Funny game, but the controls are a bit wonky :/
Fun Game, maybe a little more AI work may be needed, or at least the top guy on level 2 to be moved a little lower, kills you too quick.
@peejaygee: Enemy and wall placement is procedurally generated. The code tries to make things more difficult as time goes on, but sometimes bad luck will get you early on.
fun, but perhaps too difficult
Bit slip-slidey, which adds difficulty. Hit detection on walls is a bit mean too! Love the concept of a "cyber-meow" though, and it's got polished tile art going on!
This feels like an old-school arcade game. Like Joust-era stuff. The sfx are great (I like the blippy meow when you clear a level). Fun little game.
Nice game. Robot cat inertia makes the game devilishly difficult.
love it!
I found it quite hard to get through the level. When there is a single tile width, the cat would bang against the corners a lot. I love the little mew when the cat gets to the box. mew :3
It was quite easy to game the AI and get them to come from only one direction at a time as they all seemed to get stuck pretty easily.
It would have been nice if I could choose the direction to shoot and almost made it feel more like a puzzle as I had to decide which direction to move to make it easiest to shoot the dogs.
Your image of the cat looks really similar to something I drew for my twine game (the bad ending)!
Nice work.
You just need some more work on the IA pathfinding but for a compo entry it's hard to have time for everything ^^
Cool graphics and sound effects, except the repetition of the wall collision sound.
Some levels are just unbeatable, because Robot dogs spawn too close to the Robot Cat !
Nice work anyway.
Cute! I have a problem with the movement. It seems you used physics based movement. This game would work best with instant acceleration/deceleration. Otherwise, I love the idea of getting the cat to his box. :D
