I realize that this is not finished, but just so you know it didn't work on Firefox. We had issues as well, we resolved them by checking the embedding guide https://ludumdare.com/resources/guides/embedding/.

Looks good! I like the vibe!

nice game. so i derped and didnt read the thing and realzied there was a dash, so i just jumped around and got the blue things. though it was confusing at first, but then i realized i had to go into the mouth of that guy. maybe when you get all the flames, or enough of them put a arrow over the place to drop them off. also the cursor didnt lock in the ld site player, i would of hosted the game on itch.io. and for unity you could do Cursor.lockState to rid the mouse and keep it in the window. overall the game was fun to play the music was moody the colors were moody so a nice submission for the compo :D

Cool game! I'm really impressed by the amount of 3d assets you cooked up for the compo, seriously impressive! I love the art style. I had some issues where I couldn't click to fire souls which prevented me from collecting all the pink ones. Also, the little ghost companion would snap the camera whenever occluded. If you were using cineamchine I would recommend putting him on an ignored layer so it doesn't snap the camera forward since it ends up looking jittery. Great job overall though!

Hey! The art for this game was just superb: I loved the main character, the crows, the monster mouths, and just about everything really. I found the mouse too responsive which meant the platforming was a little tough. I think this game has a lot of promise and could be expanded. Really well done

Love the art. I wish the hitbox for the souls was a bit bigger. Like other folks have mentioned, the camera felt a bit too responsive, and made it kind of difficult to move.

I really liked the movement!

Very creepy, I think this is an amazing take on the theme!

Great mood and art! First I was shocked by the camera control but got used to it quite fast! Feels good to play!

Beautiful art style, love the mood of the game! I noticed a fun design bug (feature?) that you could grind infinite ammo by going in/out of a zone repeatedly. The controls felt a bit awkward at first but felt pretty responsive after getting used to them, only wish there would have been a sensitivity setting.

I also struggled with Assembly Reloads on our entry and found out about about assemblies and "Settings > Editor > Enter Play Mode Settings" too late as it requires the code to be a bit more structured, well there's always next time!

nice and moody, mouse was wayyyy too sensitive and i didn't figure out how to reduce the sensitivity

commanderstitch 2023-05-12 03:54

So MOOOOOODY. Creepy, weird. atmosphereic. The music and the look and feel are spot on for creeping me out for some reason. And yet at the same time i felt a little bit of an up with wondering about the main character. kind of humanoid, but hair, but ... something off about everything. :D Ran into the ghost arms collision bug. froze me right on the spot. xD

Very nice entry. Very feature full. No problems understanding what to do. Was fairly easy to play even on a laptop but I imagine would be better with a mouse. Gave me Alice Returns vibes.

3D platformers can be a bit frustrating as it's hard to judge distance, but it felt like you'd tested it well to make it so platforms were either a normal jump away or a dash jump away, so you could usually land in the right spot by confidently doing a full forward jump of one type or the other.
