I enjoyed it, I think it might be cooler if there were some way to force you to pick up all the bros instead of just killing all the enemies by yourself and then returning to get them once its safe.

The idea of combining snake and shooter games is brilliant! Totally impressed by the destructible scene and graphics. Controls are nice and smooth. Would be better if there's sound for the atmosphere =)

This game is by far one of the greatest entries for this jam. The gameplay and level design is super with only minor hiccups in difficulty curve, but I had a lot of fun with this and even replayed level 2 and 3 because IT ENDED TOO SOON. This would make an amazing arcade or multiplayer game. Very well done.
Also big +1 for the visuals. The clouds, the characters, the bullets - simple but really satisfying to look at.
This will probably be THE best game I played in the event. Honestly its hard for me to imagine a game having a better impression on me than your work.
Missing sounds are obviously a bummer but everything else is just stellar.
If you're going to continue work on this and maybe push it to steam or sth some day - I'd be definetly interested - so do you have a newsletter to sign up to, or maybe a blog to to subscribe to? I'd be on board immediately.
Graphics are impressive, it's really sad you don't have sounds and music. Destruction effects are impressive too. Tutorial, text in level well made too

This's amazing. I feel like the nuke/space attack should have been limited, since once I found out about it, I used just that, especially because it was so satisfying to use.
this was a pretty fun game i enjoyed it. the characters were cute
DAMN. This was one hell of a pleasant surprise! let's start of by saying: everything is SO cute. The models, the animations, everything! I love the graphics, they are simplistic, yet great. You also applied post-processing effects very thoughtfully, which complimented everything nicely. The gameplay was solid, and definitely hard at times: but that's the challenge. You implemented the theme very well and I finally found out the perfect way to kill all enemies without killing my own by strafing linearly to the enemies and shooting at the same time. It's quite refreshing to see a third person shooter where you actually have to watch out for your main characters, instead of only the enemies. The only thing I could say it: keep working on it, make some fancy models for the levels and add music plus sounds. As someone else put it: "I can't believe you did all this in 48 hours!"
Damn good entry. The mechanic fits the theme very well. The graphics is beautiful and game-play is well polished. Really good job!

By the way, i was playing just for fun, already rated it but i really liked it, and noticed that if you run and shoot in the same direction, you end up killing yourself. Probably both colliders overlapping when spawning the bullet

The tutorial on the beginnings helps a lot too. My only feedback is about the Space Key Explosion... This is kinda cheating, isn't it? I just stopped shooting and started to just aim and SPACE, BOOM! lol. By the way, very great entry! If you put some audios, it will be perfect.

Your game basically is too hard for me, but I still tried it over and over till I finally managed to beat it just because it is so much fun! The graphics and especially the character models are incredible. It already feels so complete, the missing sound SEEMS like a huge contra, just because you forget it was made in just 48 hours by one person. Feels like a small team worked weeks on it! I still can't wrap my head around that. Awesome work, definitely one of my absolute favourites, if not THE favourite!

Very clever way to use the traditional snake mechanic. Fun and very challenging. This need some audio to improve the experience, but it's a very good game overall, good job!
Awesome! This simple idea just turns out to be so well implemented! Feels sorry for this stupid squad shooting at each other all the time... Compared to another game I played using the similar idea. The control and graphics are just way better. Turns out having a top down 45 degree camera doesn't have to suffer from the movement using arrow keys. just do a axis align move. Nice skill learnt.
What a great looking game! I really enjoyed the concept of the bros being attached to you, and the extra care you have to take to avoid friendly-fire. I played to level 3 by gaming the first 2 (not rescuing any bros until I had cleared). Then in level 3 you put an end to that!
I didn't hear any sound. Other than that, the game was solid and fun. Once I somehow got myself near a bomb and launched myself way out of the map. It was glorious!

this is the best game I played soو far so much fun, I will not focus a lot on why this is an awesome game, since it already been stated in the comments before (visuals, art style, gameplay) but I will try to report some bugs or issues, this been a compo make the missing sound understandable, however I wish you continue with the development and add SFX and music to the game and if possible ship it to itch, gamejolt steam. will 100% buy it especially if you add to it local-multiplayer and controller support(huge party game fan). if you have an account so we can follow the game please link it.on the bug side
- I don't know if its a bug or a feature if you aimed at your self and fire you die - HUD layer is not always on top of everything else. first night level [night.png](///raw/8e3/01/z/e460.png) - the game is easy for me and the difficulty are same throughout the levels just avoid take any soldier and finish the game then come back and get them. the last level (after game jam was so much fun tho :) ) - you can outrange the enemy and kill them with zero risk - the core mechanics of line up so you don't kill your player or soldiers is innovative, however, it makes it easy for the enemy to kill you or your fellow soldiers and limit you from move a lot and make the combat slower which is not so much fun!
overall this game is EPIC and thank you very much for making it <3

