LOVE this game!!! It's hilarious. I made it to 90 after a few attempts and even got a couple of achievements

Mac build just has an exe in it

I really like this game! I'm a big fan of "Event driven games" like Crusader Kings or Reigns so this was charming :)

Hi! I'm on Linux currently, so I thought I could try out the Linux build. If I DL that, I get the Windows build instead though. Thought you might like to know. (I don't currently have Wine or a VM set up properly, so I can't play at the moment. -- Don't worry I didn't rate yet, as you shouldn't rate games you can't play.)

Hi, thanks for the comments. Think those linux/mac links are fixed now ^_^ thanks

It works now! A lot of the time is spent waiting and the results from your decisions seem a bit random. So I guess that it is true to life :-p

First I had a boring life until 63 with bald head and no achievemnts. On my second try I died at 9. Depressing.

It is fun for what it is. Maybe the long waits between events were a bit too much sometimes.

I played this over and over and over to try to get the best ending lol. I can't believe I lost at 5 rofl. Some day I'll get that promotion by bribery XD

It was fun to try a few times, to see all of the different events you put in. The writing was pretty good. It might have been nice if some of the achievements that happened earlier in life (like getting a dog) gave rise to other special events later in life (dog dies, or something).

I enjoyed it for what it is, had a few loud laughs :D But the biggest downside is the waits between events, since they serve no purpose. But without them, you'd rush through the game in seconds. So I feel like there's something missing to fill those gaps but I'm not sure what.

I scared children and increase health. Great!

Just a heads up, your Mac build still doesn’t work for me (MacOS 12.3.1 on ARM). For one, it’s a rar file which the native macOS archive utility can’t open (zip is standard). After using a third party tool (The Unarchiver) to unarchive it, the app is simply called “Mac” (ok, but why not something like “Live Long and Prosper”?), and it refuses to launch no matter what I do. It just says "The application 'Mac' can’t be opened.” regardless of any security settings. I think usually this is the result of the executable not having the correct file permissions in your archive.

Love it! The theme led to many games about delaying death but I think the humor in this game separated it from the rest.

Love the Spanish segment and the progressively lost hair :D

squidmobile 2022-04-18 06:21

Cute game, silly and light hearted, works well with the theme and has fun variance between attempts.

lakedev 2022-04-21 03:32

Fun, cute little game! I like how with each playthrough you get different events so it has more re-playability, and I also like the humor at show. The graphics are nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done as well as it needs to. Would be nice to have some more *oompf* to the UI, but this is still quite a charming game! Good Job!

evan-minto 2022-04-21 04:08

Really clever! I also enjoyed the randomized events a lot. Every playthrough feels really different and you can sort of roleplay it. The vocalized SFX are also fun. Would have liked some music.

Simple and effective, it kept me laughing.
