Tough game. I couldn't get through the first level unfortunately. Plus I felt like my guy was on ice sometimes which made exact movement tough
Interesting idea. Very tough though.
I loved the time paradox aspect. Maybe it was my computer lagging, but the timer definitely was more than 10 seconds which seemed odd, but otherwise really cool game.
I liked the vector art style. The game reminded me of some old atari maybe nintendo game where you have to land on stuff and the controls are similar. I don't remember which one though. Cool idea, needs a bit more levels or something though.
Very soothing artistic game. I'm not sure what to do after you get to the middle platform with the arrow pointing up like what is in your picture. I followed the path going down where another glowing rock fell and I could not tell what else to do. I tried going far up but did not see anything.
The leaderboard is great. Makes me want to play again and try and beat whoever is in front of me. Visuals are also nice.
I love the premise, murdering all the dinosaur eggs is kind of hilarious.
I don't really get it. Is it just Trial And Error until I get it right? Tough game.
Gets tough fast. Needs a bit more variety but was a good defense game. The theme wasn't used in the most creative way though.
Cool game. I agree with one of the other people that the dragging was a little stiff and troublesome to move one at a time. This would probably make a really good andoid/iOs game.
Yea, I am not sure what I am supposed to be doing. Is there a target power level for each level. Does it say anywhere in the game what power level we are trying to get for each level?
Nevermind, now I realize that its the arrow to the left of the power gauge.
Nice game. I definitely thought the level in your picture was harder than the last one, but the game was fun.
The messages are great. A clever way to include the theme. The gameplay is also pretty enjoyable. Good job.
Loved the intermission!
Fun game. I really liked the backgrounds that you created and the explosion effects were very nice.
Woo I got past the tutorial! I really like the concept. It is just very hard. I think the theme hurts the game cause I just want to go around blowing crap up and flying on missile but can't. I think it would work better if destroying things got you points and how long or quick it takes you to get to the end of the level also gave you points or something.
What did I just play?! I loved it. So bizarre and adorable.
Great art. At first I was confused why the second room was so much harder than the 3rd and 4th and then I remembered that it was a rouge like and had randomly generated rooms. Cool game, sometimes the timer would freeze on nine though.
Wow, I give up. It definitely helps to play it in twice the size mode, but it is still way to hard for me to get through.
Cool game, tough though. Some of the path was falling when the game was paused in the second room. Is that supposed to happen like that?
The worst cowboy. I liked the idea, hit detection was a bit rough. Was he supposed to turn so slowly, it seemed to take forever for the game to realize that I want him to change direction.
Fun idea. Needs some random placement of the coins/point things though so each time you start it is different.
Oh my god that sound. I didn't see the theme. Nice 3 matching game but that sound effects is piercing. Definitely not my favorite part.
Great game. The double jump and wall jump and rotating world worked really well. I was sad that there were only two levels. Great job.
Yikes, that's hard. Which is a shame since the jumping mechanics feel solid. The 10 second time limit makes it very hard though, without trial and error to know where to just run and when you have to actually jump.
Nice snake like game. I liked the graphics and found it humorous that the snakes poo out other squares.
Cool idea. I liked how the forest opened up. A good tower defense game is very hard to create in 48 hours. At first it was fun but after a few rounds the waves seemed to take a very long time.
Nice game. Actually I like the last level the best, nice and colorful. I needed to mute my speakers though. That beeping sound is piercing.
A tutorial would help the game, but the mechanics are solid once you understand what is going on. Really cool game.
Fun game, The jumping and sliding is really cool. Sorry it took me so long to finally get around to playing it. I was curious when you mentioned that you had a similar interpretation of the theme as me. SPOON TOSS! (oh now I see that other people thought the same thing to write spoon toss) so TABLE FLIP!
I like the art style. Needs some more things to dodge though, it didn't get that hard and the score system seemed messed up.
I loved the music. The game got perfectly creepy when the robots went on patrol. A little easy but a great game for 2 days.
Loved the soundtrack, but I wish the falling voices wouldnt ruin it. Fun game and very polished.
Very funny game. The opening cutscene is fantastic, haha Nurse Melons. With a few more minigames it would be perfect. I also love the top of the pill bottle falls into the patients mouth.
Nice game. The art and sound are very good. The game took a minute to get used to switching between the characters but it worked great once I got used to it.
Sound is a little annoying. Seems very difficult, maybe even impossible to finish a level.
I enjoyed the gameplay. I wish I could use the arrow keys to move the character though.
Worked on Chrome. Funny game, after retrying the music cut off a couple of minutes into my second round and stayed off which was sad.
Very fun game, good level of difficulty also. The game was a little too tall for my computer, but I was still able to play it effectively.
Fun little game. I didn't realize that shooting geese was bad. The boss was cool although I died on him.
What a fantastic idea for a game. You took the theme and made a wonderful original (and somewhat realistic) game. I'm not sure if NASA can actually control the rover or if the rover just has ai, but they would probably have this problem of delayed input. It was great that you created easier versions also.
