:44:00

Very fun. Very crisp. Next LD I will be striving for this level of quality.

Pagdo by Tensoplast01 2015-12-14T22:58:00

Pretty neat. I hated having to move my thumb in circles though lol. but overall fun. Also for some reason the sides of the screen were cut off for me. Noticed someone said audio issues. I didn't have any.

Shark Wars by Tom 2015-12-14T04:11:00

Fanttum - I won't be able to port to max or web sorry :( Working on that for my next LD.
Modoc73 - so sorry! I am new this is my first time. I think I fixed it.

Shark Wars by Tom 2015-12-14T20:42:00

Made it in Game Maker, if you have game maker I included the project file so you could play it that way. and I can understand why people don't do RTS games for this lol it was not easy. I'm an idiot for choosing RTS for my first LD but I like them and got excited with my idea. Going to try to go clean, crisp and simple next time.

Shark Wars by Tom 2015-12-14T21:30:00

turtles were meant as a slow mechanic. they have an area effect slow that that is bugged and only slows one enemy unit right now. They are also worth the most food. Sadly I ran out of time and they are useless and the mechanic of things being worth different food is left unexplained. Come to think of it I should probably just update my entry with those details lol.

Shark Wars by Tom 2015-12-16T12:32:00

Yeah I completely agree. I spent way too much time on art and ended up with no tutorial. Thanks for playing though!

The Beanstalk by Mithreindeir 2015-12-14T03:54:00

No windows or web option for me to play. Will check back later.

My Dino by Reggianito 2015-12-14T22:19:00

I liked it. I liked the challenge. Not sure if I did this wrong but it seemed when I died there was no way to just restart. It made me close the program and then I had to reopen it to try again. Nice music

Last Fantasy Harvest Sun by AranHase 2015-12-14T21:44:00

Really liked the idea. I think if the other theme was 3 buttons instead of 2 and you could use "up" to interact with the environment or attack this game would have been amazing. Nice job working with it though and doing the auto pick/drop thing. I think feeling the need to do both themes really got the best of everyone.

Green Fingers Award by Zeezgames 2015-12-14T21:12:00

Loved it. Upgrades were fun. I found myself wanting more. :D. Only side note when I changed to plant x3 for whatever reason the sound got really loud.

Run Forest by WilpelMakeGames 2015-12-14T21:03:00

Got stuck on level 9. Really fun though. Good Job.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Ascent of Light by Rubel 2016-04-25T23:07:00

Seriously this is my favorite game of the compo. The atmosphere and feel of this game brings me back to the days of bubble bobble and dig dug and the other NES/Arcade cross over classics. It uses the shape shift in a unique way which is both awesome in it's own right but also allows for all the different characters which were awesome. Music is great. And the levels actually get harder is a very gradual but appropriate way. Great job. 5/5 in every category.

SpaceShifter by ShaunJS 2016-04-19T04:34:00

Great job as usual.

Full Moon Village by Tom 2016-04-19T04:41:00

@jcmonkey thanks I will look into that. The real problem was the arrays resetting. Half way through I started learning about DS lists and I think I should have used more of them instead of arrays. I definitely bit off more than I could chew. lol

@Le_Sarus The original idea was to have non-human clues you could find that would change how people acted. For some reason I thought having set levels and puzzles wasn't good enough so I decided to randomize which took much longer than I thought and made me cut a bunch of stuff. Atmosphere was the key to this game and I definitely fell short.

Full Moon Village by Tom 2016-04-19T19:40:00

@RealityCheck sorry about that. I didn't have as much time to play test different resolutions like I normally do.

Rainbow Raiders by KristopherPeterson 2016-04-18T23:12:00

HJKL could have been Up, Down, Left, Right and playing would have been easier. Everything else was great.
