Interesting game, kinda reminds me of the old flash game stick rpg.

very nice game
Is that a VHS rendering of your game? It's awesome. Is there a separate button for interacting with your phone? @mattdahepic Is there a way to end the Simon/wife minigame without actually succeeding? I got stuck.
Man I really liked the overall style and mood. It has a lot of content for something made in 72 hours too. That being said I never really felt challenged at all and I didn't have much motivation to do anything. Still definitely one of the more interesting games I've played
Hah, we were actually planning to take our game in this direction in terms of having different minigames per faction, but ran out of time. Good to see the idea get implemented somewhere though, I haven't seen this yet from the other games. I really like the theming of the game, the 1994 is a super subtle touch, and I use a dumbphone myself so I feel right at home.
Awesome game and fun small games within the game! :) When the cellphone stops giving you missions, is there anything else that I could do afterwards? Loved the heart house with a companion cake even! :)
It felt like I was moving an image around on a 2D plane, and occasionally colliding with some invisible rectangles, and triggering the appearance of text or graphics on the screen. Or to put in another way, it didn't feel like I was playing a game or like I was controlling a character that lived in a place.
As the first comment said, really reminded me of StickRPG which I played a ton back in the day, so that brought me back :) would have been cool with audio
Nice work! The gameplay's fun and I really liked the art style - the characters had some great animations to them. The "wife says" minigame didn't seem to work for me, and I didn't really like seeing "wife says" as a chore anyway - is it supposed to represent listening to the character's wife? If so, isn't that a pretty old-fashioned idea of a chore? Fun gameplay, though, and lots of charm in the neighborhood. Good work!
The matching game bugs out after a couple rounds. Starts to give all the same type of card so any card matches any card. Nice work. Love the animations.
Nice game you have here. SUPER WELL DONE!