Nice graphics and game. I like the dialogue from the captain.
Nice game. The thruster sound is a little loud but not that bad. Nice randomly generated levels.
Very enjoyable with nice graphics and art. I wish when you lose you didn't go back to the beginning of the game though. It was discouraging to have to replay the entire game if I lost on a level. Would have been great to start right back at the level I died. Especially since extra time doesn't roll over. At the end of a level I could have 30 seconds left then I start back at ten and am rushing because I don't want to have to play the whole game again. I really liked that you had extra challenge collectibles though.
Funny game. I had no idea what the point of what I was supposed to do at first. but then once I found the key I knew there had to be a way to win. Well done.
A little frustrating with how precise the hallway size are. Plus there were alot of frustrating invisible walls which were just pretty much instadeath.
Game was good, the intro was a bit long though.
Great art. Most of them were a good level of challenge also where they would require a few tries but not a frustrating amount of tries.
Nice graphics and song for the game. Too tough for me unfortunately.
Great game. The music is very good also. Makes you a little dizzy if you play for more than a couple minutes though.
Different take on the theme. Pretty good puzzle game but definitely not a game for me.
Nice, simple, fast gameplay. What Fanvadar said hits the problems right on the head. Right when I go into a portal I usually lose at least one life because something hits me right away. The game just needs some little variety to be great, either different types of enemies or something. Great job though!
Yaa escape the lava game. You should have imported couches or tables or other other house things to make it more like a kid was playing. Loved this game as a kid.
Nice set up and mood. Nice music used for the game. I liked some of the more silly actions like trying on the socks.
What a beautiful, fantastic, bizarre game. I love it. Darn that sun is so creepy though.
Nice game. The sounds were not a great choice though. It felt like the character slid a little too much also. Besides these it was a fun game.
One of the finest games I have played yet. I loved the premise. I wish the game didn't send you back to the start if you died or you could choose which one you could go back to. Very interesting and creative game. The only 2 problems was the intro was a little long, but you had a skip button so not a big deal, and the camera kind of seemed a little obtrusive at times. There were times when I couldn't really see what I wanted to see. Besides these it was a great game. Good Job.
Link works. I like the art and music. The art is simple but effective.
Nice graphics, but the game is a wee bit hard. I wasn't sure what to do for the second level.
Haha, I got up to the already dead guy. One of the first humorous games I have found, plus a great interpretation of the theme. Most games I have played just use 10 seconds as a crutch for a wave starting or you need to finish a level in 10 seconds. This is actually something that is a very clever use of the theme. Bravo. Plus the graphics were perfect.
When I read that this was about a sloth that was running away from a bomb I was very excited. Especially when I get to take drugs as a sloth. I was confused why the sloth moves so fast though. Bumping down the movement speed and maybe moving the camera a little closer (or a little bit up so we don't see so much dirt) would help. Great job for an html5 game though.
This reminds me of surgeon simulator and that's a good thing.
That was great. I loved the art style and the various enemies were all great. Only problem was I got a mediocre short ranged random weapon right before a bunch of more difficult guys started spawning!
Oh, unfortunately my puny laptop can't handle this game. And I love horror games.
Actually recharging shields are a great addition to the galaga, space invaders gameplay. It allows you to come back from near death.
The game play is fun. The cursor for me was a little off from my mouse. For some reason my mouse needed to be about one space to the right of the where I wanted to place the piece which made me lose a couple times. Cool game though.
Interesting game. I wish the game didn't send you all the way back to the start if you lost though. Its just kind of annoying to have to restart the entire game after 5 levels.
Awesome game. Finally a game that lets you skip to the end of the ten seconds instead of waiting for the timer to go out. The only think it needed was what ZeroKelvin already said where you need a reset/exit puzzle button.
Nice game. Pretty tough though. I got up to the level where you have to multitask teleport while immediately moving left or right to avoid the spikes while also clicking on the next teleport spot. Thats when it got too hard for me. Unrelated, The music fits perfectly.
Great game. Very soothing, and the music choice is fantastic. There were a couple of minor text glitches with parts of letters chopped off but they were not a big deal.
Cool game, but a fastforward option is very much needed though
Interesting game. Needs a bit more everything though.
I like the set up to the game. I was disappointed when a box that I hit flew hit one of the mob members off the map, I was hoping for that kill.
Nice first Ludum Dare entry.
I really like the idea. It seems like you really have to mash the buttons super quickly to win even the first battle though. I really wanted to see the town too.
Thank you for the comments! Snail_man your response was exactly what I wanted to achieve with this game. My original ideas after seeing the theme were incredibly dark and serious, so i'm glad that when I decided on a more silly theme that some people would enjoy it.
I created a new linux build which is hopefully playable. I have no way to test it though. Yea I was worried about the field of view problem, I needed to add some view lines (or ideally make cones).
