Maybe it's my fried brain from 48h of gamedev but it gets quite stressful quite fast for me. Love the tactical aspect of assigning the right spells to the correct lanes. Unfortunately I'm often of mana when I have enough spells to create good combos. Maybe refill mana on level up? In my third or fourth playthrough it stopped offering my new spells, I think that's a bug.
Impressive amount of content with a lot of nice pixel art and animations, good job!

i would love to see pictures over the buttons when i get a new ability. i kept forgetting what things i had to work with over time because the buttons are just numbers. also i would do the difficulty ramping a bit slower. on my second enemy i got a snail and it took a bit to kill it.

Fun game with the possibility for lots of planning and trying different tactics.
Its very hard at the beginning, newcomers might benefit from a slower learning curve.
I had a problem with the music where it kept slowing down and glitching, turning the music off was nice but it didn't keep the setting when I started a new game.

Loved every second! Quite addicting core loop. After 10 minutes of constant dying at 500ish score I am convinced it is impossible to go further.

Adorable little game! I really liked the take on the theme for this one, summoning creatures as spells in different lanes is awesome! Would've been great to have little mana or health pickups your troops could get for you in the different lanes.

It's very well done but the difficulty ramps up pretty fast. Perhaps it could start with just two lanes instead of four? Graphics are very cute and the sfx is serviceable. The game is instantly understandable and playable which is no small feat!
Really slick! Love the small polish like the shadows underneath the characters. Didn't get far before I ate it - a bit of a waiting game, but I don't mind

This is a quality compo entry. Everything looks nice and clean, there's a nice variety in monsters to summon and fight and there's little touches in just the right places.
Although the game can be overwhelming, it's a good sign that I tried several times and got slightly better with each battle. It didn't take long to understand what was going on, massive kudos for keeping things intuitive! There's a lot of different ways to balance this, like opening up the other lanes over time or having the portals on the other side of the lanes unlock as you upgrade. Being surrounded with only a couple of attacks made the early game feel super hard. Care and attention went into exactly the right places, and it makes this feel super complete, even being made within 48 hours!
Super clean graphics and love the audio vibes. Thanks for sharing!

Simple idea, well executed. The different items synergise well with one another to create enough of a strategic element to make this a game worth playing for a good while. Like others, the difficulty curve was abit to steep for me personally, but then it's not my genre.
