great music, great art and it has multiple endings i like it :D
Cute AND horrifying? Perfect.
That was the first date sim(?) I played. Good one! Sometimes text isn't quite readable though. Graphics are cute and idea is cool.
Wow! Started off a little slow, but got really interesting. Love the graphics!
Such a cute game. Loved it!
I laughed out loud when I "lost" for the first time. But after a few plays, I figured out what the symbols meant and had a rough idea how to influence them, and I got the happy ending :)
I like how it has multiple endings, nice pixel art and audio also!
SO CUTE! I really enjoyed this! I hope this gets more notice! :(
Great art, great dialogs, sweet music and multiple endings = love :) Totally like it! Good job.
Nice dialogs and music, good job :)
Cuteness overload (or is it ?). Loved it. ^^
That was pretty good! but why such a tame "eating" should've wewnt the whole way!! Ill try some more to see if taking only the arm was a "better" outcome then some.
Really, really nice game. I included it in part 8 of my Ludum Dare 33 Compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/tto3rRaLBXQ
Overall 5/5!
Great job! The game is lovely! This could be the most sweet way interpret the 'monster' in the theme! The inner conflict between kill and love, the polished graphics and tweening! Picked by GB!
Didn't make it to the end, maybe not my type of game.
Dislike: Music, shaky screen
Like: Grumpy monster's answers
Really cute date sim! I really enjoyed playing it!
Great job =)
Loved the multiple ending aspect of the game. the music and art style are great!
Loved it, I'm a real sucker for these kind of games :)
Squeeeee! :D
Ah such a lovely story. And I didn't even need to eat her. Nice flow in graphics and music.
This one is really excellent! I got a sweet ending, and a somewhat faster one... I still want to come back to try out some more of it, though!
The graphics & sound was amazing :). The story was nice, and the game fit the theme quite nicely. Well done!
I really like the commentary (or "message" if you will) here. A nice take on what it means to be a monster and the conflict that comes with it.
Good job!
Great game, love the atmosphere and ending, well... as long as I don't eat Nadine before :P
Brilliant touch with the "EAT" and "NO" representing the conflicting desires of the monster!
I ate her! Cute visuals and audio :)
Haha what a great idea! Love it!
Perfect game!
I chose to be the wicked then romantic monster, it was HARD to not eat her, haha. :D
There's really a lot of possibilities! I did not notice any duplicate actions!
Well done! <3
The concept is just brilliant I liked it!
a monster visual novel with tamagotchi i loved! so cute and well made, good job!
Fun, cutesy dating sim. I'm concerned for Nadine and the protagonist's relationship though, considering he spent the best part of a week wanting to eat her... I really liked this, although I only managed to get the sweet ending (and eat her on the second day, of course). Great entry, well done! :)
That was awesome. The only part I felt was a bit cheap was trying to be nice offering her my food, only to find out it was poisonous to her. Other than that, it was good, and the variety of endings were all satisfying.
That was great! Mmmmmm tasty human.....
Love the tune too, so sweet and nice.
The game sure gives lots of choices! For example here: http://i.imgur.com/FmHM6YO.png
Either way, interesting visual novel and good take on inverting classic Tamagotchi. Most of the time the choices felt "too obvious" (i.e. it wasn't difficult to tell which effect they'd have), but I don't think it's a big flaw (it's not uncommon, either).
Graphics and audio were pretty cute, though sometimes I feel a font colour could have been chosen better; the narration text is a bit dark, and the red text kinda clashes with the background.
Still, pretty nice entry overall. ^^"
How could you think of doing a date sim with this theme ? lol it's briliant, congrats
That was unexpected. I liked it.
The moving UI made me a little dizzy...
I really liked the story and how the main hero is fighting his monster nature.

s-suki desu!
also:
Very cohesive graphical style. The slight animation on everything looks great.
Clever game and nice to see the other side of the story of a tamagotchi. Graphics are great and the multiple endings were a nice touch.
That was cool, I like it! :)
Beautiful game, I really liked it! :)
Cute, played through a couple of times to see different choices and really enjoyed it!
fun little game, i felt so bad when i accidentally killed her :(
That was hilarious! I liked the underlying conflict of wanting to consume the caretaker (as well as other myriad of method to kill her). Ended in a romance ending (dunno if there are other endings) while frantically trying to retain my resources. Adorable, stupid, and absurd: the perfect formula. Great presentation, too.
Thought the music was pretty repetitive. Could have been more contextually sensitive. A nitpick, though.
I loved it, it was really fun, and funny.
not my kind of game. but very innovative anyway.
Is it even possible to get a different good ending than the romance ending? I tried several times but couldn't get any other good ending.
Anyways, I liked the game enough to try multiple times before giving up on finding different endings. It's fun trying the different options and seeing what results they bring.
The art is obviously the strongest point of the game. It's very charming and works very well in the game. The only minor flaw I could find was that Nadine's death sprite didn't really have much of an impact.
I disagree with most commenters on the audio. While the background tune is nice, it gets repetitive over time. More importantly, there are countless missed opportunities where the game could be enhanced with sound. Most notably, Nadine's death is soundless with the cutesy tune still playing in the background. Even just muting the sound would have made it much more dramatic, but ideally you'd want a short dramatic BGM and sound effect. Sound could also provide tons of feedback (for example to indicate Nadine's mood changes) or help immersion (eating sounds while eating, etc). The audio's not terrible, but it could have been so much better.
I included your game in an article of my favorites and added a trophy to your profile! http://fireside.gamejolt.com/post/jam-favorites-ludum-dare-33-part-1-uzbzpjci
