Really really nice. Great graphics and sound. Was a little bit annoying to land accurately and one of the letters I couldn't manage to extract from the postbox though.

tijmentio 2017-08-01 11:49

can't believe you made this in just 72hours! I can easily see this turned into a full game. w o w

Great game which is exceedingly pretty. It looks so cute! I loved the chilled out vibe of it with the ambient audio.

daniel 2017-08-01 19:34

Really nice atmosphere with the sound and graphics. Nice relaxing gameplay

heather-flowers 2017-08-01 22:07

I love how the game forces contrast between flying and walking. A really beautiful experience.

drewg8 2017-08-02 02:52

I love your work with Sokpopco and this is absolutely up to par, even in 72 hours

elgregos 2017-08-02 14:33

Jeez, that was one nice half hour of playing, couldn't get rid of that smile on my face.

sanguine 2017-08-02 19:23

Ooooh, so pretty and chill

the-iron 2017-08-02 22:21

It would have been nice to be told that the stamps actually matched the scarves; "look at the stamp" apparently wasn't clear enough. That being said, that is my only issue with this fantastic game. I really loved it, it was very cheerful.

duzzondrums 2017-08-03 00:05

The audio immediately put a big grin on my face, and the simple elegant design really impressed me. The visual style is fantastic too, all round great stuff!

futil 2017-08-03 00:38

I think this might be my favorite game of this jam so far! The style is just absolutely lovely, flying the plane was a lot of fun and I wish that the game was a little longer! Absolutely amazing work, I hope to see you again for the next LD if this is the stuff that you're putting out! 10/10 would fly again

herniewise 2017-08-03 00:56

I hate this game having less ratings than mine being so damn cute and polished. Great job. I retweeted your game some hours ago but I didn't knew it was for Ludum Dare :)

lightzer 2017-08-03 03:01

This was really impressive! The sound was very well done, and the characters were adorable. Loved the scarf physics too. Moving the plan was tough, but it felt rewarding to park it properly.

sanjeev 2017-08-03 06:11

Seriously cute aesthetic. I love the colour palette and the audio. I also liked that you could talk to the people after delivering their mail to find out who it was from. Keep up the amazing work! :muscle:

gumboot 2017-08-03 07:45

I love every bit about how this game looks! Good vibes everywhere. The audio perfectly matched the style and the UI was fun and lighthearted.

marineteta 2017-08-03 11:48

So cute! Really liked flying the plane around, nice job ;)

roguenoodle 2017-08-03 14:56

Not enough games reward you with a paycheck ;) Awesome job - really enjoyed it!

nofuel 2017-08-03 18:09

Lovely pixel art. I was already in love with your last entry. The soundeffects and the visual effects are awesome! My only Suggestions: The walking could be faster I would like to see from far away which person who is

yetman 2017-08-04 13:46

The art style is cute and minimalistic, the color palette is great, the audio is nice. I didn't understand that the stamp color is related to the scarf color till I read it here. Anyway, I enjoyed the game although the plane was a bit too hard for me to control.

pablodap 2017-08-06 18:42

So cute! I didn't get how to make the plane fight well at first, but when I did it felt so cool.

It'd be cool to see a little complete game with more environment and a entwined story. Going to a town in the middle of the forest to deliver a letter from a relative from a small village by the seaside. (And different environment heights, so you can use a cliff to get in the air, or fly beneath a big stone arch)

turncoda 2017-08-06 19:34

I loved that flying feels so great. Walking is slow, driving on the ground has bad turning, but flying in the air feels fantastic! I see that as a very deliberate, calculated choice and I really appreciate that, I wouldn't change a thing about it. The flying mechanic is very elegantly designed. Staying in the air requires watching my height (in my mind, equivalent to my shadow distance) and making sure my engine sound is loud enough (wow, :ear: feedback!), while also looking at the edges of the screen to see if the person I'm looking for is on the horizon (I quickly learned that it's very easy to overshoot your destination, so looking very far ahead was my way of making sure I landed as close as possible). I love that pulling-up is a method of braking as well as a way to gain height, which makes total sense and also happens to be a beautiful dual-purpose mechanic here  Took me a replay to notice this, but I like that the soundscape changes when you're in the air, it's a very, very nice touch that serves to accentuate the difference flying makes, at a level most people don't consciously notice (I certainly didn't, until I tried the game again with a more critical ear). All of these things make me come to appreciate flying, both as a player and a game designer.

