404 still.
Ditto, same with the source code.
sorry, i forgot to verify my email address. Both links should work now(hopefully)
Sorry mate, still 404!
Came back to check, and still 404. :( Looks like a cute game - love me the cookie monster.
Huh, that's really weird. It doesn't show 404 for any of my computers
the controls are incredibly difficult
404
This is bizarre. Some people are getting the game while others aren't. I'll probably have to use a different platform next time around
I remember something about unity player not working on some browsers. I just got it to work. I agree that the controls are very difficult. The squiggly lines only randomly work on the turnips. It is an ok attempt for the time you put in, but it might have been better to use Sunday night and time on Monday to enter the jam.
Hm. Advice Noted
This could be a lot of fun with some more polish. Very challenging to focus on all four conveyer belts at the same time. I seemed to lose even when I successfully removed any 'contaminants' though and directed the monsters to eat delicious cookies. Some visual feedback for the 'eat' controls would have helped a bit I think, and maybe a slower ramp-up in difficulty.
thank you for the feedback cummings!
Interesting entry! This is the first game of this kind I've found so far.
It's a bit too unforgiving though! Even from the start is incredibly hard, and sitting through the instructions over and over again made me quit after a few tries.
I have some suggestions that may (or may not) help you improve the game:
If you are going to have buttons in your instructions, they should "keep" their position between pages, so "Next/Skip" is always at the same position in every page. Same with "Prev/Cancel". Helps with usability and makes the UI consistent.
There should be a button to skip the instructions entirely. Alternatively, they shouldn't appear at all after you've gone through them once. You can still have them in a pause screen if anyone actually missed them by mistake.
Having "lives" would also make the game a bit more fair and enjoyable (so when you eat something you shouldn't have eaten, you lose a life instead of going straight to gameover). This would allow you to add "lives" in the conveyor belts to create some moments of relief that will contrast very well with the moments of tension as the game becomes faster/harder.
For a first LD entry however this is really good. Good job man!
