Looks nice, good music and sound effects, and sticks to its own aesthetic well, but there doesn't appear to be anything gameplay-wise. The hitboxes don't appear to either function correctly or are fully implemented, running out of power doesn't seem to do anything, and there doesn't appear to be any objective (yet) in the game, so you can only really platform through walls, recharge, or fall into the endless void.

Good graphics and sound, great music! However, I don't get it: what am supposed to do?
Same as Mufin, looks nice and has great music and sounds! but I don't know what to do besides charging the robot. Also, if you press R to restart, the music plays again on top of itself and the robot duplicates.

I really like the graphics. Just try to add more on the gameplay and objective.

@mufinmcflufin, @ace17, @herniewise, @eternal thanks for your feedback! There're surely some bugs and the storyline hasn't been implemented yet. It's our first try; we didn't manage to finish on time, but still decided to publish this early sketch, mainly because of the music (and also maybe because we haven't slept well due to LD for the last two days :) Ofc we're going to fulfill the game later, so far your comments are very welcome and do encourage us.
Really liked the graphics and style. The music fits perfectly with the game. Unfortunately I could keep going after the power ran out and then I fell out off the level. With a little more work this will be really fun.
Cool music here!

Beautiful artwork and music but I didn't know exactly what to do. It also has some bugs, like you can jump though a wall and land on a block. Also when you die it's like the instance of the character gets duplicated:

I think you should have focused more on getting the core game play done instead of focusing on the polish. Good job on the visuals though.
Edit: also when you fall out of the room you never stop falling. I figured out you need to press R to restart but not everyone knows that.

Good visual style and sound. Physics is not quite clear - I pass through all the blocks and fall into the void. The energy is over, and the robot is still alive.

It like the art very much. I had a lot of collision issues. The music is great too. Still nice

Good for your first jam. The music fits the game perfectly. The art is so polished. I have advice to you in your next jam, focus on code and gameplay and level design more than the art. I'll be so happy if you'll work more on it.
Really impressive for your first entry into the jam. The music and graphics are really fantastic. As others have said, I can tell that the game is not completed. Still, I think this gives a good taste of what you are capable of. I think this could turn out really great if you continue to work at it - and if not, I don't doubt you'll be able to make some really impressive stuff in coming jams should you choose to participate. Great work!

I like the way you can climb up the "lattice" of blocks.
Pros: - nice animations - clean, crisp graphics - decent audio
Cons: - doesn't seem to be a "game" in the sense of having a beginning, a middle, an end, and a way to fail or succeed (other than falling out of the level)
A quite respectable first entry, nonetheless. The audio and loss of charge almost remind me of rhythm games, like Crypt of the Necrodancer.

The game does have a really nice atmosphere and a really nice concept behind, the pixelart does look really nice and sound design is good too, both blend pretty well, but the game needs some more polish in a lot of areas, just as you said in the description, as it seems to lack an objective, there's no game over and the energy draining doesn't do anything.
It's a good starting point, though, and once you sort everything out, you might have a really nice project to work upon! So Good Job there, and Good Luck too! ;)

Very nice pixel art and sound, it was fun playing Recharge :) I found tile-collisions bug, but overall it's a very good job!

The art is really great, I love the color palette a lot. The music is great too. The physics is really funny, I like the fact the all wall tiles are walk-through and jump-through too. Although I believe it was not intended, I wonder if it can be really used as a game mechanic for a game. I see that you couldn't finish the game but it seems really promising.
