Awesome style of game, really enjoyed it. Music is a nice touch to add to the feel of the story. Loved the branching story, nicely written and a really nice system of determining when you fail the game.

I love the lighting going on here, it looks really cool. The audio is a bit too bitcrushed for my liking. I think the game would have benefited more with some softer sounds. Nice idea, enjoyed playing it.
Fun game, solid gameplay and although it's a subtle interpretation of the theme, it's a nice way of doing it. Nice pixel art to go with it, too.
Really funny concept, great idea for this - animations make it even better.
As you said in your post, the controls could have been improved a little but other than that this is awesome. The art is really, really good to kudos to the three artists you worked with. Really nice, polished game.
Right on up there as one of my favourite games of this jam. Possibly the best i've seen so far now.
@catspawsgames - totally agree with you! I was looking to get the spiders to walk up on the ceiling too but I ran out of time.
I'll definitely write something up about the assets I used this weekend and credit everyone - will try put something into the game, too.
@djeycreations - thanks! Thanks for letting me know about the bug, i'll have a look at that this weekend see if I can replicate it.
@djeycreations - thanks! Bug should have been fixed now, thanks for bringing it to my attention!
@jynspielt - thanks! I've learnt that I need to manage my time and scope a little better for next time, try and get more detail into a smaller project.
@mewsoul thank you! Yeah, the CharacterController was actually just a basic one thrown in from UFPS I modified a bit but didn't really have much time to play around with the motor of the controller to get it right for the game, haha. Definitely plenty of room for polish, better time management in the next jam is my goal!
@affinitychris - thanks! Did you put anything up for this jam? I'd love to check it out if so - can't see anything in your profile so let me know if there is something out there
Love this! That death sprite is just horrfyingly funny. Great job with this!
Interesting concept, don't have a VR to try with it but I think that it would work really well. Nice idea to integrate with the Twitch API.
Really liked the art direction, and the audio was also really nice. No real issues with the controls, I liked how they worked but think maybe the 'speed' movement speed in general could be a touch slower.
The only real thing that bugged me was the hitboxes for the needles and bullets seem to be way bigger than the sprites for the objects, caused some frustrating deaths.
Still really enjoyed it though, I think my favourite game i've played from this jam so far!
Really cool game, some very nice visual effects in there. The energy weapon beams are very cool. Look forward to seeing your next one!
The logs coming down from the top of the screen was great, a really funny way of doing it! Some nice art, particularly the trees in the background. It's a shame the high scores don't save but that's a minor bug. Only other thing would be to polish the UI a little more. Awesome job though, I enjoyed it.
Really enjoyable game guys, great humour - loved the interactivty of the narrator if you tried to not follow instructions. Nice quick gameplay, good fun!
Like the art style, the blend between the 3D models and the 2D cats is cool. I would have liked if the cats were a little more intrusive to what you were doing - I felt like I could just sit there and hit the keyboard until the door knocked and then just click away at everything in between. That said, I did give up at around 3000 words.
Funny game concept though, enjoyed it. Nice job.
Nice game, impressive to have made everything from scratch. Would have liked the rhythm sections to have been in more slightly irregular intervals and maybe more frequently though! Good job :)
Nice game, really like the music! Shame i'm so bad at rhythm games! Nice job here!
Very nice visuals, and I really liked how the ship controlled! I would have preferred slightly more of an area to move between though (or at least more of a visual indicator as to where I can go).
It was a challenging game but in a good way, very enjoyable - awesome job!

Nice simple controls and a cool idea. Easy to follow. Good job!
Really cool idea, fun to play. Beautiful art style through, nicely consistent and really very cool. Awesome work!

I like the art style, the pixel-style font is a little difficult to read though. It's a shame that font couldn't have been brought into Unity to be used for all the UI (i.e. the score) though.
I'm not sure if the white flashing on the screen was intentional or a bug but it really made it impossible to play.