This is a SUPER FUN game ! Awesome graphics, no bugs. I don't know if it's me but i haven't got any sounds or music. Too bad, because it could have made it perfect :D By the way, the clouds puff you made are particle effect or not ? And how did you managed to do glowing/neon effect on UI elements ? :) Thanks a lot !
One of the best games in this jam. Since I played a lot of shooter today, I tend to forget that friendly fire can kill and just shoot on the spot; It takes a little time to get accustomed to the new mechanics. The art is simple and great and I love the visual effects. Great game.
The idea is great but I think it would be much cooler if you implement some kind of puzzle mechanics where you should take some of these bros to a point in the map. Btw, the gameplay feeling is amazing. Good job!

游戏实在太赞了,画面和创意十分棒,也切题,建议下次开发时候音效和音乐要同步开发。音效和音乐加入的话肯定超级赞!但是我发现人多的优点没有和缺点抗衡,导致我倾向于先把敌人全部清理了再去救队友

除了音乐以及上面有人提到的先不救援再救援的方式导致了不平衡外没有什么问题
可能可以通过计时或者是死亡威胁来让玩家去救援;
敌人AI略显单一;
这样的情况下显得非常真实“友军伤害的开启” -> 规则导致了整体玩法的变化,和移动方式的变化,特别有趣

Awesome entry! Graphically splendid, really well polished, really nice usage of the camera system moreover with the slowmo on death/failure. And even if the environment is made of blocks with a single color it works out so well! With the appropriate sounds it will get even better! :D
Cool game, in the end I went with only the main bro and rescue the bros after. Some sound would make this a complete game, but good job making it in the time limit.
Fun game with extremely well polished visuals! If I have any complaints, it would be that super widescreen aspect ratio looks cinematic but blocks vision when playing.

This entry impresses on all dimensions. Amazing you were able to cook it up in 24 hours. Hats off to you. While I've found that many entries make the core game mechanic more boring when leveraging the theme, such as slowing down the main character, yours certainly becomes only more interesting. Love having a cathartic mow-down of my team mates in the slow motion ending too.
Very impressive game! It looks gorgeous and the "bros" mechanic is pretty funny. Hard to believe this was all made by only 1 person :O Very fitting to the theme too. A shame it doesn't have any sound, but anyway this was incredible. Loved how the bros rolled in the ground, reminded me of this:

This was awesome bro! I don't know your reasons why you didn't implement some audio too, but if you just think you're not good enough with audio stuff I think that's the first step in recognizing your weakness. Dare yourself into adding audio next time and I'm sure you'll get it. This game just shows how competent you are and I'm sure you can do it.
This is fantastic, the challenge of not shooting your bros is easily balanced by your increased fire power. I would have liked a way to regain health once lost, and I'm sure it goes without saying, but even just a juicy bullet sound would have added a lot to the game.
Great Game! It doesn't matter how i have positioned i always got shot by my mates also when they were just side by side. Anyway, i just have left them until i shot all enemy's and then rescued them.

Really clever yet simple concept. Reminded me of cannon fodder a bit, but with friendly fire! It's easy to cheat though - I beat the last mission by commandoing around on my own and then collecting the bros later. Some solution to that problem would be required in order to take the game further I think. The art is really great - so chunky and fun!
Nice shooter game. The controls worked well, but walking was a little awkward at times in the isometric view. Seems like the best strategy is to go through the entire level and clear out all of the enemies first, and then go back and pick up the hostages after the path has been cleared to the exit. Otherwise the hostages just end up shooting you or each other. It reminds me of those old co-op games with the "friendly fire" option turned on, which always frustrated me. Some music and sound effects would have really helped. The 3D models looked really good and the physics seemed solid.
interesting game play mechanic, definitely fits the theme. Performance tanked on my computer, which is odd given the level of graphics. Couldn't get very far as the FPS was to low to play pleasantly and you disabled the graphics option dialog, so I couldn't make adjustments to make the game playable. If you are going to disable the graphics option dialog, you really need to provide an in game option.
Very smart mechanic, I like that. The walking and falling off the walls is a bit difficult and not necessary; I think the units can stick to the wall and don't fall. Anyway one of the best I have played.
