Love the mood. Interesting how you with very simple graphics make it look and feel a bit scary. Simple game mechanic but very satisfying. Clean color scale! <3
For a weekend project this is quite impressive! Some constructive criticism though: Could it be that you had more plans to utilize the quite large area you can walk around on? Currently I do not see a reason why you would even want to walk anywhere other than the center of the wall. Other than that, great submission!
Pretty fun. The gameplay and atmosphere felt a lot more like a zombie game. The sound effects were funny.
Great game! It's really satisfying to play even though I can't jump.
Very impressive motion/controls. Maybe I don't have a good sense of the complexity of making a working 3D FPS environment/engine, but I was definitely surprised at how high-quality (if very simple) the 3D work was. The feel of the arrows was nice - not particularly easy to hit targets, but very satisfying to try.
It very much had a vibe/feel to it that was enjoyable - and shockingly high frame rate for a web build.

cool game.. i understand the concept and its kinda like tower defense.. 3d is simple.. but totally cool. for such short time.. keep it up dude..
Very nice bow controls, although I wish you could do stuff like draw the bowstring to change fire strength and had a larger quiver (but maybe I've played too much Mount & Blade). The walls felt a bit weird in that there's no reason to move anywhere from the gate, and at the same time you can barely see what's going on at the gates themselves. Most times when a package was delivered I didn't even see the guy who did that, and sometimes I did see him by the gate but couldn't reach him with arrows, which felt a bit frustrating. Loved the green arrows :)

I would say it is a fun game. I enjoy the mood when everyone is coming. However, more feedback can be added. Charge attack can be considered too, as running to find the right position does not solve all the problems for me. Welcome to play my game too.
@lisyarus i might have forgot to mention that when you hear the cherping sound a bird will soon fly by, and thats a carrier pigeon with a message. you have to shoot it. that might be where your invisible deliverds are coming from.
@ylaxus yeah i didnt want you to be able to jump down and easily kill them :D although that could have been a more interestng game having to hunt down the guys before they get to the keep.
@pete-valeo yeah i used unitys default renderer, and anything in the scene that didnt move i made sure was static. also the fog seems to help a bit with culling a bit more maybe.
This was the first game I played on the game jam, and I have to say that I enjoyed it. I really like the concept of 1st person shooter and tower defense game. The concept reminded me of Dungeon Defenders a little which I put many, many hours into. Since this was a weekend project I am not sure if you had any further plans on mechanics, but it would be cool if you could purchase NPC archers to help you with the onslaught. Overall, very good job!
@slightly-ajar yeah that was one of the ideas, to buy more ppl and have the spawns increase. but time

Weird concept, I had fun with it! The old timey low poly aesthetic was cool and I enjoyed mowing down delivery men.
I don't know why there's so many of them and why they won't run, but they don't stop coming and I'm here for it.
Loved this entry! I had fun. It was short and sweet. The graphics were pretty good. I think the death sounds on audio needed to be randomized with a few more takes, or balanced a tiny bit better.
My only negative feedback: the font was very hard to read, and it was so small in the UI on HTML that I couldn't really make out how many arrows I had.

Really good game. I really liked how the arrows dropped off as they flew.
Fun game play, I enjoyed the green arrows and the aesthetic of the game. The look was a little slow for me, but for the time to make and complete build it is great and fun!
Great entry! I really liked the idea (the story is super fun) and the game mechanics. Maybe a little visually uncomfortable with the castle battlements being so big and not allowing me to see the field. Once you understand that the "pretenders" go to the same point of the wall you always only move to reload arrows, so the rest of the wall doesn't make much sense. Maybe you could add upgrades or special weapons in those free parts of the wall ¿?. Congratulations! Great job! XD
Nice idea. It's enough fun to play. Maybe I would have preferred to better see the field. Plus, I think that your basic ammo is too limited.

Very cool! I really liked the aesthetics and the vibe. The look-speed was a bit slow, but I got used to it after a while. It would be nice to have a bit more variation in the gameplay, but for a jam game it is really well made!
This was fun! Even though I felt bad doing it, I appreciate that the dang birds were shootable as well :laughing:
Agree with other the game is fun, concise and works. I like how you flipped the theme on its head. I might have been nice to have a little minimap of where the enemys are in relation to the gate so while you are running to get arrows you can plan you next plan of attack - i spent too much time just trying to see where the guys where only for them to get into the game before i shot anything.

Pretty fun overall, but I noticed that no matter where I seemed to hit the suitors, it always seemed to take 3 shots to kill them, but I'm not sure how my accuracy was being judged? Arrows per kill? Shots that hit the target? Something else I missed?
Also the bird chirping was the loudest sound I've heard today lol.
Nice, simple 3D graphics but I could easily tell what everything was / what I was supposed to be doing. Great job!

Cool game. Simple, and no victory condition, just horde survival against the desperate suitors. So many... suitors... They're mad! I had a whole field of corpses they were walking calmly over. I liked that the carrier pigeon mixed things up. I kind of wish there was a goal or like waves or something, and that there were maybe a couple more challenges to overcome, like some suitors climbing the walls on either side and trying to get through windows maybe, or a horserider.
