Need authorization to download it, could you post a more accessible link?

Sorry, It's Fixed Now!

The voice remind me Portal, it's quite fun ;) ^^ There are many things in your game, that's a good job ! But the physic is really strange.

I beat this, I think I had to play the loop three times.

Wow, the controls are really weird. The falling speed is so low that the entire game takes on an unusual feel, especially when coupled with the crazy air control. Combined with the unusual animation of the main character, I felt at first like what the heck is this??

But soon I realized that the challenges of the platform jumping and enemies are crazily well aligned with the odd controls. Throw in the sarcastic narrator, and next thing you know I'm not minding the kind of thing that normally would be worthy of complaint, like blind jumps that sometimes are what you need to do and other times are instant death.

This was a silly weird good time, nice work!

Heads up though, I didn't like having to run an installer and almost didn't play. Much better to just have a game exe that I can run, I think you'll lose a lot of people who refuse to install.

I think this game has potential, just a few issues with it, the actual physics is a bit weird, especially when you encounter walls (the "hill" sections are very difficult to navigate, sometimes you slide down for no reason), and the camera is really weird, with the way it doesn't follow the the player, it makes it very difficult to see what's ahead (which is kinda important for a platformer)

I did like the sarcastic narrator though, would have been better to have a group of randomized quotes for when you die though, just to mix it up.

the voiceover stands out, nice work. also, those spiders LOL! ran into a lot of the same moving/physics problems in previous comments, I'd recommend working on a better movement feel next time around.

I played this on Livestream Today at the request of the Developer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zCqO_O0iIo

We discussed in livestream my thoughts. I think the character controller was the chief culprit, and you would have a pretty solid core if that could be tightened up a bit. Funny stuff with the British Microsoft Sam.

Some suggestions, make the walls a darker texture, or different texture than the platforms you collide with. The camera is either way too far on the right or the left, forcing a lot of blind jumps, you made the game so you know what each level holds, but new players are taking leaps of faith. keep that in mind. other than that, the VO was hilarious and incredibly sassy.

Interesting one! Voiceover really helped - we found that out in our game, really adds a lot! Love the Portal/Stanley Parable feel :)

Wow all those memories of MLG parodies are coming back thick and fast. Anyway some cool things here. I like Daniel's Sass and the levels seem interesting and well put together. I would suggest making the jumping lighter and more bouncy; at the moment it's a bit stiff.

Great overall though cheers.

Hahaha, that walking animation deserves a medal :D

I liked the idea! It reminded me of Shoot by Quill18 (http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=7862) Although, I would like to have more death voice overs because it got kind of repetitive! But, the game was still loads of fun and pretty funny!

mordokay 2017-05-13 15:44

Even with weird physics on the player I really liked it. The graphics were simple but good and the player itself looks good. I agree with the sound part ... it really is more fun with sound :P Good job!

dragonzlay 2017-05-14 00:17

Wow. How did that happen? Yesterday I had about 5 votes in each category... now i have about 17 each! Thank you to everyone who has reviewed my game, and I wish you the best of luck on yours!

A simple but good game, I like it! The voiceover is great, however I had minor problems with the controls.

bestnickname 2017-05-14 08:34

I felt that the controls in this game were way too floaty. Found the narrator pretty amusing however. Would love to see a more fleshed out version of this game with better controls and the humor still intact :)

stending 2017-05-14 11:54

Wow, the controls are weird but in a way I'm pretty sure that's absolutly what you wanted! It's not unplayable and still fun, so it gives a weird funny feeling to the game. So that's a really great point, actually!

The voiceover is pretty innovative and very fun! I admit that hearing the same sentence multiple times when I die was a bit annoying, I was hoping for different random lines! But that's not a problem at all!

I didn't manage to finish the game though, even with your hint :/ I guess I'll try a again later!

But anyway, super entry, quite original and inventive!

lucas-ferrantelli 2017-05-14 12:09

Nice game dude ! Wtf controls but still ok^^
