Stuck in Parallel by ArmchairArmada 2017-12-25T19:36:17Z ♥ 1
the game is nice and overall very good. it was a little bit so easy for me expected it to get worse. collision physics make it do strange staff and getting stuck some time make you sad but a reset will fix that. the game concept is nice, the implementation needs some tweaking maybe if you have time leave unity physics base collision and write your own that will help with the random glitches. it was fun playing the game thank you for making it.

an interesting graphic, and cool music. sadly I couldn't play the game fully due to the resolution problem ( to solve it simply go to the canvas and change the UI scale mode to "Scale With Screen Size"), the text also seemed very long you might want to make far away simpler. can't talk much about the combat due to screen issue but the gameplay needed to be clearer, I contracted everyone and I was still standing what does a - life mean? you should try to answer this question or make it more clear for the player. overall you did a good job get that much gameplay done in the short time given. all the best.

that was a fun little game ^_^ relaxing music and cool SFX. graphic and VFX were cool. card name added some humor to the game. overall the game felt nice <3 for improvements, I guess maybe a limitation on the number of cards you can play, or a scroll feature so you can see all the cards you have when it get missy xD but this some extreme cases

just wow, the level of polish in this game is insane, I think i spend like an hour playing the game it was fun XD got all the upgrades and enjoyed trying them.combat was entertaining, the narrative was well written, pixel art was awesome, animation and VFX were great. overall an amazing entry. keep it up <3. the only thing that annoyed me a little bit is that you can't go down when you on the platform and that sometime you find the wall dialogue box where you want to jump.

the graphic was ok, however, story and sound are where this game shines so good job there. the code was clean did find any bugs or freezes. would love if the next button was within the commander's order screen so we don't have to turn to the side, and for reducing the stare time maybe make it so that the more u keep staring at something the faster it loads or something similar. overall you did a neat job been solo. gameplay wise tho I think it needs some improvement feedback or a reward system could be nice you get more fuel with the more target you find, a ground defence rocket destroy the target after you mark it. cool and sad ending tho <3 all the best

so far this my favourite game this jam, it was so funny and I had so much fun with it. the music, the voiceover make the game feel so immersive. graphics and VFX were visually satisfying and the code were clean and worked perfectly. honestly, I don't see anything that needs improvement, Amazing job guys. wish you all the best <3
Slime, life, time, money. by gamefive 2019-05-08T14:49:40Z ♥ 2
very innovative use of the theme, since the theme, say life is a currency it doesn't define the value of that currency and the use of it, and you simply flipped the use so getting more life get you close to the death or in this case a happy death or end, while time doesn't give you more time it has the opposite effect it takes time away from you and you become slower and eventually die, interesting concept. and adding the Korean words made more fun, challenging and a bit educational. graphic and sound is ok but could be better. seem you are still at the start of your development journey, and scratch is a good place to understand programming logic. as the guys above said try to learn tools that give you more power game maker, game salat, godot, unity, fusion, unreal whatever you feel best suit you ^^ all the best.
☐☐☐☐☐ : an experimental narrative by Lapersila 2019-05-08T13:18:50Z ♥ 2
a very interesting way to go about narrative-driven games, however, I might have expected more especially from the go back in time mechanics. simple art and sound effect is a wise choice since this your first game jam. the addition of a soundtrack tho would have improved the game mode quite a bit. what you can improve is the story since events felt disconnected and it do not drive you to look for what gone happen next. finally, make the go back do something cool like erase or change the outcome. overall good job and congrats on your first game jam game.
here some screenshot doesn't know if that considered overlap tho. image (13).png image (14).png

the game idea was nice and interesting, the sound effect was funny and engaging, the graphic was charming and overall the game felt nice. the control tho could use some improvement, for example, you could get rid of the click and drop and just make it count when you click on the coin since click and drop seem to take so much time and its kinda annoying. also, there is a bug where even if you put the right about of coins customers still stay and just change the number (see pic below). overall this was a nice entry good job and good luck.

creating a 3d character for a game jam is impressive, the music and art style was cool, however, the bloom felt a little bit overused. also, the control tends to be annoying if it was possible to make the camera rotate with the movement direction that would be easier I think. also could not feel the effect of the upgrade on gameplay. it will be nice if there a way to restore your life points ( maybe all your heart will be restored when starting a game). overall it was ok. all the best.

for a game that is not fully complete it feel super polished, and been a compo this make this entry even more awesome ^_^. the story is so immersive, the art is simply beautiful and the VFX add a ton the game feel all that make this a great experiencing. well done sir <3

great work on the level design and art the game kept introducing interesting new mechanics to keep me engaged ( ignoring the difficulty order tho). the code seems to be clean especially been a physics-based game strange physic behaviour felt more like features xD so well done. the only thing missing is the background music but given the SFX and that its a 10 levels game and the limited time it's understandable. all the best <3

personally I'm not a huge fan of this genre, however, I liked the idea, graphics, SFX, VFX and the clean code <3. however, a bg soundtrack would have been nice. overall this was an interesting entry. for what can be improved you can add upgradeable attacks to balance the increasing number and absorption power of the enemy. well done and i hope you keep working on it ^^ all the best

Wild Card Necromancer by JOrbits 2019-05-03T13:58:35Z ♥ 1
this was a fun experience well done. good use of the theme using your life power to summon them, minions, good sound effect, a soundtrack could have added more to the game mood tho. having a web version is also great ^^. the art looks nice, the movement feels smooth except when you another enemy touch you( i assumed its a slow effect xD). the only problem I found was that sometimes you can die from creating unites(if this by design ignores this, however, it seemed weird since u can't click the UI when u don't have an extra half heart). didn't find the exact action that causes this but in all cases, I was clicking on a zombie -2 UI image (4).png

Overworked by MsAlison 2019-05-03T11:36:47Z ♥ 1
overall it was a nice experience ^^. I liked that it was fast pace and kind overtaxing I worked super hard to get to 900$ and lost that pretty fast at the end. was wondering do you increase the pace based on how overworked you are (cash gained)or linearly with time. for me, the UI and the controls were ok, managed to figure them out without reading control.text but seem others have problem with that so maybe adding them to the UI. there a ton of stuff you can add but for an initial build, this looks solid.
P.S: is that works hanged on the wall at the end xD that so some funny dark humor <3

overall it was a fun experience love how you made it just as confusing as real life, you can study but if you study a lot you will miss on other areas of life. study affect your job and its salary which is cool. ages unlock new areas of the game, the mood meter and friends are all very cool. the graphic was on point helped the game feel calm and fun. the audio was dope <3. my favourite part about the game was the end statement it was so funny ^_^. the only problem I found tho was that some staff cost cash and some cost life but there nothing that indicate which is which( don't know if that a design decision or you missed it).
