Nice work! I was a bit confused at first but after clicking around for a bit I finally figured it out. I liked the sounds and graphics and even your presentation on the web page looked great. :) Good job!

Confusing start, but after I figured everything out it was quite enjoyable :)

I'm so sorry for confusing everyone!!! Thank you for sticking to it and figuring it out @norris-eldridge @kristinnes @mrspeaker @aterlamia

The audio/visuals were great! I love the gameplay, although it took a while to get used to dropping with a different button.

seizethedia 2019-05-02 19:01

It chooses randomly to spawn a "Human" or a "Demon" customer, so some of you might start with a Demon and be hurt immediately before you have a chance to understand what's going on! Really sorry!

Feedback is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Yes was confused too with the drop by right mouseclick thing, but liked the game. Audio was nice too, helped a lot with the mood. Good idea, well done!

Interesting interpretation of the theme :) As it's already been said, the left/right click was a bit confusing, and it sometimes felt like the coins should be placed carefully if you want them to count as damages (dunno if it was intentional?) Another point that I had hard time to get is, is it finally possible to win the game & escape ? :) It felt like you can't run from the Devil.

Other than that, the soundtrack is pretty engaging, and graphics fit well to the mood you're creating there.

Good job on creating a game!

Really cool game with fantastic audio/visuals! But either I don't understand how the game works or its bugged, I would drop the right number of coins, but then the number would change (this would repeat and I wouldn't be able to get rid of the customer).

dk5000p 2019-05-06 16:39

I think the game could have been done completely with the left mouse and would have been nice if I placed all the coins and didn't have to click multiple times. Besides the interface being a little unruly, the artwork is great, the customers are funny and the sounds are also good.

seizethedia 2019-05-06 16:56

@jam373 yeah there's an annoying bug that happens when a coin gets in the way of another. Thanks for playing!

4knights 2019-05-07 19:13

the game idea was nice and interesting, the sound effect was funny and engaging, the graphic was charming and overall the game felt nice. the control tho could use some improvement, for example, you could get rid of the click and drop and just make it count when you click on the coin since click and drop seem to take so much time and its kinda annoying. also, there is a bug where even if you put the right about of coins customers still stay and just change the number (see pic below). overall this was a nice entry good job and good luck.

here customer asked for 6 and i placed one 5 and one 1 image (12).png

after clicking space this happen image (11).png

seizethedia 2019-05-07 21:55

@4knights yeah totally agreed that I should get rid of the drag and drop. A friend of mine suggested tying them to keyboard shortcuts but I like your way best. Simpler and more intuitive. Can also simplify some of the code for registering the correct amount so bugs like that don't happen. Will post a post jam version with this change this week. Thank you for the feedback!

A very interesting game, here. I definitely got confused a couple times when I am pretty sure I gave the correct change and still didn't 'kill' the enemy. I got lost a few times when the enemy didn't die --- Am I supposed to just add change to make up the difference? Or am I supposed to remove all the change to get the correct number on screen? (Example being: enemy with 6 health. I put a 5 on board and hit space. Enemy now has '1' hp. Do I remove the 5 and put a 1 out, or do I just add 1 so that I have 6 on the board?)

I feel the UX could be cleaned up a bit so that the change goes away if you're wrong and you have to put new money on the board so that the money on the board is always equal to the HP of the enemy.

Graphics and art all fit together pretty nice. Only request would have been to have an easier way to get money out. Left and right clicking didn't feel the best, but it did work.

Nice entry!
