Nice Game man
I like what you did with the concept, it's not much but it works and is playable. keep it up !
Neat ^^
@paulo-augusto Thanks man! glad i could make it enjoyable!
@anstabo Totally! i did what i could. i'm ready for the next jam, thanks for playing!
Nice Game Enjoyed playing it
fun game! i really like the graphics.
@anstabo I JUST PLAYED YOURS! i love the look so much!
@djibess @dps2004 Thanks for playing! i'm really glad you had fun, even for a good 20 seconds.
Nice game! Surprisingly good visually even though there isn't much art... minimalism with some particle effects goes a long way!
It feels like another mechanic or two would make it a little less repetitive, but not bad for a game in a weekend :)
I like the player sprite, and the sword swinging effect is nice. One recommendation, though, would be to have the screen shake only when you hit an enemy, not just when you swing. It would make it feel more responsive.
@cryovr thanks <3
Simple but fun game! I really liked the graphics, I just think that it needs more feedback to the player, to make destroying the squares more satisfing.
@jeremy-ryan Thank you, i really appreciate it! You are totally right, there was actually a dash mechanic that ALMOST made it to the final game but it generated a few very time-consuming bugs.
@sciman101 @biowater You are right, that and more visual queues! i appreciate the feedback!
nice and fan
I like the damage mechanic, it allows you to get out of sticky situations. It feels fun and satisfying to play! The movement however feels a bit slow in general, might be worth experimenting with making both player and enemy move faster :)
It's too bad you didn't have as much time. The full game loop is there for sure and it would feel pretty good with some polish.
Good job though!
Nice little game!
Pros: - Nice graphics (too bad there is no enemy sprite :confused: ) - Fun and satisfying mechanic
Cons: - Damage felt kinda confusing, don't know if it's a bug in the health bar (it didn't start full and I could take more hits than I thought before I died)
Cheers!
Neat little game, art is simple but effective
@adultlink Glad you enjoyed the mechanic! and yes, less movement dampening may have been a good idea
thanks @logicon211 !!
The idea is good. The black square enemies could be something like character, something like shadow of him. Something to look like enemy. Took a while to make me know of the character hit on the mouse cursor and not on the sword of the character.
Really fun to play.
@plepletier how did I not think of that?????? Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback man!
Neat game ! My favorite part was that we were able to find out the sword's abilities (stronger when used closer, ...) by ourselves, thanks to the variety of situations. It's also visualy clean, without anything fancy but with an emphasis on readable action.
I would have loved some special cubes as well as some soundtrack, but I guess space is not the only thing we were running out of during the jam...
I love this concept. I also love how you can hit multiple enemies at the same time. One slight bug I noticed though: I imagine you didn't mean to allow players to end up with a score ending in ".5"?
Cute little character! Enjoyed it!
Nice game
Fun little game, that would benefit if there were some sound effects and/or music but Good job!
Very simple and cool game :)
simple and effective
@jlv i was going for that yeah, i really need to improve how i manage time, otherwise i will work the same lines and pixels for hours
@crazi456 @hdmmy @bredera @deadeyejoe02 @ravengar I'm really glad you guys enjoyed it
@ryusui Good to hear. hmm, it is not a bug per se.. just a rare occurrence, lol
I mean this isn't a worst game, but it isn't the best either. also watch what you pack in archive and make an esc button.
@plusminus Sorry if i'm being ignorant but can you elaborate on the archives? Can i DM you somewhere??
@cryovr you added UnityCrashHandler
Never thought about doing a wave style game, nailed the theme. I did lose my cursor though with the bright background.
the mechanic of the player feels smooth, i like it. would be great with music.
@g4mr good to hear and also sorry about that one! i'm working on some fixes for a post-jam version
@rodrigo-ramirez thanks!