I really like the concept. 10 seconds is just not quite enough time for each round. It kind of hurts the experience being so short. I feel like if the game was based on 30 seconds time limits it would be an amazing concept and game. Also the fade in/out from memory to awake is a little long when all I want to do is try from the awake state again. Great concept though. Also I was a little confused at first, some of the textures for things on the walls are really hard to see. It was just luck that got me the vial and the knife and pliers in the first room.
Nice game. I liked the n+ style missiles although they only fired once.
Great game and a unique use of the theme. I loved how you got the number from every 12 seconds to 10 by telling him he gets 4 hours off, very unique way to solve that number difference!
Great idea for a game. The concept is really good. Some of the hit detection is pretty rough though, especially with some of the tougher later levels.
I'm amazed that all that stuff moving around didn't crash my computer. I have no idea what was going on, but the music is very nice.
Cool idea, but a little slow. I feel like the theme hurts the game a bit since you either have to wait for you previous self to do go through there path before you can do the next part of the puzzle, or wait at a switch for the rest of the seconds.
I like the humor. This idea definitely has potential.
Nice game. I did have the same problem where sometimes when you spawn there is no way to beat the level based on where the enemies are located when you start.
The mechanics are alot of fun, a kind of minature Geometry wars. The theme is kind of lost though since it is only a substitute for life. Definitely fun though and I like the variety of enemies.
Nice graphics and audio. The level design needed a little more variety. Most of the levels were either really straightforward or seemed kind of just repeat until you learn which pipe to go into when. I was super confused with the first pipe level. I thought I couldn't move ahead because of time constraints instead of the player being teleported. Maybe if you switched the first pipe level with the level right after that, it would of made more sense. Fun game though, great job.
Great mood. But I didn't really see the theme anywhere in the game. I assumed that the lights turned off after 10 seconds but that didn't really embrace the idea. The lighting effect was cool though and it ran fine for me on chrome
Good music game. Might be tough if someone is not familiar with some of these tunes though but I guess they are all pretty well recognizable.
Interesting take on the theme. I wasn't really sure what I was trying to accomplish though.
Very interesting concept. I'm glad you have to correctly turn around before you can fire to the right. The music was catchy.
Tough controls. I felt like every camera angle was against me in this game. Another game were the 10 seconds theme kind of hurts the game more than helps it. If I had like 30 seconds it would be more manageable.
Great art style. I really liked the detective part in the town. Although the VVVVVVVVVVV game world was fine, the town was much more interesting and wish there was more to that. I hope you finish the story!
Cool game. The game slowed down or froze a couple of times on the enemies turn until it was my turn again.
Is it possible to click the button? Maybe I need to use a mouse.
I really liked how you did the facts at the end. The popup would come up during the game saying to play the game in chrome when I was playing it in chrome. After I clicked ok for it the game skipped ahead instead of freezing which was annoying. Fun concept and I liked the background.
I like the different ending. It would be beneficial to get gimp or something to do alpha channels so you don't have the weird blue box around the truck and stuff.
Haha that song. I was doing fine until the christmas angel level. I couldnt get the object ghost grab to work successfully unfortunately.
Fun idea. I like trying to dodge dogs and lazer beams as a normal guy and then get my revenge when I turn to a super hero.
One of my favorite games I have played. Its at some points thrilling, at other parts stressful/terrifying. Once I ran out of power, I was like "CRAP!" and then I got stuck spinning around in circles until I figured out how to stop spinning. I am very happy I got to see an alien flash by my top window (maybe it was just a satellite or something). Anyways great job.
Great sound track. A little confusing and not a great connection to the theme. It was kind of bothersome to try and read the ingredients quickly to try and find one that did what I wanted. The sound and graphics fit the game perfectly though.
Nice game, its a little hard to see the slow snow though. I kept running into the slow snow patches by accident because I could barely tell the difference until it was too late.
Great game. It is a little long but the art style and humor are very good.
I absolutely love the music! I had some trouble getting the link to work but it finally showed up. At first I was unsure about the game, it seemed kind of simple, just stay right ahead of the clockhand but you made sure to make some guys move in more difficult patterns. You probably don't need a win condition, maybe just a score or something. Overall, I really enjoyed it. Great game.
Tough game. I appreciate that the bad guys speed up to represent more time going by while sleeping.
Nice quick game. The music was a little annoying after a few levels though. needed a little more variety in color also, the game was very sterile.
Nice idea. Maybe a focus on just one of the game types would make a great game. With this rapid fire approach everything was a little too shallow.
Nice job, its a cool spin on missile command.
I appreciate the effort for a more serious game. There are usually few who attempt an experimental games. I did find a couple of 'bugs' though (maybe features, but they seemed like bugs). I walked to the area where you name pops up and then could not go anywhere. I also jumped past the first hole to the secret area and then couldn't go anywhere. I guess I didn't feel much because I had no connection to this person I was supposed to feel for and the text seemed a little cheesy. I needed a reason to care for this person or something and the endings I found all seemed confusing. Great effort on a more experimental game though.
