Ergonomic controls nothing, but the game is very nice, cong 4 it!
I light every lamp in this dungeon and the last big one and next everything goes dark. Did I do something wrong ? Really really nice music/sound and graphics !! Congrats
Good project mate x) also check my weird tower defense x)
Nice short game. Like the lighting but I don't quite understand why shome lights stay on and why some don't. The mechanic with the angled walls is very cool to see. But could be used with more puzzles. Music sounds nice, but the phasing is to fast for the slow type of game. Am I done after the screen fills with darkness? Great artstyle.
Very cool look with the lighting effects. Took me a little while to work out the controls, I should have read the description :) Not sure if there was an ending, I lit all the torches, but nothing happened.
Great mood and audio. There was no information if you had or lacked the fireball ability, so it was confusing of how you got it and how it worked. Interact with A didn't make any sound, so made it confusing. Good luck!
This game is very pleasant to play. Graphics are nice, atmosphere is great, music fits perfectly. However, it could take a bit more polishing. For example, a "The end" screen, or at least a way to tell if you have the power or not, except from trying to use it or guessing.
And enemies are actually nicely done. I think you could make more difficult levels just with using them in clever ways!
Hi everyone !
Thanks for your feedback!
Considering it, I'll add some change and put a new version.
Actually, ennemies are able to switch off torchs when they are next to them (they jumpwhen it happens).
About the fadeout end, it's normal, I didn't have enough time to put an ending. I will add a simple one.
Little weird but cool after all!
Lighting effects are lovely :)
Nice graphics ! Music fits the game.
I like the idea, but you shouldn't add the time limit.
I wasn't sure at the beggining that round shadows are my enemies.
Well, I wanted to put different ending depending on how many torchs you lighted up. There is no time limit : it ends when you light up the big orb.
I wanted it to be a metaphorical game about the mind : if you decide to fight your monsters, fears, problems, at the end, everything feels better, and you're proud of yourself.
The lighting is really nice :)
Really cool game! I enjoyed trying to figure everything out. I like how the game didn't really explain anything (maybe it should have explained the controls)
Could have been longer but you fit a lot puzzles into one screen so I can't complain too much. The graphics weren't anything special but the lightning effects made up for it.
Good job!
I definitely enjoyed the visual part of the game, specially the lighting effect, And the music is good. I was a little confusing at first, but I think I got it. Well done
Amazing game. Although controls are a bit wonky. Keep it up.
Thanks everyone :D
I would like you to get notice about the top left part of the screen game. As I said above, I wanted my game to be a metaphorical game, so I decided to write my title in Braille. It's up to you to know why :)
The game looks beautiful and the idea of lights is awesome. I wish it was possible to move diagonaly and also some challenge as traps or enemies could made the game better. The theme fits very well.
hmm, crashes for me on startup, using WinXP. It looks so cool :-(
Interesting and well executed game, i'm impressed!
Nice graphics! Gool game! Controls was a bit odd for me, even if I held right down, and push and other arrow, tha game forgot that I was hilding right down. Nice job anyways!
Nice game, really liked the idea of how you light the map.
I'm not sure if I completed the game after lighting the big torch or if I went totally wrong, but cool game anyway. Quite an atmospheric experience, the lighting effects are good. Controls felt a bit sticky, I feel like I should have been able to go diagonally but couldn't. Overall cool stuff though.
GOOD USE OF LIGHTS..
Really nice art! The puzzles were pretty simple but nice-looking. I wish the game had controls explained in the beginning; I had to check your description twice to get them.
Seems like a pretty solid game mechanic but there wasn't enough difficulty to it. It is definitely a good start though, because it was pretty fun even to just walk around shooting fireballs, lighting things up. It was just that the enemies were a non threat, and reaching the ending or lighting up the things was pretty straightforward and not very challenging. I guess you couldn't see enemies unless you shot ahead of yourself, but they were so few and far between that it didn't really matter anyway. Some more challenges, more enemies, more levels and it can be a pretty fun game though. Graphics were ok, but pretty flat. I liked what the lighting was doing for the game more than the character or tile art. The tiles were not bad, they had a strong theme, I just prefer a more shaded look.
Reminds me of some of the darker dungeons in "link to the past" but a very good first entry. Well done.
Nice lights, nice graphics :3 the only problem for me its the movement since i can only choose one direction... but its okey if the was design like that. Great work :D
Thanks ! Indeed, it was intentional. But after reading some feedback, I've made some changes and have released the 1.1 version. I recommend you to try it. Changes are little but nice (for example, you are able to move diagonally).
Looks very good
Nice game with cool music.
This game need more levels. :-)
Well made!
