I think he best strategy is just standing in the center and shoot constantly, while pointing to the closest monster. I don't see a reason to move or use sword. But great game anyway!
i would personally make the controls a little bit more tighter, and expand the hit box on the sword by 20% more.

Good game! Though why in some games my avatar swings, and in some - shoots, remained a mystery to me.
Nice start for a defense game. The slashing and shooting might need more polishing cause it doesn't feel good enough to hit anything. As for the game itself, I can't seem to see my own HP so I just tried my best to attack without getting hit. Did complete the game by defeating all summoners.
@denismarasan By pressing space you can switch between sword and gun. Thanks for the feedback!
@bloodbane the HP is shown actually on the top left corner, though you can't really see it unless the game is in fullscreen
