LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Dead Man's Volley by DragonXVI 2015-12-20T23:44:00

Great game! The music's great, and everything synced up to the rhythm feels really cool.

Dead Man's Volley by DragonXVI 2015-12-20T23:45:00

Oh and hilarious difficulty is 100% more hilarious with a laptop touchpad.

LD35 — Shapeshift

One Letter Werewolf by tompudding 2016-04-23T11:30:00

Really minimalist but also totally on point. That transformation sound murdered my ears the first time though.

0-/-0 by swinestudios 2016-04-19T12:17:00

This is a neat idea that I've never seen before. Loved the "ohhhh" moment in level 2 when I grokked the point of the mechanic.

Colour Shift by voxel 2016-04-21T18:25:00

The art especially is nice. Aside from the physics, my main complaing would be that I found the limited energy for shapeshifting pretty punishing.

Matchlock Alchemy by sockfolder 2016-04-21T11:47:00

Really interesting mechanics once you get the hang of them. I like the limitations on how you can move the tiles as well - it plays well with the rest of the rules and forces you to think rather than just looking for three-tile patterns.

Elemental Shift by TimBeaudet 2016-04-21T12:09:00

Pretty nicely executed - good art, audio etc. I wish the mechanics had been a little deeper though, there wasn't a lot of strategy involved really.

The Cargo Shift by DesignerNap 2016-04-23T11:15:00

Hatracks! In! Space!

It's pleasant to play with nice art and music, but it could probably use a bit more depth.

Shape shifting puzzle creator by Pikkufighter 2016-04-28T11:52:00

Pretty sweet that you managed a level editor in the timespan. I like the mechanic, but it would have been nice to have more levels to play through out of the box.

Elements guide me by Erkberg 2016-04-26T11:47:00

I love this. I'd play this for hours if it was longer. The controls really badly need tuned up though.

The Canis Incident by srakowski 2016-04-21T12:24:00

Found it a little unplayable with the ton of enemies and (for me at least) pretty low framerate. Best part hands down was the newspaper pages.

PopcornShift by Tegu 2016-04-23T11:22:00

This is a really charming game. There's something satisfying about popping that popcorn too. I agree with the other comments about the controls though - could definitely use some simplification.

Transmog - Not a Pokemon Cloneâ„¢ by gingerBill 2016-04-21T18:15:00

I love the style to death, and I just really really wish the combat had been deeper. Maybe that's a lot to ask for two days of work, but I'd have played it for a lot longer if it had been a little more fleshed out. That said I love the concept a lot.

Shapeshift by Crafting4U 2016-04-21T12:20:00

Nicely polished, and the level design was especially good. I like the mechanic, it'd be cool to see more of it (other shapes?). My one complaint is that it's a little annoying when you accidentally miss a jump/block and waste an orb, then you gotta restart. Other than that though, pretty good!

CatKoonBut by SojaBird 2016-04-21T11:39:00

Really like the atmosphere! I really wanted to fly around, but yeah the first stage is a little harsh. Also the billboard trees get in your face a little up close.

Paperchase by DragonXVI 2016-04-23T11:46:00

Love the style and the effects. The mechanic (and the flavour text) really reminds of Paper Mario. A lot of content and polish for just two days.

Trios by Zyow 2016-04-28T11:58:00

I want a full game of this. It's really pretty, and the puzzles are fun to reason out.

Ohm My, Color Me Squared by amras0000 2016-04-19T19:55:00

I could see the puzzle variation going a long way; it's cool.

Shape Switching by neilcorre2k6 2016-04-26T11:54:00

Damn, this is hard. I like the idea of the mechanic, but it would be nice if you could reliably pick your next shape. Or at least display the order on screen.

ShapeMagnet by nihilaleph 2016-04-21T17:43:00

This game is really viscerally fun, if a little hard. I also felt like I won through luck quite often. I'd love to see more intricately designed levels later on.

Tangram Escape by jhell 2016-04-28T12:06:00

I love this a lot in concept, but it's a little hard to know what to do. And if you use the hints it's too easy. I'd love to see another iteration of this with the design tuned a little. Also, the voice acting is wonderful.

ViralNet by Belroth 2016-04-21T11:26:00

It looks like with more time you could have polished it a lot more. I had a few issues getting the weapons to work as well. Skating around in the larger form was fun though.

The Door by Joanrelos 2016-04-19T19:28:00

I like the tongue in cheek ending. I would have liked more of the areas to be as fleshed out as the island/hall of doors areas.

GOLD+SLIME by bibdectrl 2016-04-26T11:50:00

Pretty nice! The art's really charming, and I liked the plot.

The Cloak-ed Man by TinyHugger 2016-05-03T18:46:00

I'm afraid I don't really get what's going on here. Maybe it was glitched, or maybe it's just me. It's got a nice atmosphere though.

The Adventures of Blinky, The Square-Shaped Round-Thing by peter_sc 2016-04-23T10:47:00

I'm afraid I just didn't really get it :(

A Suttle Haze by Shael 2016-04-23T11:05:00

Voice work, music, art - well done, seriously. This is really nicely polished.

Town Heroes by picxinet 2016-04-23T10:54:00

It's a nice idea, but it definitely needs more feedback. For example, I'm still not sure if/when I'm supposed to take my shapeshifters away from a crisis.
