It suddenly getting frozen after few seconds of play (Firefox 102.15.0esr (64-bit)) :(
good game, but no exit ui,and i want to like rts to control
Unfortunatly freeze when I click on Mine
[EDIT]: Ok that work fine now!
Good game
The freeze has been fixed on HTML. :)
This is really fun. It'd be nice to have a way to unselect the character if you change your mind. Really liked the aesthetic and mechanic.
This might be my favorite game so far! I love how it escalates and i want to see if the enemies can keep up! I loved the settlers games and this reminds of them a lot although its more arcady. I think forager comes closest in my mind, well done!

This game is so fun. There were a couple occasions where the enemy would freeze up, which allowed me to gather more resources. Once you hit a critical mass then there's really no stopping you.
A couple thoughts for balance: * Perhaps limit the population based on how many houses are present * Perhaps limit the number of workers per lumber or mine. Once I got up to about 30 the progress bar just gave up. * Need a way to unselect current selection. Accidentally placed a barracks trying to select a troop.
- Liked the art style - At first I placed the production far, close to the trees, learning how it works I placed it closer, accidentally getting my workers collide with it. Still don't know how barracks work, it only makes one soldier and then says it needs 150 stone, but I just get overwhelmed, even if I rush barracks.
This game is pretty awesome, simple strategies at first is really friendly to me.
its like a mini version of warcraft. it felt really fun to play. nice job.
This game is really cool. The art is impressive, the music sets the mood perfectly, the sounds are on point, and I especially enjoy the screen shake effects. Overall, it's a well-crafted experience!
Funny game, but I've become overpowered very quickly
The "engine" gets going quite quickly after which the game feels quite easy for a while.
Really polished effects - sounds, feedbacks etc.
Overall, a very solid entry!
Really great entry. Art style is pleasant and cohesive (tho some animations on the soldier/worker sprites would be neat) and it ramps up in difficulty and urgency well as things progress. Being able to start strategizing things like barrack placement so you dont have to manually control the soldiers later is a cool feature. I dig it
It looked cozy at first... :D such a good game, good job!
I like the overall vibe and how responsive the controls are, however, when i select a worker and ask it to go work at a certain place, the worker just pops in the first building it touches instead of the one i selected. I ended up making the workers loop around my building so i could get them to the one that i want.
Really cool and fun game. Encountered some glitches when placing buildings too close together (workers would auto assign themselves to nearby buildings) but other than that it was really enjoyable.
ss.PNG It's a bit too easy but quite fun!
realy cool and fun , i need more building and options !
BUILT MORE STONE! haha this was nice had a good time with it, simple but effective, selecting workers in amongst soldiers was difficult and for the most part they just got left as a fighter
nice game! a little too easy maybe, but nice idea and very good implementation!
Enjoyed the game, the art, music and effects are quite good, the camera shake effect is also very cool. Also like the balance, but after some point if you survived the rest of the game becomes relatively easy. Some late game progression would be great to have image_2023-10-03_195836944.png
Great game! I find there's a lot of similarity between our games, both being RTS and probably being inspired by AoE. Liked how you simplified it's core gameplay loop and left the most fun part of balancing between army and economy. Theme implementation however was a bit unclear to me. Well done overall!
Oh nice, it looks I've found two RTS at the same time. I'll check @corporation game next. :D
One thing I've noticed in this game is the fact that text may appear below other buildings, making it impossible to read. The text labels should probably be on a layer above other sprites.
The music is very fitting. Extra points for making it possible to play it in the browser.
Interesting game. I kept getting workers and soldiers confused. Couldnt get the "workers" to stack in buildings. I had soldiers instead :face_palm: Once I worked that out it was good :) Nice one!
Cool strategy game! It feels well polished!
Interesting concept! I really loved the cohesiveness of the graphics. Though I felt like the start of the game was a bit slow. Maybe upping the resource generation at the start would've helped that.
Really cool, really polished, I like it! The biggest issue however is that when telling a worker to go to a place, he will automatically enter any factory on the way, and that's how I lost my first two games because I just could't get any worker on a stone mine... Apart from that it's flawless :)
really nice! i didn't go to far because i seemed to be pretty OP rather quickly, but with some balancing I can see how this would be very addictive
Fun little RTS, I'm bad at this kind of games but that one wasn't too complicated! As others have said there could be some improvements to the control and AI but for a compo game it's not too important. The graphics and audio are simple but they work well together. Great job :)
Nice builder with cohesive cute graphics and peaceful vibe :)
took me a few tries to figure out how to have enough people and resources but I liked it
I really like the polished graphics and SFX in this game, and had a lot of fun just placing and moving stuff. However, the game needs more balancing - after a certain point, it is literally impossible to lose. I won't give any recommendations myself, since @cyber-puffin has described them perfectly.
Hey, I’m the host of the Ludum Dare score chasers tournament for this jam
Wanted to ask for score chasers if you were fine with me playing some gameplay of your game in the background in the waiting period / intermission. In the waiting period its going to cycle between gameplay of a bunch of different games in the background (with music from games in the jam playing as well)
@ategon Hey! Sounds very cool, I am fine with that. Thanks :)