I've played a fair share of Ludum Dare games this time around, and I saw a lot of designs that tried to use the fuel+refuel paradigm as a central mechanic. In some of the games I played, it was a little annoying and perhaps a little shoehorned. I think you've done it elegantly here in a way that is not annoying and actually serves the purpose of accentuating flying. Props to a thoughtful theme incorporation!

I learned a lot while delivering mail too. First I tried driving on the ground only, but that's when I realized that flying makes it much easier to turn. But flying requires high speed! So I had to learn how to take off (gently ), and once I got the hang of it, I felt like a real air mail pilot, like I always wanted to be. I also noticed (maybe a little too late) that the mail was color-coded. What a nice little detail! I guess that's a reminder to me that some things that might seem obvious aren't always immediately apparent from the player's perspective.

The aesthetic says to me that the creator is experienced and has deliberately presented a cohesive experience, something I cannot often say for Ludum Dare games. That is essentially what drew me to this game, and I was pleasantly surprised to find substance behind it.

I loved the game so much that I actually delivered all the mail and got my paycheck! I decided to fly around with it to celebrate, but I realized afterwards I could have given it to my favorite person, but I didn't manage to have time to do that before the game ended :disappointed:

split82 2017-08-08 10:27

Very nice game. I really liked the flying physics and smoothness of everything. I played in 4K and it was maybe zoomed out too much. Also I could see the things on the ground pop up and disappear. Otherwise this a very pleasant experience. Great job!

mike-cullingham 2017-08-09 03:17

Interesting little game. Had a lot of trouble figuring out which letter went to which person... colour-blindness issue? But neat idea, and it was very calming. Fantastic art and sounds. Very nice job.

levidsmith 2017-08-09 03:18

Cute game. I liked the concept of using the plane to deliver mail, but since it's impossible to hit anything, there's really no point in taking off. However, the flight controls feel well done when you do take off. The popping sound when you are walking was really annoying, to the point where I almost turned my speakers off. The other environmental ambiance was well done. I talked to the boss after delivering all the mail and got the paycheck, so I think I won. I couldn't figure out if there was anything to do with the paycheck. I liked how you had to match the stamp color to the color of the scarf of the recipient.

zyow 2017-08-09 07:45

Nice game with a cute atmosphere! Great job!

Sometimes the plane refuses to take off.

spotline 2017-08-13 09:58

Very beautiful game with a great mood ! Would love to have a full game around that.

seconddimension 2017-08-13 16:33

This was a beautiful little experience, it all worked perfectly and I found it very relaxing. I appreciate the choice not to have any kind of HUD or UI, it added to the mood nicely. The flying itself felt great (although controller support would have be good), overall it was a perfect game jam entry

cttfow 2017-08-17 11:35

The audio was really great and worked well for the experience of the game. The gameplay is simple but the atmosphere is nice, the graphics are really neat and look soft. The game almost reminded me of Monument Valley in a way!

strannix 2017-08-17 11:38

This was cute and somewhat zen experience. Loved the graphics and sound and the feel of the plane. Everything came together in a really nice way. Some of the most fun I had with a game from this jam.

menno-stas 2017-08-18 16:28

Cute cute, love it.

franklins-ghost 2017-08-19 14:58

So nice and soothing to just fly around. Liked how delivering the letters was this calming job and that there was real contrast between the walking and flying. The sound effect for the walk was also pretty cute. Some of my favourite visuals this ludum dare.

alexandr-androiddev 2017-08-19 16:28

I feel like can't see so cool game without web/linux version
